Thai input source not correct

Thai input source is not correct. I do have a dual keypad and did not have a problem on Mavericks OS.....Please help

In order for anyone to help you, you really must provide some more detail regarding "not correct".    Exactly what keys are not producing the results you expect?
Also it is vital that you tell us which Thai layout you are using, since there are at least 2, Thai and Thai - PattaChote
Finally you should tell us what app(s) you have the problem with.  Note that MS Word for Mac is a special case as it does not officially support Thai.

  • [SOLVED] ALSA input source not not saving on reboot

Just in case anyone else has a similar issue....
An annoying recent development was the ALSA input source not being restored on rebooting. In particular in my case the internal digital microphone on my Dell XPS m1330.
The audio chip is Intel-HDA, reported as "STAC9228" by alsamixer. The primary 'sound device' is alsamixer is listed as PulseAudio, with Intel HDA being an additional device (F6). Under the F4 capture tab, there are 3 input source options, the first kept on resetting to 'Mic' instead of 'Internal Mic 1'. Mic is the front analog mic jack, and as a result there was no Skype microphone functionality each reboot. Easy enough to use alsamixer to reset to the correct input when required of course, but annoying nonetheless.
I tried deleting asound.conf, ensuring alsa was (and wasn't) running as a daemon and using alsactl store, all to no avail. I already have !snd_pcm_oss and !snd-pcm-oss in my rc.conf, and Skype is not controlling any levels.
Finally solved by adding 'alsactl restore' to the startup programs (gnome-session-properties).

[UPDATE: Internal microphone no longer working under kernel 3.1.1-1 and alsa 0.24-3.]
    Sigh.

    Hi all -
I'm trying to record with the mac's built-in mic, but the only input sources I'm offered are (built-in input)!
How do I get Garageband to recognize my built-in mic? I went to System Preferences and then to Sound and clicked on Internal Mic for the input source.

  • How to get input source line number

I wrote a XSLT transformation that checks the input XML for errors.
When the transformer finds a problem, it can terminate with <xsl:message terminate="yes">, which outputs the line number within the transformer XML source. I do so in my implementation to indicate errors.
But i need to output the line number of the input source, not that of the transformer source, because this is the location of the error.
Anybody knows how to do this?
How can i get the current line number of the input source XML text?

    Hello Fritz!
XALAN reads the entire input file (SAX) before starting with transformation.
So overriding the input stream is no way to find this line number.
I think this would have to be a built-in XSLT functionality within the tag "xsl:message".

Before upgrade from Maverick to Yosemite my US key board matched the diagram shown in Input Sources in Key Board Viewer.  Now it has symbols in different locations that do not match my keyboard.

Check System Preferences/Keyboard/Input Sources to make sure that is set correctly. If so, would you post a screen shot so people can see what you are seeing? Make sure you cover any personal information using Preview. Post the screen shot in a Reply using the camera icon or you can drag the screen shot into a reply. Copy and paste doesn't work.

    Hi,
When i create the word template, the bookmaks and the cross-reference referred to the bookmark update correctely. The problem is when I try to change the bookmark using "report generation from template vi" the bookmark change but not the cross-reference and the error generated is "Error! Reference source not found".
I make coople reasherch and i think they have no solution for this because : "if the text in a heading referred to in a cross-reference is revised, the cross-reference to the heading may no longer work" (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/troubleshoot-cross-references-HP005189368.aspx).
To "resolved" this problem I create an other bookmark in the template who have the same value white the principle bookmark.
I use Labview 2011 and Micosoft office 2010.

  • Error: Derivation Source object, DIMENSION_NAME , is not correctly bound

    Hi,
I have installed Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0
and OWB 10.2.0.1.0 on Windows XP Professional.
I've created a simple MOLAP dimension with a default hierarchy and one level within it.
I've maped it to source table, deployed and loaded it. I can see its data.
    Description of dimension:
    Configuration
    Deployable: yes
Deployment options: Deploy to Catalog only
    Storage
    MOLAP
Generate surrogate keys in the analytic workspace
    Attributes
    NAME::IDENTIFIER::DATA TYPE::LENGTH
    ID::NULL::VARCHAR2::25
    CODE::Business::VARCHAR2::32
    NAME::NULL::VARCHAR2:255
    Problem:
When I trying to derive definitions I receive an error in wizard: Derivation Source object, <DIMENSION_NAME>, is not correctly bound.
As result, there are no business definitions there.
This problem goes with all my MOLAP dimensions.
Please, maybe somebody faced with this trouble...

    Hi,
Are you trying to Derive this into the Business Defintions area? In that case, this is not supported. For MOLAP objects you can use Discoverer and use an OLAP connection, then you will see your dimensions as query objects.
Derive only works for relational objects (e.g. ROLAP storage), and that is why you get that error (not bound) as the MOLAP object is not bound to a table.

  • SNOTE (Note Assistant) list expected "source code corrections" of a note?

Is it possible, in current versions of SNOTE, to print the "source code corrections" that the note is supposed to contain?
This was possible in "good old OSS" and also, I think, in early versions of SNOTE.
    Why do I ask?
Sometimes you have a note that SNOTE cannot handle by itself. You must then open the "splitscreen editor" and guide SNOTE through the process.
In such cases I like to have a listing, on paper, of the expected changes, so that I keep some overview and that I can check the corrections as I go through them.

I have found a second possibility - the following little program based on some code found in the 4.6C implementation of SNOTE.

  • Input source settings not retained after log out/restart

    Hi,
This was happening in Mavericks as well, and I have just upgraded to 10.10.1 hoping it would solve the issue.
I frequently need two input sources (US and Czech QWERTY Keybaords) for my workflow. But everytime I logout or restart, the computer resets the input source to Czech (not QWERTY). I have never selected this keyboard, but it always resets to this default.
Is there a plsit file or something I can delete? I bought the computer used from a friend in the Czech Republic, but I am Aermican and would prefer default system languages and keyboards to be US English. I do, however, need the region settings set to Czech Republic as that's where I work. So, calendar, numbers, currency etc. should be Czech, but all other system language US English.
    Thanks for any help.

    Its OK
Updating the driver worked, seems it wasnt binding the NVIDIA Config to the xserver

    Dreyfus2006, welcome to the forum.
I suggest going into Control Panel / Troubleshooting / Hardware and Sound / Recording Audio.  You can run the troubleshooter to see if it finds the problem.
Also, have you uninstalled and reinstalled the microphone in Control Panel / Device Manger / Audio inputs and outputs?  This may allow you to install the latest driver.
Please click the " Thumbs up + button" if I have helped you and click "Accept as Solution" if your problem is solved.

  • Recording voice not working (no input source selected)

I'm using Garageband 10.0.3 (and Mavericks 10.9.5) and until very recently I could record voice tracks without using a mic - it would record using the in-built mic. Now whenever I try to record my voice, I get the "No input source selected" error message, and it pops up regardless of what I choose in input/output settings in Preferences. I've also tried it with my iMic plugged in (which I use to record guitar), but I get the same error message and nothing records.
Any ideas? Do you now need to have a mic plugged in for Garageband to record voice?

Is monitoring turned on? Then disable it or plug in a headset. Otherwise will GarageBand not record from the internal microphone to avoid feedback.
In the System Preferences > Audio pane select the internal microphone and adjust the recording level. I noticed that the recording level is set to zero by default, whenever I look there.

  • Keyboard input source change not being saved.

Since upgrading to 10.9 my original French spec Mac Mini reverts to French Keyboard input source when I close down, even after resetting keyboard input source to British PC on the login screen when booting up. Is there a more permanent setting option stored elsewhere?

    Hi Brendan,
Thanks for the link. I did go into system preferences and checked that British was the default setting. In fact it was the only setting. Have subsequently done a bit more research. Up to now I have been changing input source at the initial login screen from French to British. I have just typed my username and password in using a French keyboard layout without changing the input source from French. It gets me in and the default input source is showing as British, which it is picking up from the system preferences. So there must be a setting somewhere that is specific to the login screen.
Done some more searching online and it looks like it may be a bug!

There seem to be a few workarounds https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5485931
However, I have not worked at this level on a Mac before having a background in Windows support, Only recently getting a Mac. The last comment looks like some kind of Unix stuff, which I know OSX is based on.  Is there an idiots step by step guide anywhere to carry out the plist edit etc?
