Texting stuck in conversation mode only, why?
I have new Palm pre plus WebOS 1.4. All my text are permanently in conversation mode. When I look under help on the phone it shows the text creen with 2 buttons on the top. The conversation/buddies buttons never show at the top of the screen when I'm messaging. Is there a way to fix this since not all my text are one LONG ongoing conversation and it would help me track texts. I have already tried to reset the phone and the buttons are still not there.
Every conversation is in threaded view. If you are actually in a contact's message you will not see the two buttons at top.
The only time those buttons are appear is if you are in the main view where you can see the different conversations with different people.

IPhone 6 Plus Stuck in Portrait Mode Only
Today, my iPhone 6 Plus stopped switching to landscape mode and only works in portrait. The glitch is even there when watching a video in, say, the CNN or IGN Apps.
I know the iPad has a switch to lock the screen rotation, but didn't think the phone had this?
Has anyone else had trouble with their new phone being stuck in portrait?For me, it was as simple as that lock button, which I'd not noticed before, but yes, a hard restart usually fixes most issues. I did a restart first, so it spooked me when even that didn't work; which is why I posted.
I've also downloaded 8.2 and feel that it has fixed a few bugs I'd noticed. love the phone too. My case finally came, it's the Griffin Reveal; picked it up from that big online retailer.
The Plus has had some tough press for some reason, but I love it! -

and have no idea how to change it back to normal

There is not an option on the device to switch from "threaded SMS" style back to the old old style.
Your only option is to downgrade the operating system of the device back to what you installed before, probably OS 4.6 something. Do you remember what it was?

I got my phone stuck in recovery mode while trying to update I0S 7. I have watched countless youtube videos and read multiple articles to try and resolve this issue. I have done everything but, When i try to take it out of recovery mode as shown it puts it right back in recovery mode. This is a very annoying. Please Help Me
When your phone is in recovery mode, it's like it crashed. The only way that you can get it out of recovery mode is by restoring, and this erases all your data as well.
You can believe what you wish by "reading all over the internet". This is Apple's technical support forum. We do know what we're talking about.
since you have very important photos on your phone, why haven't you been importing them to your computer as soon as possible after taking them? This is how the phone is meant to be used. Keeping critical data on only a device which can be easily stolen, dropped and broken is just plain foolish. Also, did you not back up your phone (as you should be doing with any computer) before attempting any operating system update? As you've now just painfully learned, updates do not always go as planned.
I'm sorry for your data loss, but let this be a very important lesson. BTW, when was the last time you backed up your computer? I'm sure you have important data on your computer. Hard drives WILL fail. -
Why iPhone 6 Plus sound microphone not working, but in the case of sound recordings in conversation mode work?
Sighhhh, wasted so much time yesterday and today going around Sony centre and then carphone warehouse. They told me to come back after Easter.
I came home, banged the phone against the wall and it worked.
Turned out that mic was working on loud speaker and when using headphones so I thought that the secondary mic is working and the main one (placed with the speakers) isn't. So I banged that part against the wall slightly (in plastic case to prevent scratches) then put the phone underwater, waited for it to dry and now it's working. Idk how well and if it's of perfect quality again but people can hear me well. -
My iPhone 3G is stuck in recovery mode. When I connect to iTunes to restore it (It takes about 20 mins) it shuts off with only 4 mins left. Can this be fixed?

I can answer this question for you.You can't change the stock messaging application to turn off the conversation mode. You may be able to download a 3rd party application for messaging that could assist you with this feature.

Use the Toshiba recovery disk or the Toshiba HDD recovery option.
If you dont have the Toshiba Recovery disk try the HDD recovery:

If you installed the system using another disk as Toshiba recovery disk, this recovery option will not work. -

I would say yes. I once had the same problem (iPhone 5, IOS 7) and first restored to factory settings and after that from iCloud backup.

I was trying to update sofwatare for my iphone 4s, i got stuck with recovery mode and only option i see is to restore from factory setting. Do i lose all the the datas ? i did't had any backup. What is a solution?
If you didn't back it up, your data is gone. There is no "solution" after the fact.

My sons ipad2 is stuck in recovery mode. The only option on I tunes if to restore the iPad. However, he does not want to restore it and lose all of his things on the iPad.
Does he have a backup on his computer or iCloud?
