Text not fitting

In a report there is a table created vth sy-uline and c_vlines
(vertical and horizontal) .and there is a data .if i have to insert the text there it is not fitting properly means it is truncating by the vlines and uline how to increase the table width in a report
if i am changing any constant values in vline and uline it is effecting to the header and the tezt items in it .PLZ suggest

Text not fitting on page correctly...?

I'm using the "Watercolor" template in iWeb, which has a "page" on top of the background, therefore creating an edge. When I increase the content width in the Page Inspector, the green header does not "widen" with the page; it's a locked length and only the beige "page" expands on the top right. It looks like this, which I don't want:

But the issue is this: My header copy ("Bristol Screens") won't fit on the header. The text box doesn't even reach the edge, and yet my copy is moved to the right and cut off. It looks like this on the home page:

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. That's one of the problems with most of the themes in iWeb. They do not allow increasing the width of the page since they use graphic files in their design and those files are not scaleable when the page width is increased. Sometimes those themes can be modified but not without a log of work and knowledge of CSS and how iWeb works internally. Wyodor or Cyclosaurus often can suggest a workaround.
The themes that do let you widen the page and customize any way you want are White, Black, Modern Frame and Formal (except for its blog layout).
I use one of those themes, choosing the one whose navbar font and color will fit my design best, and then add my own shapes and graphics which I have complete control over.
It's either that or use the set themes at their default size.

Text not fit to size when deploy in web browser when upgrade to 10g

Hi,
I 'm currently evaluating the form upgrade from 6i to 10g (10.1.2).
The text on the boilerplate was fit to size in the form builder 10g , however after compilation of the upgraded form and deploy to web browser, those text item close to the field get truncated.
Moreover, the spacing of the LOV is increased in the web and it need to scroll down view all items.
Is there any configuration can be changed to revert back to 6i , otherwise it may required to patch on the text position again.

I think that it is just a problem of difference between the Forms Builder font and the Java web corresponding font.
Have a look at the <FORMS_HOME>/formsxx/java/oracle/forms/registry/registry.dat file.

Help filling out PDF - How can I get text to fit in text boxes?

I need to fill out an application that is in the PDF format.
When I filled it out, there were a few text boxes where the text did not wrap around.
In other words, some of the text doesn't show.
There is not enough space for what I typed.
When I printed it out, the text was still blocked out.
How can I get the text to fit in the box?

Songs in Playlist will not fit on CD

Every time I try to burn a cd I get the message:
"The songs in this playlist will not fit on one Audio Cd. Do you want to create multiple Audio CD's with this playlist spilt across them? This will require more than one blank cd to complete." Then I have the option of clicking Audio CDs or cancel. Nothing happens when I click Audio CDs.
This happened out of the blue and have not changed any settings. I have tried burning several playlists even one with just one song and still get the same message. So clearly these playlist do not really need more than one cd. I am using the same exact cds that I have successfully been burning with that are CD-R. I just updated to latest version of iTunes as well.

If I use a different brand of CD-R it now works (found this suggestion in the answer to another similar question).
I was using Memorex which didn't work on my PC or Laptop, but works ok on my daughter's PC.
Maxell works ok.
Why? Anything I can do to fix it?

I have a small sub report placed in the main report. Everything is working fine except that the sub report not fitting exactly in the parent text box is bothering me and disturbing the look of it. Can any one tell me how to make the sub report fit to its
parent properly ???
contents of my report are as below.
1st column - project name,2nd column - location(sub report),3rd column - client name,4th - consultants(sub
report), 5th - registered contractors and date(sub report).
At the end of the sub report a line is displayed indicating its end. This is what i am concerned about.

If I understand correctly, you have get a mess format with subreport.
We can adjust the subreport report body size and tablix with the same size. It will fit exactly in the parent text box. Please refer to the screenshot below:

Help! How do I warp text to fit a ribbon?

Hi,
Does anybody know how to warp text to fit a shape - in this case a ribbon? Attached are two pics, hopefully showing what I'm trying to achieve!
The pencil sketch shows how the text should roughly be the second shows the clear paths that I want the text to warp to. I need the text to fill the shape of the ribbon and flow (top and bottom as if were printed on) - not just by using the clunky text path tool as shown.
Is this possible in Illustrator?

The closest I can come to duplicating the effect you want is with the 3D effect, and mapping the text to the object. Type the text and save the text object as a Symbol. Draw the ribbon as a single path, then apply a 3D Extrude & Bevel, then apply the text (as a Symbol) to that. These last two steps can be done in the same step. Here's a quick attempt:

Datagrid Scrolling Problem.. Does not fit into Parent Container..

I have a module and module contains only one datagrid. I am adding this module to tab navigator dynamically in the next index. I am using Text as Item renderer in the datagrid and the row height will change depending upon the data diplyed on the Text. When the data populate in datagrid the datagrid going beyond the containers layout. i.e height is not fit into parent container. I am using Canvas as parent container .. Please find the below attached pictures and you will get to know what is my problem?

As you said "customize the measure() method in Text control and return the correct measuredHeight based on the explicitWidth." what is the relation between Text control height and datagrid? Datagird should take it's parent container width and heights. I am newbie to this Flex.. can you please explain it briefly. Error: Table TEMPLATE_HEADER does not fit into window.

I met a very strange problem.
I am printing a process order using smartform.
for other process nrs , print perfect.
But only for a certain precess nr, I got a popup error 'Table TEMPLATE_HEADER does not fit into window.'
At beginning , I suppose my table line extend the mainwindow width. But infact , no!
I try to comment every node one by one, I found the reason: I put a table line into a loop node, if I add a text node which has something inside, it will triger this error. (only for this process order, others works fine)
so , does someone met this error before ?

Hi Kevin,
Which printer and device type do you use? For line printers and device type(driver STN2) like e.g. EPESCP9, the SAP system
must use spaces and empty lines to place the text. This is a limitation of the ESC/P printer languagesa per SAP note #19807.
For this, the Smartforms rounds all coordinates(of the table cells and the window). Only after this step it checks, whether the table fits into the window. So if the table size is quite close to the window size size, it may happen on line printers that the table doesn't fit anymore.
If this is the reason for your problem, the error message should vanish if you increase the size of the window containing table TEMPLATE_HEADER a little in your smartform.

Display does not fit in screen

My computer display has stretched and does not fit anymore. The text is not crisp and I cannot see the dock and the toolbars at the same time

I tried that a while back. I am on the proper resolution. When I switch users the displays fit but when I switch back to my login page it does not fit But thanks for your response

Fireworks slices not fitting together when I put them in HTML

I created a map of the world, created slices for the continents and made them rollovers with links to pages.
I exported it as slices with HTML Dreamweaver because I am using Dreamweaver for layout. I tried to export it as something else but it wouldn't let me put in the code in Dreamweaver saying it wasn't Dreamweaver HTML or some such error.
I preview and open the file by itself and it shows fine (with blue lines, another issue I know)
I have a DIV on my page for the map. I inserted the fireworks HTML file and its not fitting together anymore, the sections are all separated a bit, they still rollover and link but all my slices are not fitting together correctly and not fitting into the DIV.
I am not opposed to exporting it differently or putting it in the page another way, has anyone experience their sliced image not fitting together, each piece working but with a bit of air inbetween once you try to incorporate it into your webpage? I have been using HTML5 and CSS3 and this is my first time to try to use Fireworks for something like this.

IOS4 not fit for purpose (at present..)

I have NEVER had an issue with Apple. Love my iMAC and (until the new OS) loved my 3GS.
However, since upgrading it is running considerably slower. Opening App's take a good 10-20 secs longer at times and it is 'jerky' and seems to stick when I perform normal, day to day operations (text, e-mail, contacts etc)
Today it had trouble with the unlock AND, on two occasions I was unable to answer a call as the touch screen was just unresponsive.
Yes, I know people (the majority of the time) will only post if they have something bad to say BUT, this appears to be a BIG problem for many people who have updated to iOS4.
Apple need to be made aware of this and deal with it ASAP. Make me wonder how much pre-testing there actually was? At present, it's not really 'fit for purpose' and if there is anyway to downgrade back to the previous OS, I would without hesitation.
An update to address the issues would be appreciated.

I was under the impression that (in the UK at least!) the EULA is irrelevant as your statutory rights would take precedence. The _Sale of Goods Act of 1979 as amended in 2003_ states:

(2B) For the purposes of this Act, the quality of goods includes their state and condition and the following (among others) are in appropriate cases aspects of the quality of goods—
(a) fitness for all the purposes for which goods of the kind in question are commonly supplied,
(b) appearance and finish,
(c) freedom from minor defects,
(d) safety, and
(e) durability.
If something therefore becomes 'not fit for purpose' one would assume that it's a simple matter of mentioning to Apple/your mobile provider that it's in breach of the act above and a solution needs to be found before you contact Consumer Direct about the process for the Small Claims Court.

"BP Category 1 does not fit the data in category 2" "Replies Appreciated"

Hi Gurus,
When i am trying to create an "Individual Account" in UI, I am getting the error "BP Category 1 does not fit the data in category 2".
If i try to create a "group" then it says "BP Category 3 does not fit the data in category 2".
It allows me to create only "Corporate Account" i..e. Category 2.
What should i do to create "Individual Account" and "Group". (Category1 & Category 3).
Individual Account (Category 1) - "BP Category 1 does not fit the data in category 2".
Corporate Account (Category 2) - Able to create only Corporate Account
Group (Category 3) - "BP Category 3 does not fit the data in category 2".

Hope this SAP Note : 1232459, Solves your problem.
You might have created a custom configuration for corporate accounts.
Unfortunately in case of custom configurations exist, they are selected with higher priority.
So in this case the configuration for corporate accounts is also shown for individual accounts,
this causes error.
In order to solve this problem, create a custom configuration for individual account also,
i.e for view BP_HEAD/AccountDetails. Object type BP_ACCOUNT and object subtype INDIVIDUAL.
Please make sure that the custom configuration includes the fields firstname and lastname for
persons instead of name1 and name2 which are only allowed for corporate accounts.
I hope the above information resolves your problem.

CRM 2007 IC : error "BP category 2 does not fit the data in category 1"

When I am trying to save the data on the Bupacreate page it gives the error as follows.
"BP category 2 does not fit the data in category 1".
Can anyone suggest what is causing this error to happen and how this error can be corrected.

Hi,
This error usually occrus when you try to set field in without specifing bptype ie person, group etc. In our scenario we were trying to set field in Person which was not present in group. but since do_prepare_output method is same in both, that feild was getting set for group as well. When we placed restriction this error got removed.
