Text is pixilated.

I am trying to create wedding invitations in PSE 10.  All of the text I type is pixilated and fuzzy.  How do I fix this?  I need these to look professional.  Thank you!

Thanks for the follow up and you are welcome. You would have to resample, and I do not advise that. Start over  as you "need these to look professional."
Good luck.

    Im useing a jquery script to slide between divs with a fade in/out effect between each div
    this is the code
    <script type="text/javascript" src="Scripts/jquery-1.4.2.js"></script>
    <script>
    $(function(){
        $ds = $('.com');
        $ds.hide().eq(0).show();
        setInterval(function(){
            $ds.filter(':visible').fadeOut(function(){
                var $div = $(this).next('div');
                if ( $div.length == 0 ) {
                    $ds.eq(0).fadeIn();
                } else {
                    $div.fadeIn();
        }, 5000);
    </script>
    this is the Site
    http://www.swcwebdesign.co.uk/index.html
    The part of the site in question is the top right (next to the logo) where client comments are displayed
    in any browser other than IE the transition between them is clean
    but in IE as the divs are fadeing in/out the text becomes pixilated
    i have sene the same problem when using IE propriatory filters such as text shaddow and blur
    What is causing this

    I'm not an expert on Netscape, but I would guess that you're problems are simply caused by the differences between IE and NS.
    It is very difficult to write (functional) JS code that works perfectly between the two of them and I bet that JSTab isn't written in such a way.
    You may want to try using your own tab object, we do this by creating a page for each tab and making the actual tabs be links to each page. This avoids the use of JavaScript.
    Good Luck!!!

  • Help!! Unnatural display growth...

    Everything on my MacBook Pro screen has suddenly tripled in size. Menus, Safari, the dock, everything. All text is pixillated, nothing fits on the page. I went to "displays" in system prefs but that didn't help. Anyone?

    I tried the ctrl-fingers trick. It made everything on screen larger, but it won't make it smaller. The wallpaper is the only thing that seems correct size, everything else is too wide, icons, menus etc. Thanks for trying! if you have other ideas...

  • Pixilated Titles / text

    Hi All
    I'm using FCP v 5.1.4. I shoot HDV 1080i50 and am havin problems with titles and subtitles created both in FCP generated effects text option and Boris Crawl but also having problems with titles created in Livetype. The font is pixilated. But when I move it slightly on screen it rectifies but then I render it and its pixilated again. I've tried de-interlacing but this only sharpens the pixilated edges.
    Any thoughts? thanks dx

    Could it be that the text is black and not showing up against the background. Click and drag the cursor over the page in the browser to see if the text shows up.
    In iWeb go to the Album page where the thumbnails are displayed click on one and do a Select All. Next click on the Font button at the bottom and in the Font pane click on the 3rd button from the left, the one with the green square. There you can set the color you want.
    This demo page has the first picture's text set to the background color so you can see the effect of dragging the cursor over it to see the hidden text.

  • Pixilated Text on Certificate

    Good Day!
    I have a project with video slides and quizzes at the end.  after the quiz, I have added a Certificate to the end of the project but the standard Certificate doesn't look as professional as I would would like.  The main issue I have is the fonts looking REALLY pixilated.
    How do I fix the pixilated text? Do I need to edit this in Flash? If so, does anyone have a good .fla file to help me out?
    Sample Below
    Thanks!

    Hello MrPJPunk3,
    Did you rescale your project and objects?
    What is the resolution of your Project (check the resolution from Modify > Rescale Project)?
    Does the Certificate look Pixilated in the preview or in the published project as well or only in the work space of Captivate?
    Thanks.

  • Poor Quality Text in Titles

    Hello, my name is Scott and I’m a newbie.
    I made a cute little movie using FCE and exported it as a QuickTime movie. When I play it in QuickTime, the text for my titles is of very poor quality, like it was sent through a fax machine. When I play it on iTunes, the text looks great. When I copy the iTunes version on to iDVD and test it out it’s back to the poor quality again.
    Does anyone know what might be going on. I understand there is a difference in pixilation between my Macbook Pro and a TV, but why would the text look so good viewing it on it using iTunes?
    Scott

    Yep, it's set to high quality viewing....I just figured it out. QuickTime was set to "fit to screen" and not "actual size."
    I learn something everyday.
    Thanks,
    Scott

  • Adding pictures/graphics w TEXT to DV movies

    In the past - I was told if I wanted to add a picture ( with text titling mixed in) to a DV quality movie in final cut pro - that I should use: 720x480 300 dpi Tiff file - however looks badly smudgy/ pixilated post importing.
    Q: Why does this look so bad? Should I be using a different size/format?

    Thanks james -
    BTW: The Text is Built IN the tiff picture
    Now, the question is... are you applying any motion
    (scaling, moving, cropping etc) to your TIFF image in
    FCP? Or, is the image just being used as a static
    background with text on top?
    I'm applying no Motion effects of any kind. I simply drag a clean tiff from the FCP browser to the timeline.
    You might find that if you double-click on your TIFF
    clip on the timeline, it opens up into the VIEWER
    window as a perfect image... whereas, in the canvas
    it looks fuzzy... this is basically a render
    issue...
    - when I double click - it seems as though the image looks equally fuzzy/smudgy in the canvas as well as the viewer
    BTW: - I have the playback video quality set to HIGH and record to tape set to FULL quality.
    Just to add... do you see the green preview render
    line at the top of the timeline?
    let me know how it looks if you double-click on it
    and bring it to the viewer...
    - when I double click - it seems as though the image looks equally fuzzy/smudgy in the canvas as well as the viewer

  • Photoshop CS6 is blurry or pixilated on mac book with retina display

    Hello,
    I just upgraded to a 13" macbook with retina display. Now most of my apps have blurry or pixilated text. I can handle that in most cases, the real problem comes in with photoshop CS6. I've updated to the latest version using the help menu in photoshop, but that did not seem to fix the problem. I've also read the you can get info on the photoshop app and uncheck open in low resolution. The only problem is that when I try to do this, finder won't let me uncheck the box and the text is light gray.
    Any suggestions?
    I'm running PHOTOSHOP 3.0 x64
    OS 10.10.1
    Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
    Thanks

    InDesign has yet not came up with the retina display support update but yes we are going to have the support of retina display for most of the products eventually.

  • My video gets pixilated after importing in Premiere pro cc 2014. I've try to change settings but nothing happens.

    My video gets  pixilated (specifically the text on the video) after I import it in premiere. I don't think it's because of my editing because when i'm previewing a video after importing it the video is already downgraded and the text are so pixilated. I hope someone could help me.
    Thank you in advance.

  • Macbook Pro + Retina, all applications are pixilated?

    Hi, I just bought a new Macbook Pro with Retina display. I currently run all the Creative Cloud (CS6) Application on my iMac, so I downloaded the 'Adobe Application Manager' with my account and then downloaded the entire Creative Cloud suite onto my new laptop.
    Every Application runs pixilated? Icons, Text, etc. The Application Manager says there are no updates? (Extra info example - Photoshop CS6 says: Version 13.0 x64)
    Thanks

    This is where it can get really confusing.
    In this Cloud era, there are always two versions of Photoshop: Cloud and perpetual.
    Cloud version: 13.1.2 (not applicable to perpetual)
    Perpetual: 13.0.4 (not applicable to Cloud, hence the screenshot you've posted)
    http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2013/01/photoshop-13-0-413-1-2-updates-now-available.htm l
    To avoid trying to download non-applicable updates and getting errors, your best bet is to go to the individual apps and click Update from there (which, for Cloud versions, will launch the AAM)

  • Elements 10 Editor - Everything's Pixilated! Help!

    I have one of the retina display macbooks. Maybe this is an issue? Any image I import, regardless of its resolution is getting pixilated. Didn't do this before. Didn't tweak any settings. I'm lost. I'm running the software on a non-retina display desktop and everything's fine. On the macbook, this is what I'm getting, all chunky monkey blah:
    I've tried a reainstall twice. Any help or advice would be grand. Thanks!

    I would also check your retina display settings and see if anything's changed.
    I don't have a retina display on a mac, but there must be some settings to tell the display what to do with applications that don't support retina displays.
    Another thing i notice from your screenshot is the anti-alias setting in the tool options bar appears to be off which can cause the text to be even more pixelated.

  • After effects text pixelated

    hi
    for some reason type text are in after effects the text will become pixalted does anyone know how to fix this problem?
    thanks andy

    I fixed my problem. The answer is sort of confusing so contact me if you have questions.
    Premeire problem -
    I had slightly moved the text panels by simply clicking and dragging to a different position. They were graphics with a transparent background so I could simply grab and move it a hair to be in a better place asthetically in premiere. I had done this in CS4 and when exported it didn't have any effect on the quality. I figured out that if I clicked on the little fx icon next to the motion effect it would turn off the effect and move the object back to its original spot. Keep in mind this was just barely move any of these. For some reason after exporting I can now go back in and click it back on which moves it back and it looks fine like it did in CS4. This is a goofy problem. There must be enough of a difference between the two versions that you have to do any moving using the CS5. I was really pulling my hair out.
    AE problem -
    I had the open GL previews selected and render simultaneous frames selected and it created a reduced resolution preview.
    My Players Problem -
    All of my players were set to resize the video to the size of the screen on startup and since I am outputting to SD on a 28in. 1080p monitor it was looking pixilated in my players because it was just slightly too big.
    The biggest part for me was that even though I was creating the text new in AE I was replacing existing footage in premeire which was keeping the original position settings which I had moved. I know this is probably confusing but I did find the answer to my problems.

  • All text is blurred

    Hi, every time I try to use text in my projects it comes out blurred, with the edges of the text rough and slightly pixilated.
    It always looks fine in my viewer window (this includes livetype texts) but as soon as I bring it into my timeline it becomes slightly fuzzy.
    Any ideas of what could be the problem?

    #2 Playback is blurry
    Shane's Stock Answer #2:
    ONLY JUDGE THE QUALITY OF YOUR MATERIAL ON AN EXTERNAL NTSC MONITOR, OR AT LEAST A TV.
    1. Disable overlays on the canvas
    2. Make sure you've rendered everything (no green bars at the top of the timeline
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=24787
    DV footage requires large amounts of data and many computations. In order to maintain frame rate and be viewable at a normal size, only about one-fourth of the DV data is used in displaying the movie to the screen. However, the DV footage is still at full quality, and is best viewed thru a TV or NTSC monitor routed thru your camera or deck.

  • Windows/Status Bar/Icons = big and pixilated

    I unplugged my computer. When I turned it back on all the windows and everything is really pixilated and big. It's like everything is zoomed in. Except that it isn't. Everything in the system preferences seems to be normal, zoom is off, resolution is right, text size is normal. I don't know what it is? Can anyone help? Anyone know what it could be?

    It sounds like you are using an LCD monitor, correct? If so, you probably have the OS X display resolution set to something other than the monitor's native resolution -- if you do this on an LCD monitor, the result is a blurry screen -- photographic images (like your wallpaper) won't appear blurry, but icons and fixed-sized graphical UI elements will.
    Go into System Preferences -> Displays, select the Display tab, and make sure the Resolution is set to your LCD's "native" resolution (which you can find your monitor's manual).
