Texas Instruments DLP mini projector stopped working!

Has anybody found a way to correct the mini projector not working with the newer IOS systems? It's pretty amazing that Apple would know they've done this and not corrected. In the mean time... has anyone found a workaround?

Run pacman -Syu. The fixed pcmciautils 015-2 package went out today.

when do IOS5 come out? My headphones broke so is there a way i can get yall to send me new ones. mine just stopped working.

    Ios 5 comes out Wednesday.
We are iphone users just like you.  We can send you nothing.
The headphones are covered by the same warranty as the iphone.  You could contact Apple and get them replaced, if they are defective.

My M-AUDIO Keystation Mini 32 stopped working right when I updated to Mavericks. What can I do to fix this?
Only 25 of the 32 keys are working. The last 7 keys are not. I tried to use it on both GarageBand and Logic Pro and it's all the same.

I resolved with a very cheap USB hub (a simple gadget I had at home, nothing professional...)

  • Hdmi sound on my mac mini has stopped working after I upgraded the OS

I just upgraded the iOS on my Core i5 Mac mini to 10.8.5 and my hdmi sound on my monitor stopped working. I have tried rebooting and adjusting the Audio midi settings and nothing seems to work. I know the mac mini speakers are working and the monitors speakers are working. What do I try next?

Resetting the NVRAM / PRAM, as per > About NVRAM and PRAM
    1. Shut down the computer.
    2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    3. Turn on the computer.
    4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
    5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    6. Release the keys.

  • N97 mini - vibration stopped working!

    hi!
    i need help ,
since friday the vibration of my n97 mini stopped working !
its really wierd , not vibrating anymore when i touch the screen and when i receivce calls
sometimes it works for a min but then stops again.
i know i shuold take it to a lab but im looking for a way to try and solve this myself.
in teh settings everything is fine and in order.
    waiting for help!
    thank you!!!

    try the following
NOTE: In front of the hash key ( #) there is also a STAR key that people often miss and state that the code does not work.
1.. *#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default ( you will not lose any data) Make sure you back up your data as you will lose all of it when you perform option 2 or 3 on this list. The default code for ALL operations listed here is 12345.
2.*#7370# - Reformat your phone (out of the box, tho keep in mind that most newer nokia phones at least n series, e series and s60 based phones have udp - user data preservation so not ALL data may be lost. still it is a good idea to always do a back up of your stuff.)3. This you perform as a last resort. Nothing else is working. If the phone is not showing any activity, proceed with hard formatting , turn off your phone, hold the following buttons while pressing the power button. (the default code is 12345)
    3. hard reset - hold the following buttons * (star key), 3 (number button) and talk/green key. turn on the phone and do not release those buttons until you see the Nokia boot up screen. once you feel the phone power up you can let go off the power button while still holding all three buttons ( for Nokia 5800XM - use the following buttons to do a hard reset, /GREEN/RED/CAMERA keys pressed all at once on power up. this will only work on 5800's that have firmware version 20... and up. ) For Nokia N97 (unofficial version but works) is SHIFT /SPACE BAR / BACKSPACE while holding the power button. Again do not let go until you see the handshake screen.
If these codes are not working the only thing for you to do is contact your Nokia Care Center/Service for assistance.
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.
    Now using the Lumia 1520

  • Mitsubhi HC6800 Projector stopped working

    Hi,
I have a home theater system that GS installed about one year back. The system is setup such that the denon receiver feeds in to the Mitsubhi HC6800 projector. I have three input sources that I typically use - BD, DVD & Cable. The projector recently stopped working and is showing a blue screen with a message "No Input". This has happened in the past and as such happens to be a problem with a lose cable connection or the input source on projector set incorrectly (HDMI2 instead of HDMI1). I have checked both the cable connections and the source and they seem to be fine. The video still doesn't show up & I still see a blue screen with "No Input" message. The audio is working fine. What could possibly be the problem? Any ideas?
    Thanks!
    Ashish

Did some troubleshooting. I can connect my laptop straight to the computer input on the projector and it works. However, when I connect my laptop through the VGA-HDMI convertor box to the projector (my laptop doesn't have HDMI port), then it doesn't work. Tried both HDMI ports on the projector. This could mean either the HDMI ports on the projector are bad (is that possible?) Or the convertor is bad. Also tried connecting the BD & Cable box directly to the projector (taking out receiver from the equation) into the HDMI port, and that doesn't work. The fact that the sound works means that the receiver is at least working partially right (the connection to the speakers comes straight from the receiver). However, I am not sure if the HDMI (output) port on the receiver is bad? Is that possible? Bottomline, I am not too sure whether it's the projector or the receiver or both at this point.
I will probably bring the projector to the store to get it checked. I was advised to do that since a service call would cost $100! Hate to unplug the receiver as it has got so many connections (especially to the speakers, i am afraid I'd mess them up if I disconnect!). BTW, how long is the warranty on a Denon receiver and the Mitsubishi projector? Thanks for your help!

  • Micromedia projector stopped working

Microsoft tells me that my problem is with Quicktime and directed me to Apple.
I have absolutely no idea where to start. Any info appreciated.

I have some software that I started having problems with in 2007. Finally it stopped working and the message was "Micromedia projector has stopped working." After your posting to my question I went into the "problem reports and solutions" section which comes from microsoft and they said that it was my quicktime that was causing the problem. That is all I have to go on about quicktime. I think possible Adobe is responsible for the micromedia projector as I was led there in investigating that area. Microsoft suggested I uninstall quicktime to solve the problem. I don't want to do that as I don't know what quicktime controls. Apparently quicktime was installed on my computer, but somehow it was not used/activated until a month or so after I had bought my computer. I was not on the internet at the time and I don't know what I did to activate it. I am not sure what quicktime does. If I uninstall it I have no way to re-intall it. The software is "Home improvement 1,2,3" (Home Depot) My version of quicktime is 5.0.1 and my computer says it was installed on 10-20-07
This is the extent of my knowledge on the subject. Wado

  • IPod - BMW Connector - Mine just stopped working???

My factory BMW/Ipod connector has worked perfectly up until last week (over 1yr). I don't recall updating any software on either my ipod or my itunes software recently.
It just stopped working. When it is plugged into the connector in my vehicle, it is recognizing the power source as it is charging the ipod, however my car won't recognize the ipod anymore.
If anyone has any suggestions on troubleshooting or history of the same thing happening, I would appreciate it!
    Thanks!

The same thing happened to me. I have a 40G click wheel model, and it suddenly stopped working. I took it in to MBW, and they said it was my Ipod. But the Ipod works in every other way. I also called BMW, but no help there either. So I tried my daughters 10G dock connector Ipod, and it works! So, I went on ebay and bought a 20G dock connector Ipod, and use it only in my car. Not a great solution, as BMW and Apple should work out this bug. But until then, I will use my backup Ipod, as it is only solution I could come up with. Hopefully it does not also stop working some day!!

  • S4 mini camera stopped working gives warning message "camera failed".

S4 mini keeps giving me a warning message "camera failed". I have rebooted several times and it still won't work anyway to fix this?

        shilo1109
Sorry to hear about the unexpected error with your camera! Let's work on getting this resolved for you today. Have you been able to clear the cache on your camera app? You can do this by going to Menu>Settings>Applications Manager>All tab>Camera. Then, tap Force Stop, Clear Data, and reboot your phone.

  • Mac Book Pro - Mac Mini; sharing stopped working after IP/Net change

I apologize in advance for the length of this, I've got a complex issue that I've been unable to diagnose with the usual published notes...
I have a Mac Book Pro and Mac Mini. I previously had sharing and screen sharing working between both systems.
About a month ago I switched internet providers (to AT&T U-verse) and their router required me to make major changes to my internal network as listed below.
Since those changes the Mac Book Pro can not access the Mac Mini in any way via Finder options, but still shows it in Finder->Sharing. I can access the Mini via shell access (telnet/ssh, ftp, www) but nothing via the normal automatic Bonjour type accesses (file sharing, screen sharing).
Conversely, the Mac Mini has no difficulty accessing the Mac Book Pro in any way.
List of the significant changes that were made:
    1) My main router was replaced by the AT&T router.
    2) The AT&T router does not allow any fixed IP addresses within the network, requiring all of my network shemes to get re-done (I used a mix of fixed and DHCP previously).
    3) The IP range changed for all computers due to the router.
    4) Both Mac Mini and Mac Book Pro were and still are on DHCP.
    5) The Mac Mini's wireless was disabled and it was plugged directly in to the Ethernet port on the main router.
The behavior of the system is as if the Mac Book Pro is locked on the old IP address (but only in the context of the Bonjour services). Although I can't prove this, there was a brief period where both the old and new router and ethernet and plugged connections were all active on the same network and during this period the Mac Book Pro accessed the Mini without difficulty (the old IP was bound to the wireless port on the Mini).
Unfortunately it wasn't until after I had exchanged this other router that I realized that things were not working correctly.
Another unusual clue, the Sharing used to say use afp://<mininame> to access from Windows and now it says afp://QVT_529. I have to assume this is something to do with the DHCP from the AT&T router but all of the AT&T system screens show the <mininame> properly bound to the active DHCP port and nothing hinting at what the QVT_529 references. Going to this address fails and I can't ping it from terminal.
I've been scouring the net for the last month trying different things with absolutely zero results on any front. All settings check out perfectly. No firewall changes were made. No evidence that anything is out of place.
However, I can still only connect in one direction. It just doesn't make sense.
Some things I don't know that I think might help me resolve the issue:
    1) Any recommendations with how I might be able to get a better view of what Mac Book Pro might be trying to connect to via the Finder->Sharing link to the computer?
    2) Any way to probe the Mac Mini's file or screen sharing features from the terminal (going around the Finder link)?
    3) Any possible issues with local networks that might interfere with these services? (there are several switches/hubs between and other devices on the network, but everything checks out at the IP flow level)
    Thanks in advance,
    Barney

This is just a stab in the dark since I haven't run into this and I don't know all the steps you have taken (or researched.)
It seems to me that since it is working right from the mini->MB Pro, then the problem should reside on the mini's broadcast side or the mini's OSX firewall. If your firewall is set correctly (as you said), my guess would be that network or firewall preferences have been corrupted by combining multiple, conflicting settings for the same preference due to hardware changes. If I was experiencing this (assuming that every setting on the routers/switches and the firewalls (router/OSX) etc were 100% correct), I would create a new user account and verify that the problem is still manifesting itself. If this solves the problem, I know it is the user account that is messed up and not the OS. If this doesn't solve the problem, I turn off any sharing services, delete the resident Locations (by the drop-down menu in the Network System Preference) as well as the list of Connections (left pane of Network SP) and restart the machine. I then set-up new network, sharing services and firewall settings after the restart. This has solved all of my network sharing issues on my equipment, home and work. (Permissions not with-standing.) If this hasn't solved my problem, my next step would be to reset NVRAM, PRAM and clean system caches (using OnyX.) Reinstall of OSX commences then. I don't know enough of UNIX to be comfortable in terminal so if my steps above failed, I would be coming here to ask or, if I thought the problem resided on non-Apple hardware, the offending hardware support channels.
I don't know if this helps, but I hope so.
    D.

  • Mac Mini antenna stopped working

I replaced the RAM in my Intel Mac Mini. In the process, the WiFi antenna popped out (from what I have found, this is not uncommon). I reconnected the antenna. Initially, I had only received weak, intermittent reception. Now I get no reception at all.
I reopened the Mini and confirmed the the antenna is properly connected, the wire is routed properly and the antenna is seated properly. I still get no reception although it does detect our wireless network. However, it times out trying to connect to it. I reset the PRAM but no luck.
Have I missed something or is my antenna fried? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not one of the more knowledgeable people here but would think that if does detect the wireless network the system is working. What may be the issuse is your Mac Mini authenticating itself to the network.
Check that both are using the same type encryption WEP, WPA, etc and that the password is correct - I have once in a while, though rarely, had to remove the old password from the Keychain and reenter the same thing to establish a connection. You also might try re-orienting the Mac Mini - I have noticed that at a great enough distance my MBP will recognize the WIFI in the house, giving me one bar, but will not connect and infact will timeout.
    Good luck,
    rhys
