the text that is across the top of my website is inactive when i publish. but in iweb it works just fine. Does anyone know how i can fix this issue?

I have a 2 inch gray bar across the top of my home page now after dragging a few windows around my desk top. I'm not sure if it's a mozilla thing or google thing but it just appeared and I would like to get rid of it. g

My home page is just www.google.com with a search box and a picture of some planets as a background from my computer. While I was dragging the restored down browser window, I slipped with my mouse and now I have a light gray two inch bar across the top of my background picture. It's below the; Search-Images-YouTube-News-Gmail-More icons. When I right click on it and select inspect Element (Q) it says div#gbx1.gbqfh in three different colors. I would like to get rid of it, but I don't know if it's a google or Mozilla issue. I know google has been changing things so it wouldn't surprise me if it was just a coincidence.

Is there any text in that gray bar?
I see some buttons on it, do they have a tooltip?

How can I change the font in the page menu across the top?

I would like to change the font and its color in the page menu across the top of the website I'm building. The inspector doesn't give me the option nor does the font menu.

If I'm on a website and they have a send to e-mail box, when I click the e-mail box the top of firefox starts blinking and a tabs with that e-mail go across the tops of screen, blinking continues until I have to shut computor down to restore.

How do I remove side bar and go back to tabbed browsing across the top of the screen?

I update firefox and was asked how I wanted tabs displayed. I orignally had new tabs opening across the top of the screen but changed a setting so they came up on the sidebar. I want to go back to tabs across the top of the screen but can't find how to do this.

The banner usually indicates that the memo is "Paused." If you go back into voice memos, touch the word "Done" beside the big red pause button, give it a name, then it will show in a list. Touch the memo in the list then touch the trash can icon that should appear.

about two to three weeks ago mozilla started to lag on occasion with the "not responding" message across the top of the browser. it would freeze while i was playing facebook games or while i was watching youtube videos or just trying to scroll down a page, so i used my laptop less and less hoping the rest period would help stop it from lagging and from not responding. now that i have uninstalled useless programs and freed up hard drive space it is still lagging a lot. i even updated to 9.01 and updated the plug-ins that i use and it still lags.

I downloaded a program to be able to open docx diles and now every time I try to open one there are endless new tabs that read "new Tab" scrollomig across the top of the screen. How do I make it stop?

I had an old version of office so I tried to install a free download that will allow me to open docx files. When I try to use Firefox Browser on my Samsung Note 3, the screen comes up white after the orange bar runs across the top. It worked yesterday.

March, 9th, 2015 -- My Samsung Note 3 is on AT&T wireless, but I Have Xfinity wi-fi at home. Firefox browser worked yesterday & last night. Today when I search it comes up with a blank white screen after the orange bar runs across the top & never loads anything (words or pictures). When I open the tabs in the side bar, it shows the pictures for them, but still only loads a white page after clicking actual link. It will not sync the last few saved bookmarks with my computer. I made sure that I have the latest android version installed, but It still does this even after uninstalling & re-installing & restarting the phone. AT&T had an update a couple of days ago & I've already talked with their tech support with no resolution. I don't know if there is conflict with AT&T's update & current Android Firefox browser. I use Week Cal on the iPod. I think it was only $1.99. It is a lot better and does a lot more than the one that came with the Palm Pilot.
As you know, unlike the Palm Pilot, the iPod does not come with a desktop application that you can sync your iPod calendar to. Since I don't use Outlook, I have to use a Cloud based calendar to sync with my PC. I use Hotmail's calendar for that. (If your computer is a MAC, you can use iCal)

Desktop appearance problem: For no apparent reason my Mac running OSX 10.4.11 imposed a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side where I have the dock. How do I remove it?

For no apparent reason my Mac (2 GHz PowerPC G5) running 10.4.11 has put a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also a band of the same pattern across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side over the dock. (See screen grabs below.)
It doesn't affect any operations but makes folder names and drop-down menus difficult to read through the pattern.

Example:- I've just spent 20 minutes looking how to 'translate' after I installed that add-on, there it was! A tiny little icon in the bottom right of the screen, I find the new set up very messy and very hard to navigate. Why can't I have the same set up on my toolbar that I've had for the last ten years? Thanks but you're only telling me stuff I already know, that dosen't explain how I get the new version of Firefox to look neat and tidy like it always used to. I can no longer have all my icons that I use, I can no longer access things as easily as I could and the whole thing looks very bare and basic now! A bigger mess than even Google Chrome.
I've spent most of this evening trying to get stuff back that is now lost because of this 'upgrade' and I'm now giving up with it. Well done! You've totally ruined what was the best browser for years.

In earlier versions of Windows (e.g. XP), whenever I changed the screen resolution on my computer to a lesser resolution in order to show the link icons on my desktop in a larger, more readable size, all the software programs, including yours, appeared on my screen with the menu bars in the larger font size that I needed.
However, in Windows 7, this is not the case. Even though I have selected the lowest resolution, making the icons on my desktop extremely large, I cannot read the options across the top menu bar of your program, nor the pull-down menu items that they contain. I cannot see the graphic depictions of options on the left side of the screen. They are all too small. How can I make your program increase the size?

How do I get rid of the thin line that goes across the top Persona background image.

There is a 1-pixel wide light grey line across the top Persona background image between the navigation toolbar and the bookmarks toolbar from left to right. Nomatter whatever persona I have installed, it is there. Same thing also when i hover on any other Persona at Getpersonas.com. It is not there when using any other program and not when only showing the desktop. Only when using FF4. My PC is a HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop using Windows Vista. This is not a monitor issue nor a graphic card issue since it only shows in FF.

for me, it happens on a maximized window. when i do restore to window, the line disappears.
