Tether FOR OLYMPUS E-3 hell any OLY for that matter

Please I have Lightroom 3 at work and want to be able to get the hell out of Oly studio to tether my E-3, e-1, e-420 or e-620. Please please please show some love for Olympus , just one time. There is an SDk available from OLy Link here. Please some lens profiles besides the ones made by peole just testing, some real ones from Adobe using all of the lens info would be nice. I feel like being loyal to Oly only gets me treated like a red headed step child. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac does not recognize any Calendars for syncing

ive installed the blackberry desktop manager for my Macbook and hooked my phone up through the USB port when I started the program and when I go to the calendar section it says "There are no calendars available on this computer for syncing. Please launch a new iCal and create a new calendar". How do I fix this? I have a lot of information on my iCal that I want transferred over to my phone, but it won't recognize the calendar in the program. Help

I'll try to help...first you did not provide any pertinent information for troubleshooting: Mac OS, device, device OS...
Now before you do anything go to iCal>File>Export and create an iCal archive (JIC). The rest is dependent on the OS (as each store iCal data differently)...It is possible that your calendar file is not where it should be. Try cleaning system and user cache. Restarting your mac and repair permissions.
On the device side, what do you have as the default CICAL? You could try forget device in the DM or trash the user>username>application support>BlackBerryDesktop folder and start over.
Now do you have more than one calendar? In the DM how are you setting the sync? Two Way, All Calendars...to what calendar are you adding on the device? Under Advanced Settings are you selecting All events and are you Replacing all calendar events on the Blackberry device? Remember that even if you have multiple calendars in iCal they will sync as one in the BlackBerry.

BAPI's for Transaction Manager: Is there any BAPI for Stock Options

Hi gurus,
We are using almost every BAPI for Transaction Manager module at FSCM-Treasury & Risk Management (ECC 6.0).
We have forex swaps, forex forwards, forex spot deals, interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, equity swaps, and we also have a stock options plan.
We need to use a BAPI to automatically create stock options, importing data from other stock options alreaedy created (manually, by the user) in the system.
Do you know if there is any specific functionality for this?

Hi Borja,
if I understand you correct then you want to create a stock option like you can do it manually with the transaction FWZZ. Try the BAPI BAPI_FP_CREATEFROMDATA. With this function module it is possible to create different types of securities like listed options or futures too.

In answer to your question, you need to be aware that the PHP server behaviors in Dreamweaver CS6 use the original MySQL functions that are scheduled to be removed from a future version of PHP. The server behaviors have already been removed from Dreamweaver CC. If you are planning to create a site using PHP and MySQL, do not rely on Dreamweaver's server behaviors. You must use either MySQLi (MySQL Improved) or PDO (PHP Data Objects) instead.
If you're looking for video tutorials, you might be interested in the courses I have created for lynda.com. As a beginner, a good place to start would be PHP for Web Designers or Introducing PHP (there are several sample videos that you can watch for free on my website). Never really upgraded it, and now trying to install Lion. I'm being told I don't have enough memory although I think I have 45+gbs ... what am I interpreting wrong?

I guess I spoke too soon! I really can't believe this nightmare is not over yet! My account is still wrong. The credit that I was due totaled $63.00 I am looking at a message on my phone saying that $21.01 was credited which makes my balance $219.72. I received a text the following day that says, I processed your credit of $30.00 and your new balance $216.73 how is that possible? None of the late fees were credited and the amount due for my monthly charges are wrong. Before any changes were made to my data plan back in Nov. My monthly charges were $140.00, I needed my hot spot back and i was told that the hot spot will increase my bill $10 for each phone that totals $20. The customer rep that change my data plan at that time also gave me a credit of $20 to compensate for the increase until I had time to talk with customer service about the mix-up with my Hot spot. I originally had the hot spot, but the rep that change my plan almost a year prior told me nothing was changing except I was getting more for less money. I explained to that rep that I need my hot spot 4 times a year...and I don't want my plan to have any changes. To verify what I'm telling u check my account and see that I called from Albany New York wanting to know where my hot spot was and I was told I didn't have the hot spot on my account since the last data change! I lost money once again due to the verizon rep's. so my current data plan the rep promised would increase $20 which makes my monthly charges that were $140 prior to the change $160 after the hot spot was returned to my account. Then I was given a $12 credit per month for 12 months because of so many mistakes made to my account so with that $12 credit my monthly charges should $148 + surcharges + taxes and that's not what I see. I do know this much right now my account is in such a shambles I can hardly see the light at the end if there is an end! I need real help!

How to install unix drivers for Olympus MAUSB smartmedia reader

I want to use my Olympus "Camedia" MAUSB-2 smartmedia card reader. I have downloaded a coupl eof drivers from the web

These show up as Unix Executables in the Finder
I have no idea how to install them. Can anyone help?

I can't find any support for MAUSB-2 under Mac OS X?
The only drivers I can find on Olympus' site are for Mac OS (not Mac OS X) and date from 2000 (which predates Mac OS X). Mac OS drivers won't work on Mac OS X.
That said, I've never had to install any driver for any card reader I've used. Are you sure you need one?

RAW support for Olympus OMD EM5

Outfitting for a year long back pack trip. My MacBook Pro is going. Am in processof purchasing an Olympus OMD EM5 micro 4/3 camera for the trip. I use Aperture for photo processing. Any idea when or if Aperture will add support for developing the RAW shots from the EM5?

The usual interim approach for raw support has been to use Adobe's DNG converter to create DNGs that Aperture could read. This has always worked with the esception of non-Bayer sensors like the Foveon in Sigma cameras. But I can't get Aperure to read DNGs created from my E-M5's ORFs using DNG Converter v6.7 and have no idea where the problem lies.
It's taken Apple months to support Olympus cameras in the past, so I'm not optimistic.

The camera itself is supported. That means it is possible to work on the raw files in Camera Raw. But there is no support for the lens. That is a different profile. It will be necessary for you to wait and see if the profile is eventually provided, create one yourself, or see if there is one available online.

I agree with other folks' comments; FYI Olympus has a Mac version of their software "Olympus Master 2" which works ...OK. It's slow as snot but it has code to do the software corrections for lenses (from what I know and for those who don't know the micro-4/3 format stuff, the cameras have in-camera software correction for lens effects, but the RAW format is pre-correction so color-fringing and the like are evident and you can witness the software correcting for it, which is probably why it runs so darned slow!)
So if you would like RAW support in a native app, Olympus Master 2 is an option and it runs on Snow Leopard just fine.
An open question I have is if I had the Panasonic pancake lens (f1.5, YOW) could I use my Oly and import the RAW into a tool that can correct for the Panasonic's lens effects?
Yeah, generally you won't care/notice but if you're shooting RAW, you're picky.
