Texture filter does not show option menu (PSE 10)

I had PSE 10 installed on my Vista PC, which I have replaced with a new Windows 7 PC.
I re-installed PSE fresh from a new download.
Before, when I clicked on the Texture filter, I was shown a screen where I could choose Canvas, Sandstone, Brick, etc., the size of the effect, the direction of the light.
Now, when I click on Texture, the texture is immediately applied to my selection, and I don't have a chance to look at options.
Just in case there was a problem with the install, I removed PSE and re-downloaded and re-installed. Still behaves the same.
Is there a control or option I'm missing? I don't remember having to do anything to get this behavior the first time I used PSE.

When I turned on my device the inbox mail was empty, in time machine does not show options to find old back up, only inbox is not listed... how I can get my inbox emails back?

I turned my macbook on and all the emails of inbox were gone. In time machine, only the inbox option does not shows option to get back old back ups... how I can get my inbox emails?

I figured it out. I couldn't see the old backups because the sparsebundle had not been properly unmounted in a previous session, so it kept giving an "already in use" error. The problem was solved by restarting the Time Capsule through the Airport Utility, mounting the sparsebundle by double-clicking it, and then going through the "Browse other backup disks" option in the Time Machine menu bar icon.

if your Spry menu is triggered on 'hover', it will not work on an iPhone as touch-screen phones cant do 'hover'.
any menu with NO hover (mouseover) effect or trigger will work on touchscreen devices. Pick a menu plug-in that doesn't have any associations to 'hover' factor.
as most touch-enabled menus will still contain hover rules or mouseover javascript handles. Even most JQuery menus will contain :hover rules.
There is no disagreement about that with you, Al.

Stor.E TV does not show the menu - cannot access the files

Are you able to set the Stor.E TV to default (factory) settigns?
Choose:
Setup -> General Setup -> Default
But if you do not see even this point then I assume that this Store TV does not boot anymore and this might be related to a hardware malfunction :(

HP-photosmart 6280 all-in-one with osx 10.9 now does not show options for printing photos from the photo tray.

Mail won't display the viewer window, and it will not close (force quit does not show in menu bar). Can't shut down to reboot because the open mail program prevents it. Any advice?

Mail does not show the viewer window even when new viewer window is cliced. I tried to close mail and reopen, but it will not close, and force quit option does not appear in window bar. I tried to shut down the computer and reboot, but it cannot close because of open mail program it says. Help!

My speed grade does not show a menu on my mac, like I see in the tutorials

I had bought the speed grade as a part of creative suite production premium, but it does not have a menu like shown on the tutorials, and it also does not have the noise reduction option. Do I need to activate speed grade separately through some channel or am I doing something wrong, I need to use it for a documentary I am making and I am an amateur to this world of post production. I would be thankful to people who may be able to help in this regard.

Radial filter does not show in Photoshop CS5

Hi,
I am using the trial of LR5. I have made some adjustments with the Radial Filter. When "opening as a smart object in CS5," the radial filter adjustments do NOT show up. Crop does, basic exposure adjustments, but no radial filter.
Anyone know why? Would it show up in CS6? I do not want to go to CC.

Just so you understand, LR5 can pass the Radial data to ACR 8.1 in CS6, but you won't be able to alter the radial filters (or any of the LR5 only features) unless you go to ACR 8.1 in Photoshop CC. So, a SO in ACR 8.1 in CS6 will still be limited in terms of what you can and can't do in CS6.

My Toshiba AIO does not show boot menu when presssing F12

I want to recover my AIO LX885-D3310 by USB stick that I bought in Toshiba. The issue is when the Toshiba screen display and I press+hold F12 key but it does not effect and it run direct to Windows screen.
Anyone know this problem, please help me.

You need to shut down Windows 8 completely. One way to do that is to depress the Shift key when you click Shut down.
When you upgrade to Windows 8.1, be sure to follow these instructions.

Photoshop CS2, Mac version, filter does not show

Hello,
I m compiling Dissolve sample plugin for photoshop CS series.
I succeed to compile CS3 and CS4 version since there is a xcode project.
I can see the plugin in the filter menu after I launch photoshop.
It works perfectly.
BUT, as for the CS2 version, I succeeded to compile it by changing CS4 sample project... But I could not get it to show in the filter menu.
The sample project is codewarrior based, so i cannot use it.
I m using Mac OS 10.5 and xcode3.
Any sample project to compile CS2 filter around?

The problem occurs when CS2 or CS3 see both the PEF and Mach-O versions and cant decide which to use. Since you can't even build for CS1 from Xcode I'd suggest you at least keep them as separate installs, even if they are shipped together. How you sell and support of course is up to you.

IMHO, there is error in doc -- CS2 can't see Mach-O version, only PEF (exactly as CS1) -- at least in my tests.

Lightroom 5: AppleScript: action "AXShowMenu" in Smart Collection panel does not show context menu

We are developing a simple automatization tool using Lightroom 5 (the newest version of the CC) using AppleScript.
For some actions, we need the context menu in the Smart Collections panel, for example to import Smart Collection descriptions.
According to the documentation and various sources on stackoverflow and elsewhere, AXShowMenu should bring up that menu.
So far, I have not been able to make that context menu pop up.
Using UIElementInspector and UI Browser, I located the element which does have the AXShowMenu action attached. Based on the code provided by UI Browser, I got the following script, which I run from the Applescript Editor:

But … nothing happens.

Just for the records, I did ask the same question on Stackoverflow, and there I got an answer which does work. This solution uses a little Python program to really simulate mouse clicks.

Scanner does not show up in PSE 9

I've used Photoshop Elements 5 for several years and my Microtek Scanner always appeared as a choice under the "import" menu. Now I spent money on this supposedly improved version of PSE, version 9, and there's NO TWAIN SCANNER. I have to scan through the scanner's software and then open in PSE 9. An extra step I've never had to take in Photoshop Elements or Photoshop before. This is an improvement? I've reloaded the latest version of the Microtek software. Still nothing under the pse9 import menu. Can this be fixed or is this a permanent "improvement" to PSE 9. I'm really put out by having to go through this extra work to get my new version to work as well as my old version. About ready to scrap 9 and count it as a loss and never buy another upgrade to this product. Adobe, why do you do this to me? What's the fix or is there one?

I found the legacy twain_32.8ba however when I try to find the "into" location, and I typed it very carefully..there is no path to this location.
I can't understand why Adobe would do this to me. Do they expect me to go out and buy another scanner? I've written to Microtek. All previous versions of Elements I've had import from this scanner and I've installed the latest scanner software. It's horrible that I have to throw away the money I spent on this so-called upgrade and go back to a previous version. Who thinks up this stuff?
I hope other potential purchasers of 9 understand what they're getting into. I would also like to get rid of the bothersome "ID interface" at the beginning..I would like to get to Photoshop edit is quickly as possible but Adobe is putting me through some sort of merchandising of their "free" web space. Photoshop CC - Liquify filter does not show all tools. Freeze is missing.

The freeze tool is not pictured on the left with the other tools. I can access freeze by pressing the "F" key, but there is no way to unfreeze since that tool is missing as well. Any ideas how to fix this? Only seven tools are seen now.

Freeze is not available if you do not check "advanced mode" on the right column.
If you prefer to work in the non advanced work, the unfreeze, Thaw Mask tool's shortcut is "D", or, once you've selected the Freeze tool by its shortcut, hold down ALT.

The camera raw filter does not show up on the filter drop list on Photoshop CC

I am trying to determine why this is the case. If anyone knows I would appreciate you help. So far everything else seems to work.

Specifically, you won't see the new features just announced until June 17, when Adobe releases Photoshop CC 14.0. Likely you have 13.1, which is current right now.
