Text boxes drop downs on my IMac are flickering

I cannot log into some websites because the login box keeps flickering and will not allow me to type in the box.

Hi,
On the iPhone > Settings > Messages.
Remove the Apple ID
Then place the iPhone in Airplane mode to Break with the Server for a few mins.
On taking the iPhone out of Airplane mode go back to Settings > Messages and check the Phone Number is ticked (Active).
If it is add back the Apple ID.
The Mac version should now get a pop Up or two to say the iPhone is using the Apple ID and the iPhone number.

Bold text in drop down?

Hi all
Can we set bold text to drop down values. I am using drop down in table column. I want bold text at the time of defining values to dropdown or after selecting a value from drop down. Finally after selecting a value i want to display that text as BOLD. Could any help?

Blog text box shifts down

My blog entry pages do not diaplay correctly. The text box shifts down, leaving the browser background at top. I'm using "white" iweb template. Other pages display OK.

It was not selected to begin with. I tried adjusting the file with and without that feature selected and the result was the same. They still shifted. Could it be something else?

Importing Value/Text into drop down menu Binding tab

I did this before and I can't for the life of me remember how I did it. I need to be able to replace the text in the Value and Text areas (as shown below) with updated text. I don't think I did it using Data binding. Seems like I was able to use either an .xml or .csv file and copy and paste it and I got the result I needed.
I am splitting the Value among multiple fields. I know this was not entered manually as there are about 5000 entries. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If the Clip board has copied one column(ex: excel sheet) it will copy all the rows as values "Text" of the drop down ONLY.
If the Clip board has copied 2 columns the first column goes in to "Text" and the second column goes into"Value". By default the it will be checked the "Specify item values" check box too.
All you need here is:
1.format text and values in to 2 separate columns to populate the dropdown. (can use excel features to generate the spreadsheet. This step output should be in 2 columns only to go in to text and values of DD).
2. place a dropdown field (no properties changes required on any TAB(ex: binding))
3. copy the 2 columns from the spreadsheet and paste it using the "paste from clipboard" under "Field" tab
4. now check the binding tab, should be there both values and text for all the entries provided by spread sheet.

No text in drop down menus!

My computer seems to be working fine except that the drop down menus show no text. In any application. I can't shutdown my computer because just empty boxes show up under the apple icon, "File" "Edit" etc.
I have restarted my computer three times and this problem has continued.
It started when I was listening to iTunes and checking my gmail when all of a sudden iTunes stopped, shutdown, and an alert box appeared with an orange triangle with an exclamation point in it, and three buttons. Only problem was there were no words in the box! And no words on the buttons. I clicked the blinking blue button, and iTunes restarted. I decided to restart my computer and discovered there were no words in the drop down portions of the menu bar. Any alertboxes that appear too, have no words in them, and I have to guess at what each button means.
Please help!!

If the symptoms you state exist also while booted from the Installer Disc,
the problem may be more than a font. Since the system would be by-passed
completely and you'd be running from the booted installer disc media, the
menubars should work fine. You could run Disk Utility from the optical disc
(first disc of OSX install is bootable) and by holding the C key down all the
while you wait. With OSX 10.4, you get a fairly good Disk Utility and you
can run it to see if a "repair disk" cycle would show you any error messages
and then re-run the repair to see if it can be fixed.
The issue may just be a permissions issue and lack of routine
maintenance; unless the corruption is beyond basic repairs and
outside of what Disk Warrior, Drive Genius, or TechTool can do.
I'd try the OSX bootable installer's Disk Utility, first. A low-level
error or corruption on the hard drive may require starting over
from scratch; and D.U. can be used to start over.
If it is just a main user account issue, and if you can't use the
Admin account to make a second user account with Admin
privileges, you may have to do a system-wide restore; and
use the Installer to "archive and install" a new system to
check and see if that gives you all the menus. The whole thing
no matter which of the ways suggested, isn't that hard to try
and troubleshoot. The means to fix it are already at hand;
easier still if you don't care if you lose what's on the hard drive.
You may need to see what extent this situation exists and then maybe
plan on buying a third party disk utility to see if it can fix the problems, or
just plan on totally erasing the hard drive and use the booted disk utility to
zero the hard drive and reformat it, and do an all new installation from there.
And lose all your stuff saved on the hard drive. This is the last choice;
and if you did not back up your stuff to some other drive or media, it
would be lost. But this could make your Mac run like new again.

How to populate both key and text in drop down list in dialog prog screen

Drop down menu issues - "you are here" indicator disappears, and other concerns

I've been working to make a drop down menu in DW CC for days and have a lot of problems that still need resolution:
1) I want the pages to clearly indicate "you are here" but can't get the color change or text pop-up to stay put on the secondary pages, nor does the background color work properly. It used to but somewhere along the line I managed to screw it up.
2) The inline list is backwards! The order of the top-level nav, as is listed in the code, should be: Organize - Preserve - Disseminate - About Me.
3) The top level navigation links aren't working. I think this has to do with my nesting structure between my local files and remote server, as I had a problem with that for another recent assignment.

Drop Down Menus in iTunesConnect are non functional

When I login to iTunesConnect (tried multiple browsers, clearing cache, etc) it says I have to approve the contract. When I go to contracts it says I have to chose a legal entity from the drop down menu. The menu is empty. When I try to add myself to the menu, it says I've already been added and I should choose myself from the drop down menu.
When I go to contact us, there is a drop down menu asking what the nature of my inquiry is. The menu is blank.
There is no place on iTunesConnect to submit a book for publishing. (Maybe this option appears after the contract has been approved?)
Nowhere in iTunesConnect are the drop down menus populated. They are all empty. And, therefore, completely useless.
What should I do?
(My iTunesConnect, by the way, if that's necessary information.)

Apart from your other problems.... if you are using iBooksAuthor - you do not "publish" using iTunesConnect.
You use iTunesProducer which can be downloaded from your iTunesConnect > Delivery your Content page.. but not until after December28th.
On the missing functions in Drop Down menus, unless you have a fault of corrupted files... greyed out items in Drop Down menu usually indicate its because their part of a procedure is not open for you to use because an early part of the process is not yet submitted.
Apple are shut down until after the 28th of December, so that's is also another reason the menu items are not available. You will need to wait a few days and check again.
BTW.. although they have been edited out... its not advisable to put on display any account information that could help the unscrupulous to gain advantage.

Giving Text boxes the properties of buttons they are on top of?

I am trying to create buy now buttons in adobe muse. But when I set my various roll overs for each button, the text box over rides it in preview mode. Is there a way to embeed the text into the button to give it the buttons properties? the roll over works fine on the outter edges of the button but once i hit the text box it goes away and i also lose the link. thanks!

Hi,
It sounds like you have a text frame on top of another page item: a rectangle, image, or a "Photoshop" button.
You should be able to the eliminate these page items and style the text frames themselves as buttons.
You can apply the standard attributes (stroke/fill/background image/rounded corners/opacity etc.) to text frames and use different state-specific values for each.
For a future release, we are considering implementing a widget that imparts its state (e.g., rollover) to all the contained page items.

How do I allow users to enter text into drop down menu

I have created a form with a drop down menu but I want users to be able to enter thier own text into the field if they do not see the option they want.

It sounds like you're creating the form in FormsCentral. This isn't an option in FormsCentral, but if you save the form as PDF you can edit the field in Acrobat and you'll see the option that Bernd mentioned. In order to edit the form in Acrobat, you have to removed the usage rights by opening the PDF in Acrobat and selecting: File > Save A Copy
and then open the copy.

Text Tool Drop-Down Font Menu can't be opened in PSE 9 & 10.

Hi all, in PSE 9 and 10 I can't get the Font Drop-Down Menu to work. It is stuck on one Font. When I hit the drop-down arrow there is a flash of the menu but it wont stay on screen so as to allow me to make a selection of a different Font. How do I correct this problem? TIA, Ed Weidman

You need to use the optimizer to set the version you want the pdf to be saved as.

I inserted (and sized) a text box on a page.
Now I want to duplicate and repeat the same size box over and over again in any direction.
There must be a way....right?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Select the original box and type Command-D (duplicate). Move the copy to where you want. Then select the copy and type Command-D again. The next copy will be located in relation to copy 1 as copy 1 was to the original. Keep typing Command-D until you get the number you want.

While using email why won't the cursor drop down into the compose area of the email

While using my default browser firefox, I am unable to type in the "compose" section. I can type the address I want to send to and the subject but after that my cursor will not show up in the compose section. The cursor just will not go there.
If I change and use explorer I don't have this problem. I do not want to use explorer so please help me if you can

Can you use the tab key too reach that text area?
What element gets selected if you right-click that compose section and select Inspect Element to open the Inspector?
