Texts with emoji's sending as mms only

I recently updated to 4.3 and whenever I send a text with emojis it sends as an mms message and that just drains my batter and drives up my data plan, is there any fix to this?

Emojis, emoticons, formatting text with color or special fonts, attaching photos or videos - all are MORE than SMS - Simple Message Service. SIMPLE, text only messages.
Anything more converts or is sent as MMS, requiring a data connection, although it only counts as a text message and does not dip into your data allowance.

The Apple Messages app can only message to othr iOS devices with the Messages app. To Message iPhones yo yese either the phone number or the email address they have set up to use for Messages. For iPod touches and iPods you Message them using the email address they have associated with Messages. It is usually their Apple ID email address.

My cousin isn't recieving my text messages. We never text through imessage because she is never connected to WIFI. Now, when I text her, it is sending through imessage but she isn't recieving them.

She insists she has imessage turned off on both devices. I don't know if this has anything to do with her setting up her ipad, but my texts to her started sending through imessage only right after she set up the new device. My texts are being delivered somewhere because after I text her, it says "delivered" I can also recieve texts from her, she just can't see mine. Again, she said imessage is not activated on either of her devices, so I have no idea what the problem is. She is able to text other people with iphones just fine. We both have an iphone 5S, and she just got a used ipad mini. PLEASE HELP!!

It is no wonder she is not receiving your messages if she has iMessage turned off in her iPad.
For her to receive iMessages on the iPad, she needs to turn iMessage ON in her iPad and then she needs to be connected to the internet in order to receive them. This connection can go through WiFi or through cellular data if her iPad has this functionality, but those two requirements are a must.

2. iPad connected to Wifi or cellular data.

I fail to use Jeditorpane to display a text with big5 encoding correctly.
It only show machine code.
I am using jre1.6.0_17. Yet it works well with earlier version of jre like jre 1.6.0_15, and jre 1.6.0_16

My point is - do not type 'something like' the class name - get it right so we can be sure. Programming is a technical business and programmers need to be very accurate. It is even more important to be very accurate when asking for help on an forum. People have very little time to 'hold your hand' about the correct spelling and capitalisation of class names - or anything else for that matter.

IMessage only can send text with photo but not text only

How come my iMessage can only sent text with photo but not text only. While entered text the send button is blue and gray.the button could become blue and white when only photo was being inserted. My iPad 2 iOS version 5.0.1.

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

The first run of Messages will ask you to enter an Apple ID to "register' with iMessages.
If you do not do this but open the App and look in Preferences > Accounts then you will see the iMessages account and the Bonjour Account which will not be activated.
Neither of these two account can be deleted. (even if not being used)
If you then press the + icon to add you will get the choices you posted.
To iMessage you need to "register" and Apple ID with the iMessages service.
As Diane then points out you can link this to your iPhone number.
This "syncs" (Displays on all devices) the various iMessages sent to either iPhone or Apple ID
You can then chose on both iPhone or Mac version how or which ID/Number is going to be used to "Start the conversations from"
I have my Mac version set to start from my Apple ID and the iPhone from it's number.
At this moment the Mac version cannot send SMS text messages to an iPhone.
This is apparently coming with iOS 8 and OS 10.10 (Yosemite)
An AIM account can send SMS Messages but only to a limited number of USA based phone users on these carriers.
(Basically you add a phone number with country code +1 as a Buddy to your List)
Mocked up number (It not really an auto responder although you do get sent back and Error message about it not being valid)

Have you tried contacting Vodafone to make sure MMS messaging is enabled on your account?

I have been having this problem for bsolutely months now with my iPhone. Now 3 phones later (3GS), new sim card, new number and some network fiddling with my account by O2 I am still having this problem. What happens with me is if someone send me a long message, usually if it is over 4 texts or longer (sometimes happens with just 3) then the phone wont receive it. This will then, 9 times out of ten, lock the phone up meaning I cant receive calls or texts or make calls or texts. I have to turn off then back on, or turn airplane mode on then off to unblock the phone. After apple not knowing what the problem was, and O2 not caring, I did some testing myself. When I restore the phone it is fine, when I install apps it is fine, it is only when the apps have been loaded up for the first time especially ones that save ur login in details such as facebook. Once they have been used, and closed down, they seem to affect the network and not let large amounts of data in such as a long texts. Now to me this is a carrier and Apple problem surely. Not allowing texts messages through cause apps are taking up to much bandwidth!!
I am in the UK and on O2 in the Portsmouth area. Strangely though, this problem doesn't happen when I am in Bognor. It is almost as if there is less people using the bandwidth there so O2 have more space to puch the messages through despite the apps restricting the amount.
Any thoughts? I think this issue needs to be made more public for networks and Apple to look at!

with wifi you cant send text messages. you can turn off imessage anytime and send text messages only through your network carrier.

Generate a file with the data entered through segments through we19 ,and use the same file for processing through we16.
when i am trying to do this syst complaing about
Partner Profile not available, and some times
port not available. and some times with
'No further processing defined'.
but i maintained part profiles and port perfectly.
Can you help me in testing with test 'File' port.
