If possible to tether for internet service on android 4.4 tablets, can you do bluetooth or must have usb connection with BB Curve 9350? Do you need to download BB software on the tablet similar to have on my PC but for android?

Answering my own question. Downloaded 7.1 OS on BB 9350, so now have mobile hotspot to connect to tablet with wifi access. But now browser on BB won't allow me to access outlook.com. All else working great.

If you had looked at data dashboard and some of the other links on Android, you would see that you cannot run a LabVIEW app on Android. Nor can you use a serial port. With Data Dashboard, you have a pc running LabVIEW and it publishes to network shared variables. Data Dashboard on the Android allows you to view those variables.

I believe this budget "Nextbook Premium7" has the 1GHz Rockchip RK2918 cpu which is a ARM Cortex-A8 so it implements the ARM v7 instruction set architecture. Also has 512mb RAM. As a result you may likely be able to run mobile Firefox.
It does not have Google Android Market so you would have to install and update mobile Firefox manually.

If you do not purchase a data plan to use with the 3G, then you will only be able to use your iPad where you can find a WiFi connection - like at a library, or a Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, a friend's house that has WiFi .....

Hello all! I own an Xperia Mini-Pro which I updated with Android 2.1 yesterday. Having some problems, the main ones being: 1) Timescape does not allow me to sign in to Twitter (it claims my username and password are incorrect, despite successful log-ons with the same details via Twitter Mobile); and 2) not all my backed-up contacts have been restored to my phonebook (and yet they still exist somewhere in the phone - I know this because I can bring up full contact details for people who've sent me SMS - but I cannot find them if I use the phonebook interface). I suggest that you try to clear data and any cache in for the Timescape app.
Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> Click on the first hardware button (the one with four squares)> Filter> All> Timescape> Clear data and any cache.
Then check if you get the same error when trying to log in to Twitter.
Regarding the contacts I think you should check if they maybe filtered in the phone book. Open the phone book and click on the first hardware button (the one with four squares) > Contacts to view.
Check if some of your contacts might be filtered.

I signup for the service and I am sorry that I did ,it is so slow that I have regress back to when the internet started, the battery life is lousy it does not last
very long. I should have stayed with Cable. Sales people are not very truthful.

Using a drawing tablet with Logic Pro, esp. for hyperdraw?

Is anybody using a drawing tablet, such as the Wacom Graphire 4, with Logic Pro? I am particularly interested to hear whether a tablet makes inputting hyperdraw data easier.

Yeah, it changes everything — from selecting menu items, to turning knobs or moving sliders. You'll never go back... This is due to the fact that pointing and clicking are merged into one gesture, like playing a piano key takes care of selecting both the pitch and the velocity.
Be sure you get a small model though, not the big one that they use with Photoshop...
I find it indispensable whatever the kind of application I'm using, be it a text processor or an audio editor, whenever precise selection or action is required — to the point that I feel awkward when I'm forced to use a mouse.
By the way, people who are used to using trackballs feel the same — but this isn't true for track-pads.

Is it possible to be connected with a 3G modem for internet access and a WiFi router for printer sharing at the same time?

For our only internet access we have a 3G wireless modem. I have since purchased a WiFi printer and router to connect all the comptuters to in the house. The PCs have no problem with using both the 3G connection and the WiFi signal at the same time to print, however, the MacBook Pro will not connect to the 3G network and the router, it will drop the internet access from the modem and attempt to connect via WiFi (which has no internet access). Is there a solution that is available to remedy this? I attempted to create an adhoc printer network, however, the macbooks again will not print off of this, only the PCs. And I'm getting a bit frustrated overall with this.

Why don't you pass the Internet through the Ethernet port to the router via Cat5 cable, then have that transmit a Wifi signal that everything else can use, then connect the printer to the router for print sharing?
You would have to turn off the wifi on the comptuer with the 3G modem as it's physically connected to the router and can't connect to the other machines as they are all connected to the router for sharing.
The Mac has the ability to pass, Internet Sharing in the System Preferences.
Do you have software for the Mac to run the 3G modem?

I am puzzled with the errors I get when I want to create a Web Service datastore.
Scenario: I have created a SAP Web Service from CRM using SOAMANAGER. The WSDL URL produced by SOAMANAGER is accessibile when pasting the URL directly in Internet Explorer. WSDL URL [http://UXCIQ0M.WDF.SAP.CORP:50076/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/srvc_CBDCB34C89C29304E10000000A4282C0/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=504]
When using the WSDL URL in the Web Service datastore URL field, I get the error An error occurred while importing metadata: WSDLException; faultcode=PARSER_ERROR: Problem parsing: The element type "br" must be terminated by matching tag "/br". (BODI-1111469) (BODI-1112446)
When I save the WSDL defintion in a local file and use a local file path, I get the errors An error occurred while importing metadata: WSDLException (at /wsdl:definitions/wsdl:portype/wsp:Policy): faultcode=INVALID_WSDL: Encountered unexpected element 'Policy. (BODI-1111469) (BODI-1112446)
My questions:
- Why do I get different parsing errors despite the fact that the XML is the same?
- The WSDL is generated by SOAMANAGER. Shouldn't it work directly when integrating with Web Services generated from an SAP environment?
- Is this related to confiurgation issue? I have set the Job Manager to Support adapter, message broker and SNMP communication
- What is the difference between the datastore of type Adapter and the datastore Web Service? In the white paper [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/20bd5e60-11f9-2b10-2bbb-b5109cceff08?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true] it is mentioned to use the Adapter type to consume a Web Service. It is not clear to me why we have those 2 types.

Some updates on this issue, which might help others in the community.
- Data Service doesn't support ws_policy.
- SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SOAMANAGER generate WDSL with ws_policy. In future releases, it is possible to specify not to use ws_policy
- In most cases, replacing ws_policy with standard in the URL directly, works. It doesn't work with Data Services :(.
- Replacing ALL ws_policy in the XML directly is currently the only way to have the WSDL definition being parsed properly by Data Services.

Need help with a Safari Error for Internet Plugin

When attempting to launch a TV episode from the CBS.com website, I receive this error:
The page “CBS.com - Innertube” has content of MIME type “audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.
I thought it was a missing RealPlayer plugin so I downloaded RealPlayer but this did not correct the issue.
I have reviewed the plugins that are installed and this one is not listed but I can not figure out how to get this and install it.

I had Flip4Mac installed. I made the changes to the preferences that you list but I am still getting the same error. I restarted after I made the changes to Flip4Mac.
I also tried accessing the episode using Firefox and get the same error. Firefox advises that I am missing a plug-in and provides a link to download. When I click the download link the response is that "audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin" is an unknown plugin.

I am in Africa with a slow modem for internet. I tried to downlad Firefox 4 and was confronted with a video about how to use it which will suck up all my modem credit. So now I don't have Firefox 4. How can I get it without having the download video?

On a Lenovo laptop, completed the download and restart and got the video which proceeds very slowly because this is Africa! I have learned never to watch videos here because it blows all my modem credit in a short time. If the firewalls operate in the same fashion as Cisco ASAs, then the inter-firewall link doesn't carry traffic. It's for failover detection and HTTP replication only. But like I said, I'm not familiar with this vendor's products.
