Text becomes pixally after I hit "apply".
I am LOVIN' iMOVIE HD!
But, I am having trouble with some text. I am trying to create a simple black clip in "Editing" using "Titles" with some red "rights reserved 2006" text in it. Well, it looks fine when I type it out and preview it, but when I hit "Apply", it becomes very pixelated.
Why would that be? What am I doing wrong?

in addition to cat's excellent advice:
you don't see the final quality of your movie on your computer.
in iM's prefs you find some checkbox about speed & pic quality.... but that is for the app only, not the final, exported movie...
so, make a quick test, share to camera (have you seen that "selected clips only" checkbox in the export dialog…?) and watch tape on telly...
or, for the advanced user, iM offers a "live play through" feature, needs some space on your desk: connect camera to Mac via firewire; connect a TV via analogue to your camera; set checkbox in iM's pref… now, you see, when hitting "play" in iM, your project "live" on a TV in its final, shiny quality....
esp. for your problem this is an excellent feature.... as Cat mentioned, some colors, fonts and sizes are looking... well, "not so good"...

Text color changes after render while using timecode generator/VF tool

I'm having a problem with the timecode generator/viewfinder tool. When I have both a Gaussian Blur (set on something other than Alpha + RGB) and a VF or Timecode generator effect in the filters, it seems to create a bug where the color I want for the viewfinder (REC) text shows up correctly pre-render, but changes to an arbitrary color after the render. I am trying to share selected photos from my Mac to my I Pad.I went into I-Tunes and followed the instructions and am fine until it says to hit apply....which I do and nothing happens. I can't seem to highlight the I Pad "device" logo on the (left side of the I-Tunes) list to be able to share the photos. (I still want to keep them in my Mac, also). At the bottom of the instructions to accomplish this it says Universal Access...should I click on that? And what is it? Should I be selecting synch thru wi-fi?
Eject the iPad if necessary, quit iTunes and restart your Mac.
Connect the iPad to your Mac with the cable and launch iTunes. Now see if you can click on the iPad name on the left side of iTunes. If you can, go into the photos tab of iTunes in the window on the right and make sure that the Sync Photos heading is checked. Then select the folder form which you want to sync photos - maybe iPhoto on your Mac? Then select all of the albums, events, faces - however you have them set up - then click on Apply. See if that works.
The photos will still be on your Mac after you sync. Do not click on Universal Access - you don't need that to sync.

Text sound disapeared after software update
I recently upgraded my phone software and lost my text message alert notifications. I am receiving all other alerts. I am on call for three different emergency response organizations I need this fixed now! I have viewed other post about this issue, the only thing you have told people is to factory reset their phones, this is unacceptable! What other options do I have? Taking my phone back to zero is not one of them! I also lost the ability to SWYPE input for text and email.
After upgrading your stock ROM you always need to do a factory data reset, if your phone doesn't do it for you. Then you can simply choose which sounds you want for the notification in the settings. You can download the Swype keyboard, or several various similar to Swype, from the Play Store. I liked Kii and used it for a long time.

Excel Table with Data Connection Manual Text Entry Misaligned After Refresh

I have an Excel 2010 workbook that includes a table linked to my SharePoint 2013 site by a data connection. The SharePoint list feeds the table standard information that's managed on the SharePoint site, but I need the user of the Excel workbook to be able
to enter text manually in the workbook to associate local information with the line-items coming from the SharePoint list. To do this, I've added extra columns to the end of the table.
The user can enter information in the appropriate cells in the "extra" columns at the end of the table, but when I refresh the data connection, the addition of a new list item on the SharePoint side results in the user's manually entered text getting
out of alignment with the row it's supposed to be associated with.

Then, if I add a new item to the list in SharePoint, for example, something that would appear between the original items 1 & 2, after refreshing the table, I get the following:

The table's data connection is set to insert rows for new items, and I could swear I had this working properly once upon a time...but I can't seem to make it work now.

When I try to setup my new iPad air, I go through all the steps for the iCloud sign-in and choosing security questions and what not. But after I hit the agree to the terms and conditions... It says Apple ID could not be created because of a server error. Have no clue what to do... I've restarted the iPad and get the same message. But my internet works just fine.

I have a few problems...
I wanted to make a partition to install windows, I tried to use bootcamp 5 where it wanted to partition and install windows at the same time. I do not have a cd of windows but instead had it on a flash drive. Bootcamp couldn't find it. Instead I was reading forums and found that there was another way to install windows by partioning your harddrive using the disk utility, downloading the bootcamp drivers, and installing rEFIt (an app that when starting the compouter a menu would come up to boot windows from the flashdrive). I try that and the windows install screen gets me to the point where I pick a partition. I attempt to pick the partitioned drive but a message comes up telling me that "this is of the GPT partition style" and windows cannot be installed on the drive.
So now I went back to disk utility and deleted the partition but there is still blank space. I wanted to retry and install windows through bootcamp (somehow) but a message comes up that there cannot be any partitions or that a partition must be created using bootcamp. SO i keep trying to drag the partition over the blank space and hit apply but nothing happens.
By the way I was trying to install windows 8 pro, some forums would say that you cant install win8 however I found others that said you could. How do I fix my partition and how do I use bootcamp to install windows (preferrably 8)?Csound1 What Ive been trying to explain is that I have been running bootcamp, I open the app where the first screen is the introduction, i hit continue, the first time I select "download the latest windows support software fromm Apple" then I return and instead select "Install Windows 7." Then hit continue. The third screen is where I "Create a Partition for Windows" I set Windows to 80 gigs then hit INSTALL. As stated before Bootcamp cannot find the install drivers saying "The installer disc could not be found." My windows software is on a USB drive not a disc, I tried using a virtual disc reader to make it appear that the windows software was running on a disc, still no luck. What I would like to know is how to install windows on bootcamp.

OS X partition becomes corrupt after switching from Bootcamp
So I've had to reinstall os x 10.9.1 no less than three times this week and multiple times before in the past after switching between os x and windows 8.1. This usually happens after I've been using windows for a prolonged period then switch back to os x but it happened today after reinstalling os x from a time machine backup just yesterday. I'll switch between the two and os x becomes corrupt and begins the loading bar sequence after selecting the os x partition via the refit boot manager. I tried repairing the partition using disk utility from the repair partition and an external installation of os x 10.9.1 but every time the disk becomes corrupt and needs to be wiped and reinstalled or install a time machine backup. I've lost count of how many times I've had to do this and to make things even worse both of my external disks have become corrupt after being disconnected for two days while I sort this mess out. Does anyone else have similar issues or can locate an issue somewhere?
Yeah I reinstalled osx 10.9.1 and installed all my apps, put everything back then used bootcamp to create a partition for windows then used wineclone to install my windows 8.1 backup. I jumped from windows > osx > windows > osx inside an hour to move around a few things and I forgot verify bootcamp after I installed the backup and that last time I booted to osx it was corrupted. I used disk utility from my external installation and the recovery partition and both times they need repaired which only came up with the backup and wipe notification window. There have been two occasions where I was able to fix the osx partition from my external osx installation and continue using osx quite perfectly but usually the partition becomes un-mountable after it fails to repair. Usually when this has happened the twenty something times before it's after a prolonged period of a few weeks using windows.
I'm using refit boot manager and paragon NTFS 11 which may be the only software I've installed that could be corrupting the boot.

A text file has to be zipped .I have used the class method CL_ABAP_ZIP-SAVE() to create a zip file in the application server. The zip file is double clicked and the text file is opened.
The formatting is lost in the text file, got after zipping.
Please let me know how I maintain the formatting in the zip file.

When I connect my iPod touch to my computer, I have a list of Events on my iTunes-iPod-Photos. I want to erase these Events. However, the photos are NOT on my MacBook Air-iPhoto. When I check one of the Events and then hit Apply, the photos appear on my iPod. And one last thing: When I connect the iPod and open iPhoto, iPhoto tries to load New Photos (I think), but nothing happens. Any ideas?

I have anipod classic 5th gen, it is synced to another pc it has 700 songs I don't want to lose, In itunes I said cancel when the sync and erase window poped up,I selected manually manage my ipod hit apply, pc locks up had to ctrl alt delete. what else can I do? DoI have to sync the ipod? DoI have to reset the ipod?
Copy all the contents currently on your iPod Classic to your new iTunes library and then choose the Erase and Sync option. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

Just thought I'd add my solution, I decided to go with WebDAV and I think it actually works better than the iTunes way, the steps are pretty much the same but avoiding the iTunes interface just makes things easier and faster.
I followed this guide but it does have a small mistake in the httpd-dav.conf file, on line 2, where it's WebServer/WebDAV">, it should be <Directory "/Library/WebServer/WebDAV">.
The tricky part is setting permissions which if wrong will give you errors when connecting with the iPad, I opted to set all to Read&Write since my home network has a hardware firewall. Another convenience was to add an alias to the webdav share on the Desktop.
I'm still expecting the call from Apple but even if they fix the iTunes I'm sticking with WebDAV, atleast until I see what's new with iOS5 and iCloud this fall which should bring true sync for documents (I'm hoping that they will offer encryption with my own keys, if not, then I'll probably keep using WebDAV). -
Sharp Photo When Placed in Indesign, Text becomes Blurry...

Right-click on the image to change the display performance of only that image, or use the View menu to change the Display Performance of the document. Higher display quality generally slows the program down, although it can be slight. If the text is a text layer in Photoshop consider saving as Photoshop PDF. This will keep the file fully editable in Photoshop but the text will be vector paths in the PDF, rather then rendered raster art at the image's resolution.

I'm having problem with text boxes. Whenever i hit the enter button to start a new line or paragraph, the cursor doesn't drop down to the next line. Instead i get this little red + sign in the box.

When I copy and paste text in facebook, the text looks fine until I hit 'share' or 'comment' to submit it. Firefox then adds indiscriminate line-feeds within the text and it looks nothing like the original text. It makes it very difficult to read and awful to look at.
This does not happen in Safari.
(Mac OSX 10.6.4 with Firefox 3.6.6).

http://Same problem, 3.6.8 and previous recent versions. I never thought to try another browser but I just pasted into IE and it worked fine. I copied from Firefox to IE and it worked as well. It's just when you paste into Firefox that you get the weird line breaks.
