Text in Wizard Windows not displayed

Hello,
for a functioning test I installed form builder 6.0.8.11.3, as downloaded from OTN.
Now I found, that text displayed in wizards (for example layout-wizard) or messages is often too long for the windows, so only a part of it can be read.
Is there a parameter to set the fontsize or any other help, because at the moment I can only work with parts where I don't miss the hints.

I have the same issue, although mine seems to be related to my signature, which is just plain text, but it causes the window to expand to about 6x's the width of my screen. Plain text signature not wrapping in Apple Mail 8

Are you using RoboHelp for Word or RoboHelp HTTML? Assuming
RoboHelp HTML, have you tried looking at the Tools menu?
If you are using RoboHelp for Word, I'll have to defer to
someone that actually uses that product to answer.

Menu windows not displaying properly in Acrobat 11 STD

When I try to print any PDF file (clicking File->Print) the Print Menu that opens is missing all text in the window incl all buttons. I tried installing a separate Adobe Reader in local Danish language just to test the application but this was worse. So uninstalled and sticking to Acrobat.
I also tried click File->Properties and this is also not displaying properly.
I fear this has something to do with Microsoft compatibility, but I don't know. I have MS Windows 7 Pro SP1 installed.
The good news is I can guess the bottom 2 buttons - 'OK' (left button) and 'Cancel' (right button) which at least allows me to print in the default preferences.
Any ideas how to fix? I have the latest update installed.

I have been working together with Adobe support team to solve this. After multiple rootcauses we found the issue.
The issue was caused by not having the default windows font 'Segoe UI' installed. Sounds strange that Win 7 does not come with the font that is used by this application but the tip worked.
Google a website to download the font from, I used 'Fontpalace.com' - install the font - and voila the issue is solved.

SMS text message header does not display sender information

When I receive a text message the only header information that displays is the date and time. The senders information does not display. The lines are not even there. There is no way to reply to a text message or tell who the sender is. This problem is only with SMS messages. Regular email headers display just fine. I have done a wipe, reset, reload, everything possible with no luck. I am the only one in my office with this problem. I have not been able to find any information or postings from anyone having the same problem. I can read the text message, but there is no header (except for the date and time). Any thoughts?
Blackberry Curve 8350i

I was able to resolve the problem by uninstalling the Blackberry desktop manager software and reinstalling it selecting Internet Email vs. Blackberry Enterprise Server. If you get to the screen that asks you to choose which type of email service you use and you accidentally choose the wrong one your phone will work but will do strange things, including sending all sorts of redirect emails. For me, this seemed to do the trick.

Text on some pages not displaying correctly since Lion upgrade

Since upgrading to Lion a few days ago, I find that the texg on many web pages does not display correctly. It appears to affect mainly header texts - all I get is a row of the capital letter "A" in boxes. I am running Safari Version 5.1 (7534.48.3) on Lion 10.7 Build 11A511.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

Lion finder window not displaying file info

I have a MacPro which I've updated to Lion. I have four hard drives installed. When I open a finder window from three of the drives, I get the expected (from Snow Leopard) behavior: in icon view, images display pixel dimensions, movies or audio files display run time. This is assuming I have Show Item Info clicked in the View Options. But if I open a finder window on my start-up drive the file info is not displayed. If I open the View Info panel and click/unclick the Show Item Info ckeck box, I can see space expand or contract beneath the file, but no info is displayed. Is this a bug or a "feature"?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Standard text in the Window not Printing...

Hi,
I have two pages in a scripts . In the First page I have 10 windows.But in the windows section , I have total 18 windows.
In the windows sections i have a window with name ' WINDOW3'. But it is not there in the Page windows menas it is not there in the First page. But the data is coming.
in the same way , I have one more window 'WINDOW4'. It has standard text. it is also not there in the first page of Page windows. It is not printing.
Why the Standard text is not printing ?
The same Standard text is printing in another script..
Paragraph format ever thing is good ...
if the window is not there in the page window , will it print or not ..?

Text object's border not displayed

i am trying to open the report from the application it does not display the border of a text object but in the preview i can see the border

Opening PopUp window not displaying 1st view in background

also i embeded view V_JOBCODE inside window W_JOBCODE.
my requirement is that when this window gets opened, my earlier view should be displayed in background. Now when the window is getting opened, the ealier view is not displayed at all. earlier i developed another WDA where i am displaying window on click of URL to Action UI element and there i am able to see the 1st view in background. I checked all things but not sure why for my current WDA, i am not able to see 1st view in background.
Please let me know if anyone has any clue.

Design Window Not Displaying Correctly

In MX 2004, I have a layout in which the column structure is
set forth in CSS, but the columns then contain HTML-defined tables.
Is this mixture problematic in MX 2004? If I hit F12 or upload, the
result is fine, but in the Design window, the display is thoroughly
broken. Elements are skewed left-right-up-down, or don't appear at
all. I'm flying blind.
Is this problem known in MX 2004? If so, is it one of the
things that "expanded CSS support" of Dreamweaver 8 fixes? I'm
loath to upgrade if all I get is the same limitation.

No. Most likely your code is 'troubled', even if it looks OK
in the
browser. Can you post a link to the page? Does the page
validate?

Weblogic configuration wizard is not displaying correctly on windows 7

I only see buttons and check boxes, no text in it. It is only happening for oracle wizards. Other apps are working okay. This is on windows 7, virtual machine access via VM Player.

TOC/Search window not displayed in WebHelp Pro output

I've got what I have to think is pretty fundamental question: When I generate my WebHelp Pro project, everything works perfectly until I move the contents of the output folder to a network drive for viewing. When the default topic opens, rather than displaying the TOC/Search window on the left, I'm getting a link that says "Show". Click that link, and the TOC opens right up.
I would like to have the TOC displayed on that initial view, without requiring users to click the "Show" link.
Again, when I view the results of the output on my local drive, the TOC is displayed. The obvious problem is, the generated help needs to reside on a network drive to be accessed by our users...
PS: The project is on my local drive, only the contents of the output folder are being moved to the network drive. Also, everything other than the TOC display seems to be working fine.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Larry, Rick has solved your conditional build issue. However, do check to make sure you have all the updates installed for RoboHelp 10.
WebHelp issues in RoboHelp versions 10 and 11
I notice you are using IE. Does the Show link occur with Chrome or Firefox as well?
Meanwhile, I'm still suspect that you are not opening the correct "default" start page file to launch the WebHelp and that's why you're getting that "Show" link. This is "tell-tale" that you are opening the default topic file instead of the default Start Page. By chance have you somehow named your "default topic", index.html? If so, this is not correct.

Text in Calibri font not displaying in LibreOffice 4

Hi,
I have recently opened a document in LibreOffice Calc and noticed that the document is text-less, but the highlights, borders and images are present. However, I can see the text content at the editbar above when I click on the cells. All the text is in Calibri font. When I change the font to something else, the text content appears correctly.
I then tested Calibri font in LibreOffice Writer and the outcome is the same: Calibri text content does not appear at all. I did a further test on other app like KWrite, however Calibri font can be displayed correctly. Tried disabling embedded bitmap in fontconfig also made no difference.
I performed a full system update and also tried switching between freetype2 and freetype2-infinality and the result is the same: LibreOffice 4 cannot display Calibri text content. Appreciate if someone can help me with this issue. Thanks.
My system (64-bit) has the following:
- KDE 4.10.4
- LibreOffice 4.0.4
- freetype2-infinality
- ttf-ms-win8
Note: The Calibri font is obtained directly from my other Win8 installation. The issue affects all Calibri fonts, i.e. Light, Italics, Bold, etc.

There are coments in this topic which say that with the official build it works. I had to try for myself. So:
- downloaded from libreoffice website the rpm tar gz
- extracted the tgz
- went into RPMS directory and run: for file in *.rpm; do rpmextract.sh $file; done
- whent into opt/libreoffice4.0 and run program/soffice
Opened the same document and surprise, now I see the Calibri letters (Calibri font had to be installed, of course).
Now, quickly, run /usr/bin/soffice, open the same document and see.... nothing.
So, to resume: the official build works, the Arch build does not.
Again, why is the Arch bug closed and suggested to report to LibreOffice?
Does not compute... Should I include pictures?

Record Insertion Form Wizard, page not displaying

I used the "Record Insertion Form Wizard" in Dreamweaver 8 to
build the following code. Problem is that when I upload this to my

Hoefler text ornaments font is not displaying correctly in Pages

I've imported an existing document from Appleworks into Pages. I am using Hoefler Text Ornaments (HTO) font occasionally, using the pointing finger. Pages indicates that the font is HTO, but displays the following key: ']' which is the proper key to press in HTO to get the pointing finger. All the ornaments are missing. I've used keyboard viewer and indeed the viewer indicates that there are no ornaments only normal text.
I've confirmed that the font is named correctly, that the finger is part of the font, and that the original document displays correctly. I'm guessing that the HTO font is corrupted in Pages. What can I do?

You're absolutely right. There's a button in the character palette labeled Favorites that will let you store glyphs. I think you and Gerry both have workable ideas. You can use the character palette or store special characters in a document.
A question, Gerry: why use another program to store the characters? Since the user is already working in Pages, why not create a Pages document, then paste in the character he/she might want to save? What am I not understanding about this?
