Text_Determination_in_Pricing?

I want to know that when we define a new Condition type while customising Sales and Distribution , then there is this Text Determination block  wherin we define the Text Determination Procedure and Text ID.
What is the practical usage of this and where do we define it?

Hi,
Text determination in SAP enables the flow of information from master data to Transaction documents and between transaction documents. At the same time, it helps in building the relevancy of text in the context of the document.
Let me explain with some simple example:
Standard delivery instruction from the customer can be maintained in the Customer master data which will be passed onto all the Sales orders created for this customer;
Some specific request from the customer pertaining to a single sales order can be captured in the SO - which will be seen by the Shipping dept through the dely document (though they are physically far away) - thus avoiding any human errors of "Forgot to pass on the message to shipping dept" scenarios!!!
Now, there are some specific messages related to the Quality aspects of a Material - which can be maintained in the material master - this has no relevance to a sales order or a material document created in the system - so, this text will not be passed on to these kind of documents instead to some QM documents.
All this are enabled through the Text determination procedure - And I am yet to come across a client which has customised this part - I mean, the Standard SAP is more than enough to achieve desired results!
