Text on screen is invisible

The text in my Captivate 8 project (almost every slide, almost every text box or shape with text) is invisible. They are also invisible on publish and preview. The layers are NOT hidden either in the timeline OR in the properties window. When I hover over the invisible text on the stage, the cursor changes to the hand pointer, and if i click on it, it reappears. Clicking and dragging over the area makes some text visible, but not others.
I can go through the entire project and click on every single text box, but if I save and close, they are invisible again on re-open.
Some of the text boxes are visible in the Filmstrip, and others aren't, even after I've clicked on them all to make them visible. Sometimes when I open the project, text boxes that previously didn't show are now visible, and some that previously were visible are invisible. It seems random on which text is affected upon each open.
I have tried the clear preferences .bat, I've tried having a coworker open the file on his machine (same result), copying the slides into a brand new project, saving the file with a different name, and contacting Adobe chat.
I don't know what else to do to salvage all my work.
Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?

The text is dark gray and the background of every slide (and every master) is white. There is nothing on top of the shapes. The master is behind.
Again, when I simply click on an affected text box, it is no longer invisible (I don't mean double-clicking to edit the text, just a simple click to select the box).
Every text box that I click on will remain visible until I save and close the project and then re-open. I must then go through and click on every text box on every slide again.
I appreciate the responses and know you're both just asking the obvious, but I'm by no means a newb. I am beyond certain that this is a bug.
I'm asking if anyone knows of a way to fix it so I don't have to start over and re-create all my text boxes. Or perhaps someone knows what might have caused it to happen so I can avoid this bug in the future?
So far, it's only ever affected this one project. I have many saved styles and a dozen or more master slides in template I've used for several other courses. I'm afraid to start another course using this template in case it's something in there that caused this problem.
I was working in this file for a few days before the bug started happening, but I haven't been able to pinpoint any particular slide or object that might have caused it. I tried deleting slides and library assets one by one to see if just maybe the text would magically reappear, but no dice.

Thanks for reading my question. I had gone through the Muse styles for links and that was not the problem. I tried it on a different computer this morning and everything went fine, even in altering the styles. I am not sure what the problem was.....only the cloud knows.

No Call or Contact Info on my Text Messaging screen

Ihave an iPhone 3G - but I don't have the Call or Contact Info button available on my text messages screen. It is infuriating to receive a text from someone not in my contacts list and (a) I can't call them and (b) I can't add them to my contacts as I don't have either of these options displaying on my screen within Text Messages. My friend has the same model of phone and does have these options available. I cannot find where to amend the settings. Please help.

Actually have found the buttons right at the top of all the message stream for each text.

IOS5 displaying phone number instead of name in text message screen

At the top of the text message screen, where it used to say the recipient's name, it now says their phone number. I cannot find any settings as to change this. It happens to others who have iMessage on. If they do not have an iPhone, or their iMessage is off, it still says their name.

I fixed this problem by:
1. Turn iMessage off
2. Turn iMessage on
3. Verify contact is in contact list
4. Deleting the text message series prior to the one you want to send. Say you've texed Bob Dole 1000 times, delete the entire thread. Then, hit new message, load Bob Dole from contacts, and send.
For me, this ended the above problem.

I had been having problems. with the phone shutting down.completely and when to verizon store they did a soft reset .and got me back on line.by closeing some app I was not useing

This is my second phone whats can I do to get this fixed once and for all.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Module Pool Programming - Radio Buttons & Screen Field Invisible or Display

Hi,
I have 2 radio buttons in my screen and both of them are checked or on. Not sure how to make one of them is on and other is off at a time. If A is off, i need to make few screen fields invisible or display. if A is on, i need to make the screen field invisible or input enabled.
Can you please suggest me a suitable way to accomplish this task.

then click on Layout in se51
in the Layout select the Radiobutton icon and drag/drop it on the layout
Define them as by double clicking on the radiobutton icon
First Radiobutton name : RB1, Groups : u can see 4 boxes,in the first box give group as G1
do the same for the Second Radiobutton RB2.
Now select both the radiobuttons RB1,RB2 both at a time and right click the cursor
Radiobutton - Define.
Then drag and drop a i/o field name : wk_name. save & activate the layout.

How to disable links which show up as highlighted words in all text on-screen

Recently (possibly since the installation of a "Flashplayer" update, certain words (usually nouns) appear as highlighted in any text on screen. When clicked on, the word-links open a new tab, dealing with a topic related to the word. These are annoying, and the highlighted word often cannot be read, as it shows up in red, on a background which may also be red.
I want to disable this "quick-link" ability. Please tell me how 'tis done. Thanks

Texting the screen won't rotate to horizontal

Just upgraded to ios 6 on my 4S. Now while texting the screen stays in vertical mode only. Is there a way to change this in settings?

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

That's weird that these iphones are restored/activated through iTunes. I have a Apple so I have iTunes, yay!! I am guessing that the link that you gave me will tell how to put this iphone into Recovery mode? Now, this old iphone would of been activated on his laptop, which is with him and he is out of state. I have a new Apple, his new iphone would of been activated on our new Apple computer because he was here for Christmas and he didn't bring his laptop with him, or did he bring it with him, I don't remember now.... Now the question is, will I be able to restore his old iphone on my new computer seeing it would of activated on his laptop which is with him out of state. I am so worried that I am going to lock up this phone now. I thought I deleted the orginal guestion, and rewrote it, good grief, lol Oh wow, you are a level 10, I would be at a level -10!

Print text to screen

Hi,
What would the best way to print text to screen in a java application? I know of textfields, are they any other way? the text should be acessable to users to select and copy and I dont think that you can do that with drawString.
I would appreciate any help you can offer.
