Text of InfoObject not transferred from PSA with DTP

I have a problem where master data text is loaded to the PSA correctly, but it is not transferred to the IO Infoprovider when the DTP is requested. What could cause this?

Hi,
there is only one way to bring it in BW.
in tranformation you will have to put ABAP routine for offset and put first 60 characters in first infoobject and rest 20 in another new created infoobject and this should be done in tranformation through simple ABAP routine.
Once populated you can combine these text in the report for display together.
There is no other way to put it in the Tables as BW doesnt allow more then 60 charaters.

i dont think so,user exit is required to solve this problem.
Actually the "TEXT" was transfering before 31.12.2008 .only the test is not transfering from 1st Jan 2009 to 30th jan 2009.
While debuging the standard programme,the error massage shows,
"Fiscal year varient not defined for the year 2009"
How can it possible??i already defined the fiscal varient V3(april to march with 4 sp.periods) and assigned to co.code.
If anybody have any idea,plz share with me.

My eyes just glazed over...Please in the future break down each of your issues with paragraphs separated by two carriage returns. It would be much easier when trying to address your issues.
Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Mouse
And edit your mouse settings to do what you want it to do.

Third, from my understanding, it would appear you are concerned about the noise the hard drive makes when it falls asleep? Why not put your machine in screen saver mode instead? Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Energy Saver turn off all Energy Saver settings, or set them to run Never.
Fourth, if your machine was purchased just a few days ago, you may still be able to get an exchange from the store, quicker than you can get a repair done. You may want to look into that possibility.
Fifth, it does appear you found the Logic forum. I would persist in asking there how to solve your technical issue with Logic regarding the audio. It may be you don't have to do anything special to the hard drive. Remember audio can be transmitted by wire, avoiding ambient sounds.

Why are Network Settings not Transferring from a Master DMG to the Desitination

Hi people,
can anyone assist me with finding out why Network Settings are NOT transferred from a source Master HD to a DMG to a Destination HD.
I have many hours spent trying to debug this - any pointers to a solution would be greatly appreciated.
Background:
I administer about 400 Macs of mixed types / generations (iMacs - MacBooks - MacBook Pro's).
We create master setups for different locations / purposes around the Campus and transfer these masters to DMGs.
We then clone the various macs as needed from these DMGs using a variety of methods including local (FW800 - USB) and network transfers.
The newest master (staffHD at 10-8-2) works perfectly but trying to clone / copy it by any method leaves out the custom network settings and you only end up with the default Wi-Fi / Ethernet / Firewire with total loss of the additional services and custom proxy settings.
Methods used to date to try the transfer (all get the same null result)
to-from DMG using Disk Utility
to-from Sparse Image via Disk Utility
to-from DMG using Carbon Copy Cloner
to-from Sparse Image via Carbon Copy Cloner
direct to 'target disk' via FW800 using Disk Utility
direct to 'target disk via FW800 using Carbon Copy Cloner
direct to 'target disk via FW800 using rsync -aHv
direct to 'target disk via FW800 using cp -Rv
Everything BUT the network settings transfer perfectly (excluding of course the usual trackpad / mouse custom settings).
I guess something is wrong with this master source but for the life of me I can't work it out. I have seen it in the past but it seemed to work itself out with the next revision - this one just wont.

thanks for the reply - I suspected a hardware issue or some sort of privledges problem, but as far as I know have only had this problem with Mountain Lion, and it still fails on hardware like to like transfers. I was hoping to avoid needing anything addidtional but it looks like I'll have to.

The actual date is not transferred from the (PS) milestone

In an order with header billing plan dates that are value-based, the actual date is not transferred from the Project System (PS) milestone, even though the actual date of the assigned milestone was changed via transaction CJ20N.
We are repeatedly facing this error , I have applied Note number 1395078 but still once in a while I am still facing the issue

Check the following path in SPRO
IMG - PS - Revenue & earning - planned revenues - Automatic Plan Revenue cal - Maintain Billing Plan Settings
There, you use the billing plan to plan dates on a WBS element whose payment requests or invoices relevant to sales are to be sent to customers.
The system updates the planned revenue and planned payment receipts to the relevant WBS element. The planned revenue is updated using the revenue element stored in the planning profile for the work breakdown structure and using the financial item assigned to the revenue element.
You make the settings given below for the billing plan. To do this, you carry out the following steps:
- Maintain billing plan type
- Maintain date description for billing plan
- Maintain revenue element for billing plan
- Assign billing plan type to project profile

Price is not transferred from materail contract to po

Dear Experts,
When i create a service po , the price is not transferred from material contract to po , for material po it is working fine.In debugging i got to know that it is picking up purchase requisitions package number , and not contracts package number.Can u guys help me out wid dis,my all UAT is pending becoz of this issue

hi,
when you create a service po, the prices from the Contract Service line items will flow down to Service PO when you make service selection in Service PO.
when you create servcie PO, and you enter item cat 'D', you have the option to select the servcies from your Contract by 'Service Selection' button.
If you use this, the price from contratc will flow to PO. Otherwise the prices will not flow.

Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

Item text and item note are not transfering from SRM to ECC on to PR

Due to some requirement we added some logic in BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW to print the used ID of the shopping cart creator on PR under item text requisitioner tab. but after moving these changes to production the item text(Vendor text) and item note(internal note) which are maintained in the shopping cart are not printing on the Purchase requisition under item text and item note tabs. these two texts were printing correctly before moving our changes.
please suggest me how this item note and item text will print on PR. Is it a standard functionlity in SRM 5.0?
is this because of move over changes?
suggest me to resolve the issue....

Header text in contract not transferring to PO

Hi,
I am creating a PO referencing a contract. I maintained header note in contract. Now, when I am creating a PO referencing to the contract the header note in not transferring to the PO. The F1 help in header note in contract shows if it will not be selected it will not be processed. When I selected and tried to save it the system shows no data changed.
Is there any configuration setting for this.

Hi Gaurav,
Header Text should certainly copy from Contract to PO just make sure these settings are available in system.
Go to OLME -> Purchase Order ->Texts for PO -> Define copying rules for header texts
It will show you several header text types
Select the text id go to text linkage here Source Object contract should be there (with Fix indicator blank or *)
if not then maintain the same and test again

Master data attribute not updaing from PSA

Hi all,
I am on 3.5, and the have a custom attribute extension to the 0CUSTOMER object. This attribute is populated in R/3, and populated in the PSA, but not the object itself, or the master data table of the object (/bi0/pcustomer). Has anyone seen this before, or can anyone recommend how to trouble-shoot this?

Hello David,
Please follow as Sudharshan and Dennis suggested, along with that
1. Check which type of attribute (time-dependent/time independent).
2. Then search accordingly in the table p/q table of customer InfoObject.
3. Try to search in m table of custome (/BI0/MCUSTOMER).
Attribute change run for the particular master data is must to see the data in tables.
4. Just check the Infopackage settings whether the load is till PSA or which option is selected(just to make sure whether the data is loaded till master data tables)- My doubt is the data might be till PSA and not yet processed from PSA to InfoObject, and you are searching the data in master data tables ;-).
Please let us know your findings.

Data not loading from PSA to infocube

Hi,
I'm facing a problem while extracting the data from PSA to infocube (On APO SIDE). we are using 3 infocubes and we extracting data in such a way that each infocube has only one unit of measure, so with the help of abaper, we have written a start routine in the transformation that for eg: the products with unit of measure KM should come only in the cube.But no data is coming into the cube and it is showing the following errors
From Abap Side:
It turns up with an error message. The error is generated at the start routine method. In the method abap code is added. the code is "DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE where VRKME NE 'KM'." Following is the error displayed :
1.) Call of the method START_ROUTINE of the class LCL_TRANSFORM failed; wrong type for parameter SOURCE_PACKAGE
2.) Exception CX_RS_STEP_FAILED logged

Could you please explain it in more elaborate.
V r not passing anything to DATA_PACKAGE neither using it. In the method call v r passing <_yt_SC_1> to parameter SOURCE_PACKAGE. And inside the method v have written the delete code as "DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE where VRKME NE 'KM'. "
Do we need to change the coding to "DELETE DATA_PACKAGE where VRKME NE 'KM'. "

Do not Extract from PSA but Access Data Source (for Small Amounts of Data)

In the DTP, the above option is available for Full Loads for certain extractors but not for others, particularly, certain HR extractors?
Is there a way to make it available for HR extractors? Is there a setting that needs to be updated in ECC or in BI?

There is no special setting for this, Please see the detail description:
Data is not extracted from the PSA for the DataSource; it is requested from the data source directly at DTP runtime.
Use
You use this mode for small data sets and full uploads, for example, small sets of master data. With file source systems, note that the file has to be available on the application server.
Dependencies
You do not have to create an InfoPackage in order to extract data from the source.
Data in the data source is accessed in "direct access mode". This has certain consequences, especially if you are extracting data from SAPI systems:
Data is extracted synchronously. This places a particular demand on the main memory, especially in remote systems.
The SAPI extractors may respond differently than during asynchronous load since they receive information by direct access.
SAPI customer enhancements are not processed. Fields that have been added using the append technology of the DataSource remain empty. The exits RSAP0001, exit_saplrsap_001, exit_saplrsap_002, exit_saplrsap_004 do not run.
If errors occur during processing in BI, you have to extract the data again since the PSA is not available as a buffer. This means that deltas are not possible.
In the DTP, the filter only contains fields that the DataSource allows as selection fields. With an intermediary PSA, you can filter in the DTP by any field.

Songs not transferring from iTunes to iPod puzzle

I update my iPod fairly regularly (mostly for podcasts) and I've noticed recently that a small number of songs aren't being transferred to my iPod when I sync it.
I converted one song that wasn't transferring from an mp3 format to an aac but still no joy. The songs play fine in iTunes and I've tried a manual update in just transferring the one song but that hasn't worked either.
Any ideas anyone?

The songs that are not appearing on your ipod, are they from artists that you have multiple songs? If so, I believe I might know the problem. There is a bug, and I will explain it the simplest way I know how to.
Let's say that I have 3 songs by Led Zeppelin, "Whole Lotta Love", "Black Dog", and "Moby Dick". Now, if I gave "Black Dog" a album title, and I left the other two blank, on your ipod it will skip the album select screen and go straight to "Black Dog", preventing you from selecting the other two. This will also happen if you have 2 songs (let's say "Whole Lotta Love" and "Moby Dick") labeled with the same album title, while your other songs are unlabeled.
To fix this problem, you must either give another song from the specific artist a different album title from the other labeled ones. Then the ipod will go to the album select screen, and allow you to select "All" which will display all of your labeled and unlabeled songs.

Purchased Music NOT transferring from ITunes to IPod

AArgh. I have an older version of IPod (non-clickwheel) with the latest vesion of IPod Software (2.2) installed AND ITunes 6.0 AND I've repaired permissions, restarted, all the common troubleshooting actions taken place.
My Purchased from ITunes music is not transferring at all to my Ipod. At one point even though I had the latest software I would get a message saying my Ipod Software was out of date , but that's not true.

I am having the same problem, but I just got a new 4th generation 20GB because my old one died. So I tried transferring my library onto the new iPod and it won't transfer any of the songs that I bought on iTunes. The error message says that my software is too old, but I just updated it numerous times. What is going on!?!?
