Text letters are jumbled, or shuffled

My text characters keep getting jumbled after I reopen and after effects file. The only way I've been able to save it, is by recreating the text effect, or transition. It happens with text effects and presets or just basic transforms. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix? I'm using AE-cc

So far it's change Lato and Arial. I'm on a mac running 10.8.4 in English. AE is version 12.0.0.404
The first time it happened, AE or my computer had a hard crashed where my mouse would move, but the computer wasn't responding. I had to force the computer to restart. This time, I received the file from a co-working using a PC AE-CS6. However the first time I opened the file, I didn't notice the letters scrambed. Today the fonts have changed.

It's in every text-input app I use in my normal day.....most frustrating as you have to do a doublecheck especially in documents which do not have any special spellcheck system. I've done the cleanmymac, maintenance, cocktail, PRAM reset, Font Cache Smash fixes.....and still I'm dogged by this. Its almost as though the motherboard or some interface system is 'sleeping' longer than it should (if there are any input areas of the MBP which rest during short periods of inactivity) and then the initial keystrokes on the keyboard are somehow not registered and only 'kick in' once half of a new word's characters are already on the screen........grrrrr.

When writing an email the letters are so small that I can hardly read them. If I increase the size then the outgoing email letters are very large.

letters are very large. I have tried changing the font but it doesn't help. This is very annoying. How can I remedy this?

I use these settings, so try them:
Tools > Options > Display > Formatting tab
or
Menu icon > Options > Options > Display > Formatting tab
* eg: Default font: Arial
* size 14
Note: this sets the default font to be used in both display of messages and the font to use as default in composing messages.
Under Plain text Messages
* select: Style : Regular Size: Regular and colour Black
* Click on 'Advanced' button
* make sure all sizes - 14
* select; 'allow messages to use other fonts'
* Select; 'Use fixed width fonts for plain text messages'
* click on OK
Note: This will use the default eg: Arial to be used, but allows the display of messages to use other fonts if the sender specified them.
then at top click on 'Composition' > General tab
note: This sets the default composing text colour and background colour.
under HTML
* Font: Variable width
* Size : Medium
* Select a text colour for writing emails eg: Blue
* Select background colur eg: white
click on OK to save and close Options.

Settings>General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast
Settings>General>Accessibility>Bold Text
are some settings that may help.
There are other settings there ...they may not be to your liking but try them all anyways.
But that's about all you can do for now...except to voice your opinion to Apple here:

Letters are not turned by copy to Corel Draw

Hello,
I made with Visio 2013 a drawing with dimensioning. In some parts of the drawing the text of the dimensioning is turned to 90 grade. If I copy this drawing to Corel Draw, the letters of this text are not turned and they are now one below
the other not like normal side by side.
Example like it is now in Corel Draw (normally the letters must be side by side and turned 90 grad):

    x
    t
Have you an idea what’s to do that this letters are like in the normal drawing also side by side and not one below the other?

Which Corel Draw version did you use? Please try to convert Visio file to Corel
Draw file to test.
Then, please follow the link to re-create a dimensions of shape to test.

Letters get jumbled when I type

For the last month, whenever I try to type in Firefox, especially in Facebook or Twitter, but really anywhere in Firefox, the letters are all jumbled together, like this:

Also, a lot of times in Facebook, the page jumps around weirdly when I'm trying to read it, and It takes a long time before I can scroll back to where I was (it kind of freezes up briefly). Not sure if I have seen this on other pages or not.
I have been using Chrome instead, and I don't like it as much as Firefox (a lot of the pages just plain don't load in Chrome). I had a different problem in Firefox back in the Fall (pages freezing up) but after trying other browsers, none of which I liked, I came back to Firefox and it has been working fine up until now. Help!

Yes, I did. It was from this other program I run that they upgraded, Webroot SecureAnywhere. First I unintstalled and reinstalled the program, but I still had problems with it interfering with my Keyboard Express macro program so their tech support called me and went on my computer remotely. She figured out that she had to open the SecureAnywhere program and click on the Identity & Privacy tab, then click on View/Edit Protected Applications. Make sure Firefox is listed there as "allow" and not "block". You have to restart Firefox, too (maybe twice). Unfortunately it seems that every time I restart my computer, I have to do it all again. And the same with any browser.
If you don't have Webroot, it could be some other program. I would focus on any security antivirus etc. programs you have...

Arabic letters are typed reversed

I have been several month having this problem, when I lost hope to find the answer using search engine, I decided to ask it here in forum hopping that someone solve my problem.
I have Photoshop Middle Eastern Version CS5. When I type Arabic the letters are typed backward.
As you know arabic is typed from right to left, but in photoshop they are typed from left to right.
Everything is fine when typing on another program like notepad or MS word, but in photoshop letters are reversed,
Windows -> Character: I chose Adobe Arabic
Windows -> Paragraph is set to right align text and justification is set to arabic, eventhough arabic letter are typed backward and are not connected.

The first strange thing that I noticed was that some of the letters were showing up twice so I deleted extra letters and re-saved my work as I went along.
When I closed the document and opened it up again, ALL of the text was either missing, jumbled, or turned to symbols.
My software is updated. My version is 11.0.10. I work on a MAC computer.
Can anyone help me please? I'm on a deadline and this has caused some real stress.

As PDF is not a word processing file format any word processing like "editing" is not support by PDF (the file format - technology - See ISO 32000-1:2008).
Fortunately Acrobat provides robust touchup capability but "touchup" is far from word processor "editing".

We have some column headings , which are populated through the Text Vaiables , But in the Query Ouptput only the tech names of the Text variables are being displayed . can anyone tell me why its happening like this . I want to debug the Query , please guide me in this regard

Click on the properties of the infoobject enter the name of the description and next to that you can see the X/? buttion click on the this button and select the field/if the proper field is not there then create a field descriton and select. i hope this is works and correct me if i am wrong. for debuggin the query use a transaction code- RSRT.

I just switched from a iPhone 4S to iPhone 5S and now my text messages are showing up on my iPad as well as my phone. How to I turn this feature off and just keep them on my phone?

This is for imessage - go to settings - message - send&receive and start a new convo - remove or uncheck the apple id.

Text captions are not displayed as per timeline settings after publishing.

I am using Adobe Captivate 4. I have provided different start times in timeline settings for 4 text captions. When i preview my slide, it displays well. But when i publish it and try to view it, it is only dsiplaying the first text caption and the other text captions are not at all displayed.

Yeah..you are correct...I do have buttons in my slide.
When i adjusted the start time for my buttons after my text captions....it perfectly works fine...

I just upgraded to the new iTunes and now my playlists are jumbled when I print them.

I just up graded to the new iTunes and now when I prints playlists, they are jumbled. It's not my printer...........only happens on iTunes.
