Texts in PO Printout

Hi Friends,
                             I am not getting Item and Header Texts for Import Po document type. Where as for remaining document types, I am getting the texts. Can anybody suggest me, what can I do?
Regards,

K,
Have you checked to see that the texts are assigned to the document type?
> IMG: Materials Management > Purchasing > Messages > Texts for Messages > Define Texts for Purchase Order
If you are expecting text from a Purchase Requisition to copy to the PO but nothing copies, check your settings in IMG for copy control
>IMG: Materials Management > Purchasing > Purchase Requisition > Texts for Purchase Requisitions > Define Copying Rules - - Pay particular attention to the "Fix" column where you define if text can be...
>"  " = Automatically adopted to Target object (physically copied)
>" * " = User selects whether or not text is to be adopted (via a button on the PO text tab)
>" N " = Cannot be adopted to the target document

  • SAPSCRIPT - print of scanned text

    Hi Guys,
    I have the following problem:
    We would like to print the scanned signatures of 2 persons at a orderform (sales order).
    The form is an sapscript form.
    For every sales order we have 2 persons which are responsible.
    Now we would like to print the scanned signatures of these two persons,
    as there are several possible combinations of these two persons we don't like to scan the signatures of every possible combination, but every signature in a seperate standard text.
    The printout should look like this:
    (Signature 1 - standard text 1)       (Signature 2 - standard text 2)
    Mr. Mueller                                       Mr. Maier
    The name of the person should be printed exactly under the includes standard text.
    Thanks for your help
    Manuel

    Hi Manuel,
    As far as I can see, just need to scan the signatures and make a bitmap for each signature. Then you can upload them to SAP via transaction SE78. Finally you can output the signatures in your sapscript form using the BITMAP command as described in SAP note 307414.

  • Printout of Transfer Posting/Scrapping transaction

    Hi Friends,
    I am able to take the printout of Goods Receipt(101 Movt. Type) and Goods Issue (Movt.Type 201 & 261) only. I am unable to take the printout of Transfer Posting:storage location (Movt. Type 311) and Scrapping (Movt Type 551).
    I am using the T-code MB90 for printout of GR and GI. I am using Output type WA03 for GI and WE03 for GR.
    But when I select WA03 for printout of Scrapping document or Transfer Posting Document, the system gives a message "No message for Initial processing exists". Should I use WA03 as output type or should I select something else.
    Please guide for the printout.

  • Gr slip printout

    hi
    what is meaning of
    individual slip
    colective slip
    individual slip with text in gr printout tell me in layman language

    hi
    Check following if usefull to u
    1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
    2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
    3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
    4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
    5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03,  (for returns use WE03) ensure the foll:
    a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
    b. Print Parameter is 7
    6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Pr Det by Pl/StoLoc, maintain the Output device for all your Plants
    7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
    Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
    8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
    9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately.

  • High volume Printing for GLM?

    I understand from various sources GLM can support high volume label output provided the correct enhancements and support packs are installed and configured.  This may include updates to WWI.  We are currently running ECC6 EHP5, SAP_BASIS 10, EHSM 3, WWI 2.7
    I would like to get this communities inputs.  Our requirement is to generate >2000 identical labels via GLM.  WWI processing today is long (5+min) and the output is large.  Ideally system would generate 1 label with indication to print 2000 times.  Our labels include barcodes and symbols and can be complex.

    Dear Richard,
    The functions of GLM is well explained as Christopher said and using GLM, you can print labels more than 10000 witha  sequential data output. To support such large quanitity of data to be printed on labels, you may need a special printers like the Zebra High volume printer. The WWI server is equipped to print large volume of labels using specific printer plugins.
    High volume printers can be used to print print requests with print files that are too large or that contain more than 32,768 labels to be printed. The HVP is designed as a printer driver for Microsoft Windows and is connected to the label printer via a plug-in.
    With the HVP, only one page with all static data is sent to the printer. The HVP then receives all of the sequential data via an interface and automatically supplements the sequential data in the printout. The HVP also integrates changing bar codes or texts in the printout.
    The Zebra 170Xi4 is one of most popular, industrial-strength printers on the market. This rugged metal unit prints 1-color labels up to 6.6" wide, with 300 dpi print resolution in thermal or thermal transfer mode. Its extra processing power equates to speeds up to 12 inches-per-second. This one is perfect for tough applications including compliance labels, product labels, and shipping labels.

  • BPM Process is not started

    Hi All,
    I defined an Integration Process which is triggered by an Asynchronous message
    (Receive step with "start process" checked).
    The trigerring message is sent through the HTTP Adapter
    (See: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/82/f4993c03e0cd37e10000000a11405a/content.htm)
    and routed in the XI to the Integration Process I defined.
    The java code I use to send this message is attached:
    URL url = new URL("http://sapxi:8000/sap/xi/adapter_plain?" +
         "namespace=<my_namespace>&" +
            "interface=<my async interface>&" +
            "service=<the portal business system>&" +
            "qos=EO");
    URLConnection urlConn = url.openConnection();
    urlConn.setDoInput (false);
    urlConn.setDoOutput (true);
    urlConn.setUseCaches (false);
    urlConn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "text/xml");
    DataOutputStream printout = new DataOutputStream(urlConn.getOutputStream());
    String content = getXMLInput();
    printout.writeBytes(content);
    printout.flush();
    printout.close();
    Alas, According to SXMB_MONI_BPE, the integration process doesn't start.
    Also, There is no record of the sent HTTP message in SXMB_MONI.
    I used the same code with slight changes with a synchronous HTTP message
    and a S/A-Bridge Process.
    The changes were:
    1. no "qos=EO", which is for asynchrounous message.
    2. urlConn.setDoInput (true);
    3. urlConn.getInputStream() to get the http response.
    This way worked: S/A-Bridge Process was started, and I saw the message in SXMB_MONI.
    I couldn't find why it doesn't work in the first scenario.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks ahead,
    Yoav.

    Hi Krishna,
    I can't reward points right now (probably temporary unavailable).
    I will reward 10 points as soon as it'll be possible.
    When I tried it with the client you pointed out to it worked.
    I noticed that this client prints a response also when the message is asynchtonous.
    When I added a input read from my UrlConnection:
    1. urlConn.setDoInput (true);
    2. urlConn.getInputStream() to get the http response.
    it worked perfectly.
    I guess the HTTP Adapter sends an acknowledgement also for asynchronous messages,
    and discards messages if their sender doesn't get this acknowledgement.
    Many thanks,
    Yoav.

  • PIXMA MG2120 trying to print EVERY job in color

    So after a BUNCH of testing and realigning, I've found that the printer is trying to print using color. When I keep greyscale selected and even changed cartridge use to "Black Only" in the driver settings. That's when I try to print and it says "Printer will use color cartridge for this specific job." Even when the picture itself is black and white. Even when I try to print normally, nothing shows up...which LEAD me to believe it keeps trying to print in color...which is empty by the way. Not wasting an extra 30 bucks on color I'm never even going to use. Can anyone help?

    Hi technofreak,
    Although you have the printer set to print in grayscale mode, and the black only ink cartridge setting selected, if you use the duplex (double-sided) printing option, or select a paper type other than PLAIN PAPER (such as a photo paper, envelopes or labels) in the printer driver, the color ink cartridge will be used to produce the black text on the page, even if the black ink cartridge is selected.  In addition, some web pages and PDF files have coding embedded in them that will constitute the use of the color ink to produce the text on the printout, even if the black only option is selected.  In these cases, we cannot force the printer to print using only the black ink cartrdige in the unit.

  • JTable printing and multiline footer

    I am trying to switch to Java5 JTable printing. I had a 2 lines footer text on the printout before. With Java5 I tried it this way
                    Printable printable = thistable.getPrintable
                        JTable.PrintMode.FIT_WIDTH,
                        new MessageFormat("title"),
                        new MessageFormat("line1" + "\n" + "line2")
                    );  On the printout only one line appears, the \n is ignored. Is there a possibility to have multiline footers with Java5 table printing?

    On the printout only one line appears, the \n is
    ignored. Is there a possibility to have multiline
    footers with Java5 table printing?From my experience no. You may have to roll out your own printing
    code
    Don't mind if i ask but why do you want a multiline footer?

  • Color cartridges used up

    Why are my color cartridges being used up even though I only print in black.  This has started recently.

    Hi abbymac,
    There are several reasons why the color inks could be consumed, even when printing only in black:
    1. Duplex printing is selected. If you print double-sided pages, a combination of the color inks will be used to produce the black on the page.
    2. A paper type other than PLAIN PAPER is selected. Any other paper type selected other than plain paper will utilize the color inks to produce the black and other text and images on the page.
    3. Our printers have a print head cleaning function that is performed automatically. Each time you turn off and then back on the printer, the print head nozzles will be cleaned during printer initialization to ensure the inkjet nozzles are dispensing the ink correctly. If the printer goes into a power save mode, when it comes out of that mode, it will also use a small amount of the color inks to clean the inkjet nozzles to ensure optimum print quality.
    4. Some web pages and PDF files will use color inks to produce the text on the printout, even if the grayscale option is selected. In these cases, we cannot force the printer to print using only the black ink in the unit.
    Hope this helps!

  • Documentation on applescript for printing in mail

    Is there any simple way to tell mail to print a message using applescript
    Something like this (setup to run with a rule):
    using terms from application "Mail"
              on perform mail action with messages theSelectedMessages for rule theRule
                             repeat with theMessage from 1 to count theSelectedMessages
                     -- Process the current message
                     display dialog "test" buttons {"OK"} default button 1
                     print theMessage without dialog
                             end repeat
              end perform mail action with messages
    end using terms from
    The script has no isses trigering from rules set in mail but I can't for the life of me figure out the right context to get the "print" command to work or even find any documentation on it for mail.
    I have tried tons of diffrent varents of what to put after the "print" command but have yet to get it to do anything.
    I know that you can save all the contense of an email into a text file then use textedit to print and I have had no issue getting that working but a lot of the emaills I need printed now are formated with graphics with html so all you get is a garbage text file to print.
    Also messed with like:
    keypress "p" using command down
    To try and manuly get it to print from mail but still no luck.
    I have tried to get this working on 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8
    Ideally I want this to work on 10.7 not sure how much mail has changed between versions when it comes to applescript.
    Anyone have any insite for doing this or am I just crazy thinking this should be a simple applescript?

    Yes getting the script to auto save out as a PDF would also be an option but as with the print command I have yet to find a way to get it to save out as a full PDF ony ways to save out the text and then have it made into a PDF.
    http://macscripter.net/viewtopic.php?id=25865
    This is the script I have gotten working but it only really extracts text.
    I know it can print attachments properly but I'm looking to print the body of an email that is formated in html.
    Notes
    Please note, that pergamail currently doesn't support fancy HTML eMail very good. You won't see any pictures or formatted text in the printouts from pergamail. Maybe this can be overcome in the future by parsing the raw source of the eMail messages with a Python/Ruby/Perl script, then extracting and saving the HTML part, and finally printing it with the «lpr»-command. Maybe.
    Future
    Currently pergamail creates text files from incoming eMail messages, but it would be much better to directly create HTML or PDF documents to get more control over the print layout. previmail alreday uses an advanced HTML template and Colendarshows hot to create a PDF on the fly, so I might just need to invest another weekend to write an improved version of pergamail
    As far as im aware it was never really updated to handle html formating properly.
    I also played around with previmail script and it does extract the text better out of an html formated email but it still only gets the text.
    I am looking for a more 1:1 way of printing an email.

  • Reports 3.0 Printouts (Text Mode)

    1) We have been trying some printouts from the reports runtime by clicking on (Report Builder 3.0.4.6.3/Developer forms 5.0) the printer icon available on the menu bar and also specifying the appropriate print properties in the
    print dialogue box and the print out is satisfactory (dot matrix printer

    of the respective text items but we have not been successful in getting the

    printed text should be in BOLD STYLE for selected fields in the generic text

    2) Our second requirement is we want to try printing pre-Printed cheque leaves(continous stationery) from the reports runtime by clicking on (Report Builder 3.0.4.6.3/Developer forms 5.0) the printer icon available on the menu bar using (dot matrix printer/generic text).

    hello,

    2) good question. not really. the file is a text file and excel
