Text is broken when scanning UP the page; but okay scanning down the page. The text looks like a shot gun has been fired through it. It used to be good both ways until the last update. This is not a problem in any other program including Internet Explorer. I have an image to show you but there is no link here to attach.
After clicking Allow I got ..........The add-on could not be downloaded because of a fault at the support site.

Try to create a new Boolean pref on the about:config page via the right-click context menu with the name layout.paint_rects_separately and set the value to true and leave hardware acceleration enabled.

Hp 7525 Photosmart printer won't scan to my PC but will scan to other PCs on the LAN. I tried to install the printer software but it says it is already installed. Do I have a security setting wrong?
Other PC names show up on the printer's touch screen but not mine. We are all on the same wireless subnet with the printer at a fixed IP address.
I can print from my PC and scan from my PC but I can't scan from the printer touchscreen to my PC.

You may have to start from your computer first:
    Double click printer icon on desktop,
    Select Manage Scan to Computer
    Click Enable -
    Restart your printer to see, is your machine in the list ?

Safari will lock up on my MacBook Pro. Force quit doesn't help. When I try to restart the computer, I get an error saying Safari cancelled the restart. I have to press the power button to shut down the computer.

While I'm using safari, it will freeze up. When I force quit safari and reopen it, I find that I'm back to where I was when I did the force quit and safari remains locked up. When I reboot the computer and open safari, I see all the tabs and windows that were opened when this issue began, only this time safari isn't frozen. This problem started yesterday.

Try Resetting Safari: Open Safari. Cick on the name Safari in the menu bar. In the drop down menu click Reset Safari.

Hi Min! I'm having exactly the same issue - have been putting up with it now for months but have finally had enough! Every single time i eject either my iphone, ipad or ipod nano, itunes freezes up, the computer becomes unresponsive. Usually i can use the mouse to highlight icons but the system doesn't respond, the keyboard doesn't work and I have to do a hard reset.

there are three displays in photos page:
1) thumbnails grid - smallest
2) deatial view and detail view slideshow - large
3a) pop-up slideshow - vary - this is slideshow.html
3b) or iphone/ipad slideshow phoneshow.html - iphone/ipad can't do pop-up
it's difficult to know which you refer to.
if you refer to pop-up slideshow then you should not look into iwebmediagrid.js as wyodor suggested.
instead look in phoneshow.html and change width and heigth of element id slideshow:

What black background?
If it is black background in the actual photo:
Menu > Format > Instant Alpha > drag the cursor over the colored background you wish to remove

Have you checked your email's spam folder to make sure an email from Apple has not been put in there?

Connecting the iPad to the internet via the iPhone is done by setting up a personal HotSpot, but you have to have that supported by your carrier and have to have established the account to do so.
On the iPhone, Settings > General > Network > Set Up Personal Hotspot

Try this: select one of the photos that are showing the wrong title and use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Title to File Name menu option.
See if that will put the name that you want under the thumbnail.
