Text message with a group in Iphone 4s
I use Windows 7 Contact to create a group. However, when i txt the group, i have to select one by one (painful). Is there a way that i can only need to select the group to send txt out without having to selece every single one in the group?
Blackberry does it perfect. I'm not sure SMART phone like Iphone 4s can't do it. too bad that i can't return phone anymore. I should have read carefully before upgrading to Iphone 4s.

There's only one way to do it at this time.
When you get the audio file from your friend, in the text box at the bottom instert the following: "Thanks, can you email that to me instead" and hit send.
At this time I dont believe there's a way to save an audio file.

When I create a text message from my contact on my iphone 5, the contacts mobile number appears and not there name. But when they respond to my text, is shows up as a new text message with there name. How do I fix this?
Double click the home button and swipe up the messages app to stop it, then open the app again. This pretty much completely stops the process and freshly opens it again, resolving problems at times. I have had this happen before as well on my iPad, I get a banner, check messages, and nothing new is there.
If that doesn't work, close the app like suggested above, but then restart the phone by holding down the home and lock button for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears. -
i got rid of my iphone, and now i cannot recieve text messages from frineds that have iphones, how can i disassociate my number with my old iphone.

How can I send text messages to a group?
Cant find an option to send a text message to a group that I have created in my contacts...either via the standard messaging app or with the Verizon messaging app. Does that mean that neither of these apps have that capability?
That's definitely odd, bwoolard. Let's help make sure you are able to send these texts to these groups. To begin, what type of contact is this group saved through? Is it as a standard phone contact that may be saved via Backup Assistant, or saved as a Google backup contact?

You can't. You can't without a 3rd party app. I have developped a free application, Easy Group, to create your groups directly on iPhone, and then to send group text and group emails.

It sounds like you need to enable Text Message Forwarding on your iPhone for your iPad to send MMS/SMS messages through your phone.
Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity
Go to Messages > Text Message Forwarding, and enable the device(s) you would like to forward messages to.
Your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch will display a code. Enter this code on your iPhone to verify the SMS feature.

You need the same number, and you have it. I think it also has to be with the same cellular carrier. -
My husband and I both have Iphone 4's. I do not receive any text messages that he sends me. He gets mine though. He sends texts to other iphone users and they get them. I get text messages from other phones including iphones. Please help.
Both of yall need to go to settings, meassages, send and recieve, scroll down to start new conversation from, and make sure you have different email addresses with a check mark beside it. Right now sounds like they are the same email addresses.

It sounds like you have some texts with images attached you would like to forward to another device. If the it can receive text messages, use these steps:
Send messages with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
How do I forward a message?
To forward a message, tap and hold the message bubble, then tap More.
Tap to select the message you want to forward, then tap and select the person to send it to.
If the receiving device does not have the ability to receive text messages, you can also email them to an account setup on it by first saving the message to your phone:

You may want to make all of the settings are configured properly on your devices. Take a look at the article below for more information.

I used to be able to increase the size font of the persons name sending me an email or text message. I have an iphone 5 and can no longer do that. Help!
Just the name? Don't ever recall that being a feature. However, for Mail and Messages (and a few other apps): Settings app > General > Text Size
