Text in special form

Hi,
I just wan't to make a text in a special form(like a circle)
How can I do this.
I make a text but i cant find a circle as vector??

For the method I described, yes. I was running on the
assumption you
had the Suite.
The other recommendation listed here should work fine for
you, or you
can just create a series of text boxes to emulate the look.
Keep in mind, this type of alignment is not something that
can be
reproduced easily on a web page, unless you are planning to
export this
text area as a graphic, which makes the text inaccessible,
non-indexable
and non-searchable on the web page.

Text fields special characters problem in forms created with ID

Hi there,
I'm creating form document with ID.
The problem with special characters appears after exporting file to interactive pdf.
When filling up text field, special characters (polish language specials in my case) are replaced by squares.
I do not know if this is a ID problem (and I should set encoding during pdf creation somehow) or Acrobat/Reader problem (tried both and also in Polish or English versions).
Some help would be appreciated.

I am Creative Cloud User and downloaded fresh ID less than 2 hours ago.. And honestly the last thing I would think about was updating.
But in fact - it was the problem.

Why does text on certain portions of websites, usually when adjacent text contains special characters, become jumbled into seemingly random sets of characters that are not in any way jumbled when viewing the source of the webpage? How can I fix this?

When viewing most text on most websites, it displays properly. However, there are two instances where text will either tend to, or consistently, become jumbled into a mess of seemingly random characters. Oddly enough, these seemingly random characters are not, in fact, random. The same weird character will be used to replace the same regular English text character consistently across the entire area that has been jumbled.
The two instances where this tends to occur most often, or consistently in some cases, are, first, when a paragraph or particular section of formatted text contains special characters, such as Chinese or Japanese characters, or accented letters. When this happens, usually the paragraph that contains the special characters is completely jumbled, while the rest of the text on the page will have intermittent jumbling on a word or two. Most often, the word "the" is jumbled in this case.
The second instance where this happens is when a website uses specially formatted text in some form or another. I, not being an expert at web development, am not sure what kind of formatting causes it, but I can provide consistent examples in lieu of my experience:
- Example 1:

Example 1 shows a portion of a screen-shot of the website "Joystiq.com". Every single article title on the front page of this blog is consistently jumbled, while the text of the article itself remains untouched. Please note that when this jumbled text is highlighted, it is visible un-jumbled in the right-click menu as well as in the source code of the page. Other consistent instances can be found within many search fields on various websites. For instance, the search bar located at the top right of "Kotaku.com" consistently displays jumbled characters both on its default text of "Search" and on any text that is typed into the search box itself.
- Example 2:

Example 2 shows both the jumbling of the paragraph containing the character "☆" as well as the subsequent peppering of the rest of the article's text with small jumbled words. Below this is the DOM Source of the selected text which shows how the text itself is being rendered properly within the site's source. Additionally, for convenience, I have edited on to the bottom of the image a small snippet of what the search bar on the same page looks like. Notice how the grayed-out text that normally would read "Search" is instead jumbled.
This issue has been plaguing my browser for the past year or so, and I had hoped that it would go away with subsequent Firefox updates. It has not gone away.

This issue can be caused by an old bitmap version of the Helvetica or Geneva font or (bitmap) fonts that Firefox can't display in that size.
Firefox can't display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size and displays gibberish instead.
You can test that by zooming out (View > Zoom > Zoom Out, Ctrl -) to make the text smaller.
Uninstall (remove) all variants of that not working font to make Firefox use another font or see if you can find a True type version that doesn't show the problem.
There have also been fonts with a Chinese name reported that identify themselves as Helvetica, so check that as well.
Use this test to see if the Helvetica font is causing it (Copy & Paste the code in the location bar and press Enter):

You should reset the network.http prefs that show user set on the about:config page. 
Not all websites support http pipelining and if they do not then you can have issues with images or other problems.

Using formats of SO10 text in Adobe forms

Hello guys,
I got a question concerning the interaction of SO10 texts with adobe form text fields.
I know there are some threads about it here, and I think I understand the default SAP behavior, but can you please confirm if I am right? Then I got a special question about one case.
So is it right that there is only the difference between formatting the textfield itself in adobe form layout and adding a style to the text field in form context?
This means:
(1) Whenever in my text field in form context no style is added, the adobe form will take the formatting like it is done in the adobe form layout? This would mean that every format which is entered in the SO10 text is insignificant for the adobe form?
(2) Whenever in my text field a style is added, SAP will use SO10 text formats? This means, SAP searches for the smartforms style which is entered in the textfield and uses the formats from SO10 text like they were defined in the smartforms style?
Is this correct so far?
Now the special questions:
(1) What happens if a style is added, but the style does not exist as smartforms style. Which font etc. will be used then?
(2) What happens if a style is added, but the format of SO10 text does not exist in the smartform style?
In both cases it looks like SAP takes some "default" style, but where does it come from?

Using Bottomline Paybase special form printing - Help!

First I apologize if this is not directly related to ABAP. We are currently implementing SAP ECC 6.1. Instead of printing special forms (AP check, Payroll Check and Direct Deposit advices) via SAP we will use the PayBase software from Bottomline Technologies. Paybase is very simple; it reads text files that has the data for the forms and based on locating the data by row and column location in the text file it prints the special forms on a laser printer. Our implementer is having difficulty producing a TEXT file from each form and instead has given us RDI files which has data tags associated with each data item to be printed. These would work but not all data elements have unique data tags and not all fields that are on our forms are in the RDI files. Actually, I am not sure what these RDI files are. Again, we simply need a TEXT file for each type of form as they are produced by the business processes (Payroll, AP processing, etc.) that can be read by the Paybase software for printing. Bottomline will simply change our PayBase program to look in the new spots for the data as compared to the current text files we use in our legacy applications we're migrating from. So my question, is there a way programmatically that a text file with the data generated for AP checks, Payroll checks and Direct Deposit advices can be produced each time they are generated? I found that you can export as text from the spool request (SP01) screen but is there a way to have the data as it's produced in SAP automatically generated to a text file, again just the data that Paybase could use to send to the forms via it's print software? Please find a small info related to RDI
RDI files are created using sapscript Raw Data Interface (RDI)
and some external text management systems can be connected.
This can be controlled using sapscript print programs.
Say for example
Forms can be printed via the raw data interface using the function modules OPEN_FORM The function module has an additional optional import parameter: RAW_DATA_INTERFACE.
if input values for this parameter is " X " then output will move to spool, if it is " I " output will be IDoc
This you can configure thru SE71> form name> change> from the top menu>attributes>miscellaneous> RDI output mode and output device.
I think you can configure this to output mode I (IDoc) and send the IDoc to a File port. So in the File port Output will be in TEXT mode.

I saved a PDF doc in adobe and then added text to the form. But every time I try an email it it only sends the original form without text. Once I've changed a doc in Adobe, how can I save it so that I'm able to use it with added text and notes? Also, I'm using a new iPad.

If you are using those apps or websites, they are likely viewing the PDF using iOS' built in PDF previewing, which will not show annotations and markup to the PDF. We have informed Apple of this issue, but do not have any insight into whether or when they will fix it.
Regarding the qustion about importing pictures, Adobe Reader does not provide any capabilities to import pictures into a PDF. To do this, you'll need to use Acrobat, available on your desktop computer.

Can you create a button that adds specific text to a form field?

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to create a button in a PDF that, when clicked, adds specific text to a form field?
I am trying to make a product catalogue where you click on a product button to add the product name or code to a form field.
Each product in the catalogue will have a button and the more you click the more is added to the form field(s).
Then when you have finished adding products to the form field(s) I want to be able to save and email the entire PDF as an order form.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If I understand your question correctly, you want to programmatically set how many array elements (clusters) to show. You can do this with the Array properties: Number of Rows and Number of Columns. Please see the attached VI.

In my jspx, I use panelTabbed component which is in af:form
With this code, I get all bindings name.
So I change the [structure |http://h.imagehost.org/0922/jdev.png] putting af:form in each item of my af:panelTabbed without succes.
The code trace all bindings again, and I just want to get the input text of the form (like *$_POST*, or *$_GET* in php)
How to do that?

Dynamically create and remove TEXT items in forms

Hi Guys,
Is there a way to dynamically create and remove TEXT items in form. For example I have the EMP and DEPT table and when
I select the EMP table name from the LOV, rows of the EMP table with column name and data should get displayed on the screen and likewise a similar action for DEPT table and
so on. I have about 90 tables from where data could be required to view and edit. They all have varying number of columns.
Any suggestions ?

How to edit text in a form edited in LCD / Acrobat 9?

So I have a few minor edits to a form that was created in LCD 9 and Acrobat Pro 9. Apparently this seemingly simple task is now impossible with the latest versions. When I try to edit it in Acrobat XI I get the message "This form cannot be edited in Acrobat" but I have no way to edit the text in LCD.
Are users of forms from release 9 really stranded?

I may still have a version of AA9 available to play with. If so, I will try to check things out and see if there are alternatives. Of course, you could recreate the form in Acrobat XI (that is where printing to a new PDF or extracting the info would be useful). You could also try Forms Central that is part of XI. It may be that Forms Central can deal with a LCD form, never tried it (but I tend to doubt it). If you did not use any of the fancy features of LCD forms, you might be better off just transferring it to AcroForms in XI.
OK, I opened an AcroForms file in Designer for AA9 and saved. I then opened the file in AA9 and was surprised that I would edit the text of the form. When I went to edit the form fields it took me to Designer as would be expected. I played around in Designer a bit and could not find a way to edit the text, but the text could be edited in AA9. I think this is what you had described.
I then opened the LCD form in AA XI and found the same result that you did. I was not able to edit either the text or the forms. However, I was able to export the form with most fields to DOCX. The result was pretty good for the form I was working with (suggesting it had reasonable tagging -- but that may also have been done by Designer, I am not sure). There were a few form fields that did not seem to come out, but most did on the 4 page form. I then used PDF Maker to create a new PDF and the result gave most of the form fields, similar to the docx file. It may be that this conversion process might be the most useful, unless you possibly have a form with dynamic fields that is unique in Designer.
Hope that at least clarifies a few things for all of us and gives you some ideas. You might find additional input from the folks in the forms sub-forum.

we can give space in the smartform in the same way as in the scripts with two commas one space can be given.
when u click on the text in the window ,
there in the general attributes at the left hand side u can find a small icon for editor in that u can define the spaces with the variable to be printed in &var&.

I have created an text module of type include text in Adobe form context. the text which has to be bold is not being displayed as bold and the line space after first paragraph is being skipped out and the 2nd paragraph is being displayed as the continuation of the first. The out put looks as below
"Thank you for choosing Enterprise. We look forward to seeing you at 9:00 am on Monday, November 28, 2011. This message is to confirm you have updated your reservation. I tried Styles using SE72 on the SO10 text. And I cannot assign smartform styles on SO10 text in Adobe forms.

You can insert using standard text So10 call the standard text in your form where every it is required.
Download text/language converter using google search. Convert text to your desired language and place it in SO10.
