Texts and Images are displayed being around bracket
Texts and Images are always displayed being around bracket not depending on any web page.
Menu Characters on menu bar are also being abound bracket.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Everyone who logs into Facebook on my Firefox has this problem however if we use Internet Explorer - facebook looks normal.If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

Text and images not displaying, but some are
I've uploaded my site, and images and text are missing. 4 pages are great, but the individual property pages are half empty (missing images, icons and text) Its a school project, so, yikes! www.icm-mp3.net/group17/
thank you in advanceI should clarify, it all worked fine on my own server. Now, on the schools site, its missing photos going across horizontally, the lightbox that goes with, a text box, an image embedded with links. The remaining elements are in their places. Could this be a server issue?

Entire DIV (text and images) not displaying in IE7 & IE6, says Browserlab. All other browsers OK.
Please help. I am baffled. I have created this small web site here and Browserlab shows that when using IE7 & IE6, there is an entire DIV that is not displaying at all. All other browsers seems to be OK. I have removed all 'position' attributes, with no Z-indexing on anything. I floated the top left section (to the left) and then floated the top right section ( to the right). It is the section to the right that is not displaying.

What could be causing my display problems?

Dave F.Thank you. I had changed (and saved) the positioning to get rid of the absolute attribute. But for some reason, the change did not actually make it into my CSS stlye sheet. I had to manually code in the floats to left and right.
Then my problem was solved.
Now I just need to find out why my changes are not being properly saved in the CSS style sheet.

The text and image are printing much smaller then what I selected.
I sized the canvas to 8.5 and 11. I layed the pic out and used 24pt type, but when I printed it, it came out tiny and looked like 1pt type.
What did I do wrong?On the screen it might be that when using text the image is not zoomed to 100% and hence your text might look like big on screen but small when viewed at 100% of the image. Try viewing your image once at 100% and check if your font size is apporpriate. Else increase the font size and save and view in Photo Viewer or at 100% zoom in Editor and make sure it looks fine.
Also try to print on Adobe PDF prior to actual print out to make sure it works fine.

I can manually zoom the pages, but that is clumsy and has to be redone. Does anyone know of an easy setting fix? I am not too smart about this stuff--mostly trial and error, but I do want to be able to enjoy my wide screen. Thanks!

Images are not being display in people search for few users - why ?
Hello,
In my farm, users having profile picture in UPSA and they are able to see in My Profile page as well.
However when I find user in People search - images are not being display for few users while for others it works.
I have checked picture property which is indexed and then I run full crawl still its same issue.
Following are the settings for Picture Property - would you please let me know why its still not being display in people search ?

Need help with adding formatted text and images to Crystal Report?
Here's my scenario:
I have a customer statement that's generated as a crystal report and that has a placeholder for advertisement. The advertisement is mixture of formatted text and images. Until now we only had one advertisement that was always used on the report. The new requirement is that we would have a pool of hundreds of advertisements and would need to display one specific advertisement on the customer statement based on various marketing criteria. They key is that the advertisement content will be determined programmatically and cannot be hardcoded into the report. I'm using Crystal2008 with .net SDK.
Here are the solutions I thought of, but I'm still rather lost and would appreciate your help/opinion.
1) Pass HTML or RTF to the report
Not really sure if this is possible and how to get it done. Also how would I pass in images? Would display formatting be reliable when exporting to PDF?
2) Create each add as a subreport and append it programatically
I actually have this working, but I only know how to append a new section to the end of the report and then load the subreport to the section. I have no other controll of the placement. Is there a way to dynamically load a subreport to a predefined section in the main report? How about adding a dummy subreport in the main report as a placeholder and then replacing it with a different subreport? How could I do this?
3) Pass an Image to the report
I would create each advertisement as an image and then would somehow add the image to the report. How would I load the image and control the placement? Could I somehow define a placeholder for the image in the main report-maybe a dummy image to be replaced?

I would got the third way.
You can use dynamic images in your report.
Just by changing the URL to the image the image can be changed.

Scrolling Text and Images in Flash CS3
I am pretty new to Flash and I have spent all day trying to
look up tutorials on making it possible to scroll text and images
in Flash but none of them are working for me. I know you save the
content into a movie clip but that's as far as i have gotten. would

Pausing a sequence of text and images
Ok, I have 6 tabs down the side of the main screen where
users can hover over to select which tab to view. All they do is
hover to select the tab - no clicking. The sequence changes from
tab to tab sequentially (if a tab is selected then the sequence
just carries on from the tab that was selected. So it starts on tab
1 if the user hover over tab 4 then after that tab information is
displayed for 5 seconds then tab 5 will play then 6...) with each
tab having its individual text and images.
My problem is that I want the whatever tab the user is
hovering over to stay. So I will only want the sequence to carry on
running when the user has not got the cursor on a tab.
I am at the stage at the moment where I can select any of the
tabs (they are buttons) by hovering over them by using the goto
text, then the sequence continues. I need the sequence to stay
until the cursor is off the tab. One other thing, each tab is set
to display for 5 seconds before it changes again.
Someone please help. I feel as though this may be quite an
easy problem to solve?!?

I routinely combine 10 lines of 36 pt bible or lecture text to a suitable background using Boris Title 3D.
Many times the text is too long to fit the screen using Boris, so I devide it into 2 or more parts with no transition between sections.
In my case, the text is on the screen as the speaker quotes them.

Ive just updated to LR 6 from LR 5.
The app seemed to launch ok but as I was looking around none of my photos will open in the developer module, they just have a blue box with white cross??It seems to be something to do with Lightroom 6 accessing the GPU. I had this problem and under the "Performance" tab in "Preferences" (Edit menu), there's a box that says "Use graphics processor". I unticked this box and now the images are displayed in the developer module. I'll need to investigate further to find out why Lightroom is not working with my GPU but at least I can use it now.

Conditional Text and Image based on Excel column values

I have an excel file which contains data that needs to be imported/merged in an InDesign document. I have converted that file into a CSV... I'm unable to figure out how to create document using Data Merge after evaluating some conditions on data ... Example InDesing document layout is like below and will be repeated for say 200 data rows...

Text 1, Text 2
Text 3
Image
Heading 1, Text 1 and Text 2 even Image value will be set after checking some condition like below

-- Thanks.Data merge can only reproduce one layout, so you can't merge 200 rows and then change things unless you do it in separate documents and then combine them. Of course anything you can do via scripting or manually on a regular document you can also do to a merged document after the merge is complete.
It sounds like this is a multiple-records-per-page scenario. TO do that you set up ONE instance only of what you want to merge, in the upper left position on the page. ID then duplicates EVERYTHING that is on the page as many times as will fit using the spacing parameters you provide. This means you need to be careful with frame sizes so they don't extend beyond where they should, but it also means you can add a no-fill, no-stroke frame as a border or bounding box to make it easier to get a precise size to be used by each record. Frames in merged documents are not threaded from record to record (though there are methods for doing that after the merge, if desired), so deleting a record normally leaves a hole in the page.
If you have master page items, it's probably best to us the "none" master before the merge, then apply the correct master page after.

How can i copy line with text and image to ms word
When I insert an image in textflow using InlineGraphicElement it works, but when I copy the line with the image to MS Word it copies only the text (not the image).
How can i copy the image to MS Word?If you want copy formatted text and image to MS Word, you need to give MS Word rtf markup, because Word can recognize rtf markup but not TLF markup.
So you need to create a custom clipboard to paste a rtf markup. It's a large feature for you, because you need a tlf-rtf converter in your custom clipboard.

Printing text and images together on a single page (printjob)
Hello all,
how am I able to print both text and images on the same page (defined by one printjob), using the javax.print API?
It seems that one printjob (one page) can have only one flavor, that is text, or GIF, or JPEG, etc. Since the majority of print jobs out there usually require text and graphics on the same sheet this seems a bit strange.
I have resorted on creating a PDF file through the iText library, and then printing by converting to GIF (quality is significantly reduced though, not an option), or by using the Acrobat Reader command line from java (looks dangerous for batch printing). My printer does not support printing directly using the PDF flavour.
So, I solved the problem by converting to PDF, but printing is still cumbersome. Any other ideas?

Ari.TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
