Text all jumbled together?

When I try to add text to my image in PhotoShop Elements 10, the font size I have set does not work, plus the letters are all stacked on top of each other. A screen shot of the problem is avalible below:
Can anyone explain what the issue is? This has happend before, and then It would go back to normal again... I don't know what to do about this issue.

With the text tool selected, click the arrow at the far left of its Options Bar and select "Reset Tool".

Text all jumbled together in collums

When I view a page that contains collums it is like there are no carriage returns in the text. It either continues offscree n or puts it all on top of each other.

Try these, and let us know how you're getting on, OK?
It's usually blogged up caches or font duplicates . . .
1. Empty your Safari cache & History settings via the Safari menu
2. Trash your Icons Folder:
HD>Users>Home>YourName>Library>Safari -->Icons
Restart Safari and a new folder will be automatically regenerated.
(This folder saves favicons of all the sites you visit. Needs cleaning periodically -- or you can change that file's preferences to "Read Only"
rather than "Read & Write." This will keep it from growing in size.)
3. You might want to check all three "auto" preferences in Safari. Sometimes those lists gets very long and need pruning. (I turned all autofill boxes off, and have no problems.)
4. Launch Font Book and check all fonts for duplicates. A duplicated font will have a bullet beside the font family and you can resolve duplicates by selecting the font and at the menu bar, go to Edit > Resolve Duplicates.
Do this for each font with a bullet next to it.
If you're still having problems:
5. Shut down your computer . . . unplug the computer, modem, and router, if you have one. Let everything sit for 2-3 minutes. Plug everything back in, start up your modem & router, then restart your computer.

UITextField text all runs together - how to format on different lines?

I have a UITextField I'm using for app information.
In the field, I separated lines with CNTL+RETURN, and when I look at the UITextField in the Interface Builder it looks fine.
But in the app itself, all the line breaks are gone and the text all runs together.
Is there some property or something I need to set in order to make sure the linefeeds are used?

in the viewcontroller implementation :
myTextView.text = @"I enter my text here using
to start a new line"; // ALL ON A SINGLE LINE ! !
myTextView would then display:
I enter my text here using
to start a new line
I write the string on a single line otherwise, I get some pbs...
So, sometimes, it's quite a long line !
The only thing I set up in IB is the text alignement, font, size and color...

Heading Text all cramped together

Other than "Date", the rest of the text are cramped together! Is there anyway to solve this problem?

I just gave my roommate my old phone and when I synced his phone, I saved them to the same place I save mine and they ended up merging together. Is there a way to save to the same place but each phone separate?

Okay, correction.......The contacts weren't jumbled, but all of my contacts were synced to his contacts. His contacts were erased. How do I get his contacts from his sim card to the phone instead of mine?

Just uploaded and converted my file using ExportPDF. Word file was created without issue. When it is opened all styles are maintained but text is jumbled:

SMS is exchanged over the same network as calls - no data involved.
MMS requires data.
iMessage requires the same as email - internet access via an available wi-fi network or via your carrier's cellular data network.
You can disable SMS/MMS altogther with your account by requesting this with AT&T. You can turn iMessage off unless your iPhone is connected to an available wi-fi network.

Yes you are right. I tried that but I did not get the result.
I just found the way. When we launch split signal, we should expand it (split signal icon) from above and not from below. It took me a while to figure out this.

New Text Messages Jumbled with Old Ones

I am on Verizon, and previously had the Samsung Galaxy S3. Shortly after the HTC One was released on VZW I picked it up. I've got a friend on T-Mobile who I text with a lot, probably 25 - 50 messages a day. Starting shortly after I got the HTC one she started getting new messages merged and "jumbled" as we call it together with old messages. Messages that weren't even sent with my HTC one - they were sent from my old Samsung. This leads me to believe it's got to be that VZW somehow has these old messages on their servers, and they are somehow matching (ID's or however they are stored) with the new ones and merging together.
At first this was happening maybe once a week or so, at this point it's happening multiple times a day. What's interesting is that it's certainly content based. I'll send her a text and she will reply back "jumbled message" - if I copy and paste that same message she will get it all jumbled up over and over - every time I send that same content. I end up either screen shotting and emailing her, or I'll re-word the message. Now I'll give an example of what happens:
Original Message: I'm not really sure, I'll have to check with him in the morning. Do you mind waiting until then?
New Message: Haha, sure... I'll get right on that... nope
That New Message won't get sent correctly, instead what she will receive is:
Jumbled Message: Haha, sure... I'll get right on that... nope him in the morning. Do you mind waiting until then?
OR
Jumbled Message: I'm not really sure, I'll have to check with him in the morning. Do sure... I'll get right on that... nope
I haven't seen a rhyme or reason as to whether it places the old first or the new first... and though my example was with a short message I *believe* they have all been with long (160+) character messages.
Additional: I've used Handcent SMS with both of these phones, she uses GoSMS (though they show up jumbled in her default app as well). T-Mobile displays the message whole, not chopped into 160 blocks.
Help!?

What I'd like to point out is this. If I'm using the stock messaging application - and my messages are getting mixed together with messages I sent over 6 months ago from a DIFFERENT phone, how can the issue be phone related at all? I don't see a way that this isn't somehow on the verizon server side. I believe that when the server splits up multi-part messages (over 160 characters) and puts them back together it's somehow putting them together with old message parts stored / cached on the server side.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Text getting jumbled

i have a vendor working on a mac through an online system where she enters info into a webform then prints the entire thing to pdf. i have about 100 other vendors who do this with no issues, but all are on pc's, although i dont think the OS is the problem. whenever i try to edit a pdf printed down from this persons webform and then edit it for my business the text gets jumbled at various stages. It can happen when saving, copying something from one page to another, putting any text in at all. I dont notice the jumble right away but when i move to another page from the one i was editing, then i see the issues. Acrobat is completely updated working on windows 7 64 bit that is completely up to date as well. we are using IE8,9 and the most recent version of Firefox to test but this happens on every machine we try. Can anyone help?

If I understand - there is a fillable pdf hosted online, or there is a webased submission which is funneling the data into a pdf.
That pdf has a default font assinged for the fields.

That print engine may be able to embedd the fonts complete. Change the "Subset when fonts used is less than" to 0%

Iweb pages all jumbled

After a period of NOT updating website........open to find text on one website all jumbled up. Website appears OK online........but not sure what to do and/or how to change.
Have a couple other websites that appear OK

Try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
3 - launch iWeb and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

I have my ipad, iphone, and macbook pro all synced together. I receive all my emails on the macbook and iphone just fine, but don't receive all emails on my ipad. Some go to Trash because it says they're improperly formatted. What gives?

I receive all emails from senders in my address book in my Macbook Pro and iPhone, but some end up in Trash on my iPad, with the message, "This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program. text/plain" They appear to be mainly from competing platforms, android, etc. Is there a workaround for this problem?

If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

I am about to give scripting a shot but seriously it looks way to confusing compared to stories, I have several sub menus and in each sub menu I have a play all story, however what I also want to do is create a PLAY ALL from the main menu, any suggestions

Duplicate all your stories, have a menu item with duplicate story 1 as the target, and set the end jump of duplicate story 1 to duplicate story 2, etc. Shouldn't that work? There may be a simpler way, but
As far as adding documents, The simplest way is to build in dvdsp and then add a folder containing the docs to the project folder that dvdsp has created and use toast to burn it. There may be a rule for naming this folder, but can't remember it at the moment.

There's more to it than that.
Folders in Aperture do not hold Images. They hold Projects and Albums. You cannot put an Image in a Folder without putting it in a Project or an Album inside that Folder.
The relationship between Projects and Images is special: every Image must in a Project, and can be in only one Project.
Images can be in as many Albums you want. Putting an Image in an Album does not move it from the Project that holds it.
You can make as many Versions from a Master as you want.
What you want to do may appear simple to you, but it still much adhere to how Aperture works. I still can't tell exactly what you are trying to do (specifically: Images don't live in Folders; moving an Image from a Folder is non-sensical).
It can be very confusing (and frustrating) to get going with Aperture -- but it does work, and can be enormously helpful. If you haven't, take a look at the video tutorials on Apple's Aperture support site.
I feel as though I haven't helped you much -- but we need to be using the same names for interface items in order to get anything done -- and my sense is that you still haven't learned the names of the parts.
