Text in a report

Hi Gurus,
My reports displays column x, y , z
my specification is if column x and y displays zero (0)
then display a text (ttttttttttttttttttttttt) under them
I m confused as i dont know if i would create a new frame for the text display
or not and which of the triggers will i put this function.
this spec is for an invoice

You don't have to create a new frame for that. Create a text (boilerplate object) in the same frame where you have x,y and in that boilerplate object's format trigger write something like this
begin
if nvl(:x,0)=0 and nvl(:y,0)=0 then
return true;
else
return false;
end;
