Text in project appears as wrong language

while doing a card project, I observed that the works inside the card - are in a language I can't read. How do I fix that.
The front of the card says Seasons Greetings
The inside of the card says:
Lorem Ipsum Dolor Sit Amet
Mus cusa quiatem oluptam UST's
moose Esc sum cuptati
Nam, at veni rehenti aut im int.
Nemque rempor remolut re exerume

It would have made more sense to put words in english that say - replace this text with your own text, words, or thoughts. Or - this is a text box for you to enter your own words.
You may think so, but this has been customary practice for a whole lot of apps for a long time now, so probably best to get used to it. Or you can ask Apple to change here:

Text track showing up in wrong language!

I am truly flummoxed. I am making a simple QT slide show for my website, and want to add captions to the photos. I followed all QT Help instructions, yet
1)the captions show up in an Asian alphabet!! The language code is correctly set to English - 0.
2) Only half the captions import, in spite of my selecting all. There are no line breaks or odd characters at the point they stop.
Come to think of it, the language went awry after that original export. I've check the track parameters in the properties window when the text track is in, ensuring that "English" is selected.

Still trying to get the captions at bottom. Interestingly, when they were in Japanese, they were at bottom. Now they are at top, and the black background cuts off some of the pictures. I tried simply going to keyed text, but it was hard to read here and there, so...
The original was {0,0,25,640} Here is the whole current set of parameters:

Why is the wrong language appearing in various iCloud communications?

I get emails from iTunes, first welcoming me to iTunes and more annoyingly the notification of a shared photostream are in the wrong language. It's not a big deal with a regular emails, I can ignore them. But the notification of the shared photossteam from the iPad is not good. My friend replied he didn't understand Korean. :-)
This has been ongoing and few people have complained, I found it amusing until I tried to share a Photo Stream.
I checked all of my devices, everything is set to the US. The address and credit card is a US address. I signed out of everything, I really mean every instance of my Apple ID on every device was signed out. I powered all of them off and signed back in to just the iPad sent an invitation to myself and what resulted was the screen shot I attached.
Now, if there are no suggestions, (I'm doubt there will be), how do I inform Apple of this problem?

Text Elements not appearing

Hi All,
I created a report and maintained the text elements in English and De languages. For some fields, I maintained the text elements only in English language. So when I login in DE language, the text elements which I had maintained in english language are not appearing. Those fields are blank in the selection screen. Does it needs to be maintained in DE lang? Please assist.

Yes u need to maintain in DE language also.
If u wnat the same text i.e english text in DE also then use maenu as GOTO.........>TEXT ELEMENTS---->SELECTION TEXT
Now GOTO-------> TRANSALTION giva langauge as DE
and transalte one by one all athe Text element and activate.
YOu can see all the fields in DE login.'

Some of my apps are with wrong language. Spotify is on holland and sleep cycle are on Chinese? Is there a way to change this ?

You should try setting your general system language to English, followed by setting it to Dutch again. Fixed it for me. Apps that don't have a translation to Dutch (at least that's what i'm guessing) now appear in English (which I think is fine). So before this 'fix' the phone must have somehow thought Chinese was my second language...

Opening templates, wrong language - need english

I am opening templates in iAuthor and am getting the wrong language.
I need english.
Anyone have a tip of what I need to do in order to fix this?
My lion OS is set with English as default.

Good to know nothing broken, but seems it could be a nice way to have template and then some tips on how to use the feature.
Some seem very easy to use and others not so. Like 3D and views.
Just played with Views more and ignored the text, so think I got it.
Seems to have lots of features, but many are from other products so seems like once you find out iAuthor can do the feature it is easy to implement.
I'm currently just playing around with all the features and creating test pages.
Very cool concept.

Impossible to uninstall v16. Automatically re-installs with wrong language (afrikaans) despite manual uninstall of rem Moreover keeps freezing windows explorer.

I Downloaded and installed v17 beta on my desktop (W7/64). OK
I noticed later that the version had changed without doing anything (moved back to v16.0.2, and displayed in Afrikaans).
Note that a second drawer is installed under Program files X86 (Mozilla maintenance service)
I uninstalled both drawers (Firefox & mozilla maintenance service) several times through windows control panel.
Every times remain some leftovers (e.g desktop icon, and the drawers listed above , but they are generally empty)
I tried cleaning registry afterwards (Tuneup utilities, Ccleaner) and even reboot the machine)
And it's always the same story: Firefox icon re-appears on my desktop, and can be normally opened . The software is always displayed in afrikaan language .
Moreover, I noticed (when I try to open the drawer (program files X86) that windows explorer freezes.
I had same problems on 2 windows 7 partitions, same computer. But never under windows 8
I really could do with a bit of help. It looks as though this piece of software is corrupt, and I really don't understand how it can manage to reappear a couple of minutes after being uninstalled .
Otherwise it's not a genuine Firefox version ?

I made screenshots of unistall/cleaning/opening process if that's of any interest to you But I can't attach a file!

The maintenance service runs as a background Window service if necessary and is responsible for downloading and applying an update for all installed Firefox versions without the need to respond to an UAC confirmation that comes with a dimmed window. You only need to give permission once when you install Firefox and the maintenance service isn't installed yet.
If the Firefox user interface (menu bar) is in the wrong language or if you want to change the current language then you can get Firefox in the language of your choice here:

... is represented in the wrong language. I did use 'report a concern' function several times because its language is Dutch.
But nothing happened. The first time I reported this about a month ago.

Try going to the very bottom, and there should be a little bar saying iTunes Francaise or something like that. Click on it and a drop bar should appear. Find the US option and click on it. Give that a try and see if it does anything first.

Wrong language of wording inside Letterpress Cards

Has anyone else had an issue with the wrong language being presented on the wording inside Letterpress Cards? I have my computer set to English, with the store as Canada. The outside of the cards are fine, and the the instructions on the inside are fine, but the actual wording is in something foreign.

This is not an issue.
What you're seeing is gibberish in Latin, put there as a Placeholder text. It's to allow you to see how the card will layout. It's a common device among printers and graphic artists. You'll see exactly the same if you try make a newsletter in Pages, for instance.
You simply click and type over it to put your own message there.

Flash Help in Spanish has wrong language (LNG)

I am using Adobe RoboHelp Version 7.00.45 on Windows XP.
When I go in File - Project Settings - Language and I select
spanish, I don't get a spanish LNG file, but another language. The
other tabs in the project settings dialog (Stops list, Always
Ignore) are in spanish. I suspect there is a problem with the file
mapping. if someone could provide a workaround that would be great.

I have reported this on the bug form.
You can actually find the right LNG file in the directory
where you installed RH, such as:
C:/Program Files/Adobe/RoboHelp 7/RoboHELP/language/es_ES
Paste this file into the source folder for your Spanish
project (but note that the wrong language still shows up in Project
Settings > Advanced > LNG File after you do so). I ran an
output, and the Spanish shows up as it should. However, DON'T open
Project Settings and click OK, because the wrong language will be
written to the LNG file and wipe out the Spanish.

IPad Pages: red underline corrector correcting wrong language

I type in French.
My IPAD keyboard is set to: French
When I type, every single word is wrong according to Pages, it suggests English names. On double click, define: I have the good definition with French dictionnary.
It's is just that the autocorrector red underline corrects the wrong language as if my text was set to English when it is set to French in keyboard..
How can I fix this?

Perhaps it is not really set to the French keyboard. If you have "globe" key, tap that and make sure to select Français.

I tried to switch between all the various options (render RGB, 8bit yuv, ....) of the render. But did not notice any significant amelioration if any at all.

Button from file upload item in wrong language

Hallo,
when i create a file upload item, the text from the search button is in wrong language.
The application primary language is en-us. And the ApEx language is en-us too.
Instead of "Durchsuchen..." I would like to have "Search..." as button text.
Can somebody help me?

In that case, you’re in troubles :)
The “Browse” button is not generated by APEX, and as such it’s not subject to the APEX translation mechanism (or application language). This button is generated by your browser, as part of the HTML <input type="file"> tag (http://www.w3schools.com/htmldom/dom_obj_fileupload.asp), which APEX uses to render its item, and its text and language are determined by the language of your Web browser.

IPad app store in the wrong language???

My app store is in the wrong language ... I had the language in settings for the iPad set in English but the bottom of the app store is in french!!
I did set my entire iPad to french for a few days to work on a project but it has been set back to English!
Anyone know how to change it to English???

The application Acrobat provides no language translation capability.
If you localize the language for OS, MS Office applications, Acrobat, etc to the desired language try again.
Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.
Do cleanup.
