Text size and slide heading

Hi,
Is there a way to change the text size of the size panel, I'm talking about Diapo 1 - Diapo 2 Diapo 3... I can change the size of everything else except that...
Plus, does anyone know how to change the color of the slide heading ? I can't read it with my color background...

I dont understand the first problem clearly. What do you mean by Diapo 1-2-3
For the second issue, you may change the color of slide heading. follow the steps below:
1. Goto Themes under Presenter tab.
2. Under Appearance, change the font color.

Change text size and colour of report values ?

Hi,
I have a formula as part of a BEx query in version 3.5 and I'd like to make the values of this formula stand out more by either changing the text size of this one row and/or changing the colour.
I've already selected the "highlighting" option but this only changes the colour to a light blue colour.
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the text size and colour of one or more rows of a report?

Greetings.
Your requirement can be met by using exceptions. It can not change/increase the text size but it can give you color coding based on the conditions you set while creating query.
Open your query in Designer and click on exception button on the top menu bar. Define your condition on whatever key figure you want to get the color coding and execute your report.

How do I enlarge the text size and incease the resolution

I just switched to a new computer and suddenly the text on and off line is in tiny letters I can barely read. How do i enlarge it to its former size and also restore its former resolution?

If you have a LCD screen then you should only use the native resolution of that screen.
Increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx in 0.1 steps from 1.0 to 2.0 on the about:config page (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI) to change the size in the entire Firefox browser window.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)
If the content on websites needs to be adjusted after changing the pref then you can look at NoSquint or Default FullZoom Level.

Automatic change of text size and shape in pages from master

Hi,
I'm new to Indesign and I'm trying to write a long book which is more like a catalog. I've created a book file (.indb) in which various files (.indd) are inserted.
Each of these files will represent a chapter. All chapters must have the same aspect and layout and I can use styles for text and paragraphs. But I would like also
to control the position of text frames and pictures automatically from one master.
Is that possible? For now each time I create a text frame in the master, I can't change the text in the pages itselves. SoI've created an empty frame text, but then I can't
add text in the page. How can I do that without changing each chapter one by one?

Text size and preferences

I'm not sure exactly how to phrase the question as what I've
tried so far is not proving to provide the answer. Even if this is
a really obvious answer, I'm hoping someone will help me??? Or, if
the question is oblique, let me know!!! Please??
When designing pages prior to upgrading to DW8 (used DW4), I
had font sizes to choose from that were 1, 2, 3, and so on. In DW8,
when working on a page, my font sizes are 9, 10, 11 etc., similar
to when designing a print item, or they are small, x-small or
xx-small. Now, when I've designed a page to display the font in 10
or x-small and publish, it's relative to a 1pt the old way. But,
I've also noticed that when I make the font an 11 or 12, or small,
then the size is inconsistent in browsers - FF vs. IE 7 (which
makes it more like a medium or almost large).
QUestion is how to get my font sizes back to 1,2,3, turning
on the text type (to points, pixels etc.) drop down which is now
grayed out. Before, I knew that a font size 2 was consistent across
browsers and have been unable to find a way to get back to it,
short of manually going into the code, removing the or
 and reverting to 
Anyone???? I can't find this in help, as like I said, I may not be
asking the right question. I've set the pages up to be be Xhtml
trans. would that have something to do with it?
Also, how do modify the seemingly intuitive CSS that is
created for everything text? It appears to be adding considerably
more code to a page and I'm certain that there's a cleaner more
expedient way to format this. New to CSS as well and am
tutorializing myself on it - but meanwhile, the code view is full
of 'intuitive' css!!

1. DW8 has evolved and adapted to current web design
standards, CSS is becoming omnipresent and you
need to start learning some if you're serious about web
design.
2. the tag is deprecated, and it is replaced by
CSS. CSS is by far the best way to deal with
your font styles (as well as many other things), you won't
look back once you get used to it.
3. There is no more consistency bewteen font size in
deifferent browsers using than
using css such as:
.someClass{
font-size:12px;
or:
.someClass{
font-size:1em;
In all cases the size will be slightly different from browser
to browser.
Right now you are applying font styles via the Property
inspector (bottom of your screen), therefore
Dreamweaver creates many unique styles on the fly. That's the
'intuitive' way as you call it, but
it's not the best way at all.
Consider instead creating an external style sheet (open CSS
panel, create a new style, select
external style sheet, then link your style sheet to all your
pages). This will actually save you a
lot of code and make it easier to update/change your styles
across your entire web site.

info in Dreamweaver HELP, looking for css

UI (User Interface) text size and colors

Recent versions of Elements (7, 8, 9) have changed to a user interface which is predominantly shades of gray and black with few if any user options for color or font. The font size cannot be altered because Adobe use their own pixel-based font which is not compatible with Windows Desktop settings. So on many flat screens with high resolutions the font becomes almost unreadable. The upper case 'E' in the menu bar Edit for example, is a mere 2.03mm high on a 22" display at 1920x1080 resolution.
This has been mentioned a number of times over these releases to no avail, but at last there may be a change on the way for PSE 10 (later later this year?).

where there are a number of comments. This is monitored by Adobe so may influence the next release. The more request there are I suspect the more likely some action. Font sizes are hard-coded in teh apps and there is no way to change that. The new CC versiosn support high-DPI displays and resolve those issues (mostly).

To expain it bit more clearly.
Copy the images you need to use in the application
Open your application in package explorer<Navigator>
Now Expend node src -> mimes -> components -> your application name with full package now right click on it and paste all the images here.
Now go to web Dynpro prospective and use the image name (full name of image like columnName.jpg )to assign it to imageSource property of the Table_Header (Caption Header). The image will be seen.

Text size in Cover Flow in iTunes 8.1

In iTunes 8.01 if you right clicked in the Cover Flow area there was an option to increase/decrease the font size. I had mine set to quite a large size and it showed the album name on one line and the artist name on the next line.
I have installed iTunes 8.1 and the right click options are no longer available in the Cover Flow area and the size of text I had previously set is too large to fit in the Cover Flow area. All I see is the album title and about 10% of the artist on the next line.
Has anyone else had this and has anyone found a solution?
I have looked in the registry but can't find any setting that I could change.
I did think about re-installing 8.01 to reduce the text size and then re-installing 8.1, I'd rather not do that in case it messes up my library.

I have the exact same problem, I thought this new itunes 8.2 would solve it but it didn't. I'm running on Vista Home Premium with service pack 1.

Do you see problems with text size when importing from Photoshop?

We're working on improving some things in the Photoshop-to-Reflow workflow, and right
now specifically investigating trouble with imported text.
Aside from the desire to have support for local fonts, are there any problems you run into
when importing text from Photoshop into Reflow? We've heard some issues with text size and position,
but want to make sure we understand all of the cases.
If you have problems in this area, please share them in this thread, and I'd also love to get some

I'm using CS4.. and I'm using the standard "Save As" .pdf features....
and I'm reading it with adobe acrobat pro 9.1...
i think it has something to do with compression. but i can't figure out how to solve it. converting the text to symbols maybe?

If you're using IE, click on View, Text Size and then whatever size you'd like. You'll see the changes on the screen and it should print out the same way.

Cmd brings up dashboard, can I change it? I used to use it to change the text size in Pages

Upgraded to lion and all is good. However, cmd+ has been hyjacked by the OS to bring up the dashboard. I use cmd+ and cmd- to change the text size in Pages. Is there a way to change the Lion keyboard shortcuts to get the functionality back for Pages? The cmd- still works to reduce text size in Pages, so it's even more frustrating that cmd+ does something else.

Well on my MBP running Lion 10.7.2 Command+ or - does not do anything, and that is using either Command+ or Command(+ shift)+. I do not have pages installed.
The point is that Command+ and Command- should control the text size in Pages (we're not talking about any othr program, just Pages). Those are hard-set (programmed in the software) keyboard commands for Pages.
In Pages, Command+ should increase the text size, and not bring up the Dashboard. And that is the OP's problem - that command is bringing up Dashboard, which it should not do. Apparently there is some setting somewhere that is causing Command+ to do the wrong thing - and that's what we're trying to find.
So at least on my MBP Command+ certainly does not bring up the Dashboard....
Good - it's not supposed to, nor is that what the OP wants.
By the way, if you use Safari and/or Mail, you'll find that Command+ and Command- adjust the text size in those programs. Ditto Numbers, TextEdit, Bean, and many other programs - it's a fairly common assignment, hence not one which usually needs to be added via Keyboard Shortcuts.

Adjust Page Information Text Size

Hi,
I am new to this forum and hope that somebody may know how to help.
I have searched and not been able to find my specific problem.
I hope this is the right area for this problem.
I currently create seperations for screen printing in Illustrator CS2,
I then save them to PDF to be printed on our RIP.
My problem is that when I add page and file information in the PDF save
dialog box and RIP it to film, the page information is too small.
I was wondering if there is a script or action that can be applied either
to Illustrator or to the PDF save box that will allow me customise the text size and possibly other options when saving as PDF.

How can I see the size and colour of text in DW Cs5?

Hi forum, how do you see the size and colour of a piece of text in Dreamweaver Cs5, I have some text in a dreamweaver file which is a size I like and a colour I like and I want to make a CSS rule with these characteristics. How can you see what size and colour a piece of text is?

Above code is deprecated. CS5 will not pick up these styles in the CSS styles panel. Legacy sites are not simple to work with. They need to be converted to modern standards. You do this by stripping the HTML styles from markup and re-writing styles to CSS.
