Text Not Lining Up Properly in Fillable Form | Acrobat 9 Pro

I have a number of documents that were created in MS Word and then I converted them to PDF through Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. A number of those documents have text fields that the end user will type their data into - example: a message area on a fax cover sheet.
The original Word document has that area lined such as this:
When that area (as shown above) is converted as a field in the "add fields" to the form in Adobe Acrobat I am deleting out the individual fields Adobe "detects" and instead making it one large content box.
Under properties I have "multi-line" and "scroll long text" selected.
Now the problem....for some unknown reason....some fields are working perfectly that when we type into the PDF fillin form that the text that is typed lines up perfectly with the lines (as shown above). In other instances it's not lining up at all.
I have played with font size, font type, spacing on the original Word document.I have scoured the internet and the forums with no success (either no one else is asking or I'm not using the proper search terms).
Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

You don't have direct control of the leading of a multiline text field. A common approach is to control the background color of the field with JavaScript since the lines are not really needed when the field is used in Reader/Acrobat. They may be useful when using the form by hand. Perhaps you missed that you started a discussion at I have OS 10.9.2 and have downloaded latest version of Reader 11. I can no longer fill in form or scroll using the side bar. and you did not respond to the last post there.

The printer is not lined up properly on portrait orientation.

HP Photo smart 7520 The printer is not lined up properly on portrait orientation. The margin at the top is too high and chops off all but the bottom portion of the letters on the website address. On Word all of my documents are set to close to the top with a larger margin at the bottom than the set up calls for.

Please check the paper size loaded in the printer input tray, the size requested from application (document size) and the paper size configured in the printer drivers.

Text not fading up properly

When I put test in a movie clip and fade it from 0 to 100 the
text fades up to 75% then pops to 100%.
anyone know why this happens and how to get around it - of
course my client noticed and wants the fade up to be smooth.
details: this is static text and I am using "import
mx.transitions.Tween;" to fade up the mc that contains the text. I

Text files don't show on fillable form after saving on a mac

I have a fillable form with text and check fileds on it, if a user filles it on a windows pc and saves it all works fine, but if a user does the same thing on a MAC then the text fields don't show.

Avoid touching any PDF (in particular any PDF form file) with Preview.

Why can't I see the text I enter when testing a fillable form using Acrobat 9 Pro?

I created a fillable pdf using Acrobat 9 Pro. I have done this several times over the last two years with no problems. Recently, when I tested my fields by typing in text, it didn't show up. Out of sheer frustration I just typed a staggering amount of letters and suddenly I could see a couple of letters, but they were chopped off at the top, and no where near the bottom of the field where they should be. What is going on?

I know!!! This is so frustrating. I have attached the document.

did change the size from "varies" to "10 pt."

Use Arts PDF splitter it gives bookmark after splitting the PDF. And the bookmark will be visible for the splitted PDF.

               }basically, this takes in a matrix which is filled with integers that represent if each node has a south, east, or a combination of the two.
It creates a standard box-size relative to the width of the screen and the height of the screen (set at 640 for each)
It then draws the ceiling and the left wall.
However, the ceiling and the left wall do not line up. That is, the outside wall does not occur at the rightmost point of the ceilling.
Can anyone see why just by looking at the code?

Document not showing properly when opening in Acrobat 9 Pro

When I create a document in InDesign and export it as a PDF, I want to see what it looks like as the PDF. One of the documents that I opened does not look as it should. It only has the photo on the ad but is missing the red background and the words on the ad. As a thumbnail, it looks correct. But, it is not showing up correctly when I open it in Acrobat. Some of the other ads are fine but this one in particular is not showing me all the elements. What do I do to fix this?

Yes, I have the most current version of AA9. I exported the document from InDesign using the PDF exporter. That is what I have used for years and it has worked fine. I just installed CS4 yesterday.
I think I realized what the problem is but I don't know how to fix it properly. I actually went back to the preferences in AA9 to the document color options in accessibility and changed it back to its original state (which, I believe, is where nothing is checked). I had originally changed it because I was trying to experiment with the background of the program. It's black and when I open a PDF, I can't see the black border. But I mistakenly changed the document color. Which brings me to the question of: how do you change the background color of the page so that I can see the black border on the document? I sell advertising so I need to be sure that when people send me their ads, they have black borders. And I can't tell when it has the background behind the document so dark. Acrobat Reader has a white background.
Additionally, can I still install the latest Acrobat Reader and use that instead of AA9 if I want to? It seems easier.

OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 not formatting properly to PDF using Acrobat 9 Pro

We have upgraded to OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 and are using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. With Version 10 I was able to format reports that, when printed to PDF, maintained the report format such as repeating the column headings, font style and size, number of rows per page and column width. With this new version the only thing I can control appears to be the column width. No other format styles are recognized. I've tried custom CSS Style settings as well setting everything individually but to no avail. Any thoughts?

Distribution of forms - Acrobat 9 Pro Extended

I prepared a form for distribution and used the "distribute via adobe.com" option. I input several valid email addresses and submitted the file, but nobody received the form and I received an error in my email saying invalid emails! I immediately tried again with the same result, even went to just ONE email address - no luck. Something about the outbound smtp server. I tried to get some free help - since I just purchased the software - from technical support but they never responded (it has been 3 days now).

I don't know who "outbounds6.obsmtp.com" is, but our corporate Exchange server is working perfectly because I just sent an email (successfully) to the same recipient as soon as I received this error message.

You can also follow http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload to try to recover your S/N. There are other ways for your existing installation too.

Design PDF form acrobat 10 pro

Ok so I'm making a PDF form for my school to make it easier for teacher to make hand made report cards. I have an issue where I have a grid Which is a 4x3. Is their an easy wy to create a grid in the PDF form so that the user can write inside each box? The way I'm doing it now is by making a text box for each grid but it's taking for ever since I have to do it for 5 grades for each subject.
I can send a picture if you guys need a better idea. I would really appreciate your help.

I re-enabled AcroTray and other acrobat-associated programs in msconfig at startup and have now checked all occasions of printing to pdf_printer that previously had led to a crash. Everything works well, now. (Although I do not know exactly why - I did not even have to resort to printing to file, as suggested. Maybe I had messed up in previous attempts to solve the problem)
