Text Generator button won't work

I am in the middle of getting a project done for this Monday. Last night, I was able to use the text generator button in the viewer. Today, it won't work. What have I done to disengage it? Help is needed quickly.

Yes, it is a drop-down menu and when I clicked on it, nothing happened—not even the tool tip. However, I just figured out the problem. Somehow, late last night when I was working, the cat began walking on the computer desk and keyboard. In my haste to get him out of the way, I must have clicked on the choice to show my preferred transitions and such only. I had been exploring some of the menus looking for a feature I couldn't remember how to access. Once I clicked on show all just now, I was back in business. Before I did that, I couldn't see any of the transition choices or other options under Effects. Whew, that's a relief. Now, keep your fingers crossed there are enough hours left in this weekend for me to finish this project before I have to show the presentation on Monday night. Off to get more coffee. Can't send text, send button won't work

I just bought a new iphone4 and when I try to send a text the send button won't respond. Everything else seems ok. It worked for the first couple of days.

have you restarted your phone, hold in the home button and the power button in until the apple symbol reappears.
usually a restart sorts things like that out

(I'm resubmitting this discussion as I wrote the wrong version of IE in my last post).
Hoping someone can help
At the moment I am using 'swap image' to change the text that appears within one container when I hover over different buttons.
I am using images of text rather than text itself because I have found that the 'set text of container' won't work when tested in IE8 (which is important for me). This makes the page much slower to load than it should be.
It works perfectly in Firefox and Safari but not in IE8.

Good News!
There is no problem in any version of IE on a windows based machine.

2 buttons won't work that were created exactly like a many others that work.

I am using Flash CS4 with actionscript 2 to create an interacitve portfolio. I have 2 text buttons that work when I test them with "enable simple buttons." When I publish to IE these buttons won't work. I have created over 50 buttons using the same methods, they all work. Any idea what might be wrong?

I have attached an edited version which shows working buttons and the ones we are having trouble with.
If you publish this in IE, the only button that will work is the last one on the entry page ("Writing"). This is because I have deleted all the other info to reduce the file size
On the next page the "Blog Excerpts" and "English Notebook" links are the ones that have been configured but do not work. The "Home" page on top does work. As you can see, the buttons have all been created the same way.

Vertical scrolling with TrackPoint's middle button won't work on MS Word

Question:
I have a T42 ThinkPad and the vertical scrolling with TrackPoint's middle button won't work on MS Word and therefore not in my email either. Big pain in butt as I'm so used to using it. Are there any patches that fix that? Any ideas on why it won't work?

It's really weird. My suggestion would be that you install the most up-to-date driver by direct downloading or via System Update (if you haven't updated the driver).

My home button won't work

My husband's I-pad has been playing up! His home button won't work, and this keeps happening.

My lock button won't work, every time I click it it won't lock my screen unless I press the button hard enough and or in a weird gesture, how can I fix this where I don't need to struggle locking it?

Have you checked if the Hold switched is not in locked position? (should not see the red mark)

I just installed iOS 6.1.5 and now my power button won't work

My music button won't work.

updated my iphone to ios7 and everything was fine. but when i tried to use the music buttons to skip/play songs, the buttons won't work. as in i'm not able to skip or play a song. i have to go to the music icon and do it from there. can someone help?

Ipod power button won't work

As of late, my power button is acting weird. Either when you press the power button it won't turn on.. or it will.. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't..
To get it to turn off if the power button won't work, I'll just drain the battery. Anybody know anything to help?

That's a hardware problem. Apple doesn't repair it. If there is no sign of abuse (don't try to fix it yourself), they replace it with a refurbished unit. The fixed-price for non-warranty replacements can be found here.

Besides resetting the iPod, have you attempted restoring it? You can do that by clicking the "Restore" button on the the iPod's Summary page in iTunes.
Assuming that doesn't work, you can check your [warranty status|https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do] to see if you are still covered for hardware repair. I doubt any 30GB iPods are still under warranty, since they were discontinued over two years ago, but you said you got it in March 2009 - did you purchase it used?
Whether it's under warranty or not, you can always make a Genius Bar appointment at your closest Apple Store and see if they have any other suggestions, free of charge. If it's a hardware problem, they can replace the iPod for you, but there would be a charge to do so if you're out of warranty.

Rent movie button won't work. Just downloaded a movie and trying to rent a second movie.

Ok, the whole scene has a simple loop to keep it running..
The first button has:

The button on the external swf has:

loadMovie("project_games.swf",1); //I have a swf for the original scene to connect the external swf directly with it, rather the whole project swf
The other button in my original scene (the one that doesn't work after the use of the above two):
