My texts dont vibrate?!?! Everything else does and i have went through all my settings and am pretty sure i have everything right!!! can someone suggest ANYTHING!? thanks

I've just realized fir some reason My iPhone wont vibrate when i get a call,text,e-mail or anything else. I checked to make sure in setting that vibrate was on and it is but still nothing. I like to keep my phone on silent for school but if it wont vibrate that doesnt help very much. Please help!

Before going to the store, can you check that you did not activate the Do Not Disturb mode mistakenly? You can do so by doing a slide up from the bottom or in the settings.

Blackberry wont vibrate

Some jerk on ebay sold me a blackberry that he listed as being fine but doesn't vibrate. It drives me bonkers that it doesn't vibrate and since I bought it on ebay I can't return it to the manufacturer and for the same reason there is no warranty. I suspect that the phone may have water damage and that is why it wont vibrate but then today I did a battery pull because my email was acting odd and when I put the battery back in I received about 3 text messages and my phone vibrated with each and everyone one and then continued to vibrate for about 10 minutes before going out again.
THUS, I must conclude that the vibrator motor didn't go which was my original assumption but then if it had gone and needed to be replaced it would not have vibrated randomly for about 10 minutes today. So I was wondering if there was something else that might be causing this? I read online that sometimes if a battery is bad and not strong enough that it could cause the vibrator motor to not vibrate because it isn't getting enough juice and that would explain why when I did the battery pull and put it back in maybe it was aligned just right that it got enough juice to vibrate.
I'm hoping someone can confirm my theory or tell me something else that might be causing it to act crazy.

It's hard to tell if it's the battery or not. You could just look at your battery level indicator and see if it's got lots of juice in it but what if your battery indicator is not accurate?
I'm going to suggest reloading the OS to your phone. Doing this will make sure everything in your OS, including the software that displays your current battery level, is running properly. I suspect this might solve your issue if you're still getting the vibrate function to act intermittently.
To reload your OS, you need to plug your phone in to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software. Once your phone has been recognized, click Device at the top of the software then Update. Since you might not have connected this phone to BDS yet, you might not have many options for loading different versions of OS. If a recent version appears, load it. If it's not showing much, click View Other Versions if that is displayed and load the OS with Currently Installed beside it.
Have a go at that and keep us up to date on your progress.

Interactive pdf issue, text wont show up when playing the slidewshow

I am having a hard time trying to figure out how i can add text on top of am mp4 file and making it work once exported as an interactive pdf. For some reason the mo4 plays fine but the text will not show up. It seems like it will work fine when i look at the swf preview windon in indesign. I can add text a to a page with an im image in the back and that works fine. But not sure why the text wont show up if its an mp4 file instead. anyone have any sugestions?

havent really worked with buttons on Indesign. But I do recall converting the text into an swf file, and placing it on top of the mp4 file, the text is above but its simply a big white box, rather than it just being the text, but thanks for letting me know why it is that my text would never show up haha, It was getting on my last nerves, I may just simply go into my psd file and adding text over all the layers that made the video then using just the mp4 as the first slide without having to go in and adding text with indesing. Hopefully there is a way to work around it, I hate rendering videos with photohsop, takes foreve.

Have you done a restore of the phone to see if that fixed the problem with the speaker? If that doesnt help then you probably damaged something inside the phone when you dropped it.
If you're annoyed by the problem, you can always get a replacement phone

Go to settings app> sounds> then at the top it says vibrate> then click vibrate on ring and vibrate on silent if you wish. That way if you have it in your pocket, and can't hear it ringing, you'll know you've got a text, phone call, etc.

Text message vibrate instead of alert sound

i am in a text message conversation screen (as opposed to the main message screen that lists my messages), and my phone ringer is on with vibrate activated. however when i receive a text message within the conversation, it only vibrates with no sound alert. is this normal?

Even just going back to the list of converstatoins (button in top left) you will not get alert sound while in the App. Again, it assumes you are looking at it and seeing the indicators pop up for number of messages etc for each conversation.
You have to be out of the app for it to give a sound.
If you are not expecting a msg right away then why stay in it? Press home and go back to home screen and wait.

Text wont appear in indesign cs5.5

im trying to start a new document but when i draw a text box and try to either type or paste in text nothing comes up, the courser wont even move to its not that the text is invisible it just isnt there in the first place?

In Settings, go to Sounds > Text Tone > None. This will completely turn off sounds for Messages. Unfortunately, there is no way to set only messages on vibrate. You can set the entire phone on vibrate, but not just messages.

MMS Text wont go through....:(

I have (or thought I have) downloaded the update to my iphone for mms texts. However, when I go to send a picture, it wont go through....help!

Check to make sure you have at least OS 3.1 installed on your iphone. If not connect the iphone to iTunes and check for updates again by clicking Update" on the Summary Tab. If you have at least 3.1 installed follow this article. Also make sure your carrier settings are up to date as these settings is what gives you the MMS feature. Hope this helps!!

MY IPHONE WONT VIBRATE! HELP?!

My iPhone will not vibrate. I have done everything possible and nothing has worked. I've been two hours looking for some solution online and can't find anything. It will not vibrate for anything. Phone calls, texts, emails, notifications, etc. HELP!!!

Does the iPhone vibrate when you switch the ringer switch?
Try resetting or restoring the iPhone.
If those things don't take care of it, the iPhone will need to be sent back to Apple for repair, head on over to the Service Answer Center for the iPhone.

N8- No text tone, vibration or pop ups.

This is a re-post because I wasn't getting many answers in the other section.
My N8 doesn't play any tone when I get a text message, it doesn't vibrate or give me a new message pop up either, it just Flashes the menu button. It has already been to Nokia to have the firmware flashed once so I hope it isn't a software problem again.
Anyone have the same issue of have a solution.
Note: I'm not using the notifications widget on any homepage so I don't think it would be that.

Okay I'll try this but you should know I turn my phone off every night before I go to bed so it doesn't bother me in the night. So I would say turning it off and on again won't fix it. I have zero messages in my inbox now so I can't really do what you said.
I think I'll try the soft reset to see if some settings were wrong to start with.
