  • Thai language Problem with Labelshop start (External design program)

    Hi all,
    In my project, we have designed form vai Labelshop start and then import it to SAPscript.
    Now we're facing the problem about Thai language when we test running. Thai language in ASCII format is not correct.
    Anyone please advice the possible solution for this problem. If this problem is about font in Labelshop start program, please advice how to import new font to Labelshop.
    Thank you very much,
    Anek.

    DiskStudio - Create or remove a partition without reformatting your hard drive.
    http://www.micromat.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=33
    With DiskStudio you can:
    * Add new partitions to your hard drive.
    * Delete partitions previously created by Apple's Disk Utility or DiskStudio.
    * Erase and reformat existing partitions in a number of standard formats.
    * Completely erase and repartition an entire hard disk.
    Use DiskStudio to:
    * Install a new copy of Mac OS X, but keep your original copy intact.
    * Install a completely different operating system, such as Mac OS 9, on a new partition.
    * Create a partition to hold special projects, such as audio or video files.
    * Create a partition to hold scratch space for programs such as Adobe Photoshop.
    When a hard drive is first set up for use, it is partitioned into one or more logical volumes. These appear on your desktop as though they were separate drives. Using the standard disk tools that come with the Macintosh, there is no way to change this partitioning scheme without completely erasing the entire drive and starting over. With DiskStudio, this is no longer necessary.
    DiskStudio provides the tools you need to control how information is stored on your hard drive. An easy to use, non-destructive disk partitioner has been requested by more of our customers than any other type of utility. DiskStudio fills this important need for Mac OS X. With DiskStudio you will be able to quickly and easily change the way information is stored on your hard drives as your needs change over time.
    System Requirements:
    * PowerPC G3 or better. (Beige G3 machines not supported)
    * Mac OS X 10.3 or greater.
    * CD-ROM or DVD-ROM.
    * 256 Megabytes RAM or higher.
    Cost is $50.

  • Language problem with Safari!

    I can't view the Arabic language correctly with "Safari". I chose the "Arabic (Windows )" as my "Default Encoding". I'm using "Safari 3.0.3 (522.15.5)". My OS is "Windows Vista Ultimate". "Arabic" is my current language for non-unicode programs. I don't have this language problem with neither "Internet Explorer 7" or "Firefox 2.0.0.7". I really like the "Safari Web Browser" but this problem si really annoying. How can I solve it? Thanks!

    Try to run nightly version of Safari: http://nightly.webkit.org or wait for final version of Safari. Localization issues are major known bugs in Safari.

    the question marks are very weird to appear!!!!!!It failed to understand your unicode sql.
    it was working fine on a windows XP environment prepared for arabic language, but when i had to move to windows vista it did not workStrange. Maybe you need to compare the differences of some system properties on both hosts, for instance, sun.io.unicode.encoding, file.encoding, user.region, and so on.

  • Discoverer Viewer Locale language - problems with data retrieved

    Hi all, I have a very strange problem.
    I'm using Discoverer Viewer 10g and when I connect to the same eul/database using Locale: Locale retrieving from browser, I see all my data different from "0" into my report; if I choose Greek as Greek's language I see ONLY "0" as data.
    All the queries for the reports are always the same, but something has problems with the language chosen.
    This doesn't happen, for example if I choose another language (Italian or French for example), but ONLY with Greek !!!!
    Anyone have had a similar problem in the past ?
    Thanks in advance
    Alessandro

    It appears as though there is a general JDBC problem. Please make sure your JDBC client is up to date with the Server. We have seen data conversion problems when there was a mismatch.

  • Language problems with std reports

    Dears gurus,
    We are facing some problems with standard reports due to translations...
    We have 4 languages actives at our ERP System, DE, EN, ES and PT... The completation Language is EN in all cases...
    The SMLT Import Logs for both languages (ES and PT) and completation with EN are not showing errors, but if we import at last the Language ES, the reports runs OK with logon language ES but with PT as logon language all texts are showed in DE, even that the completatin language is EN. If we re import PT language the reports runs OK with logon language PT but with ES as logon language all texts are showed in DE...
    Had anyone faced the same problem and solve it?
    Thanx a lot!!!

    Garth, we found that the reports with problem was created or provided by SAP trough Report Painter or Report Writer.
    We can solve the problem recreating the "Report Group" in the logon languaje that works bad. To do this you have to find in which Report Group  is the Report that you are running and using transaction GR52 complete attributes for this group, save (Logged in with the language that shows the problem)  and the problem is solved.
    I hope this helps you.
    Thanx
    Regards
    MJ

    anyways, you summarised well.I tried with following,read the file,did string manipulation then simplay wrote to a file with require character encoding.

  • Problem with Microsoft ODBC for Oracle Driver

    I tried to import table in MS Access with Microsoft ODBC for Oracle Driver, but a msg error appeared:
    "Reserved error (-7776); there is no message for this error"
    I think the problem is about Microsoft Jet, but i'm not sure.
    Does anybody already had this problem?

    Given that you're using a Microsoft front-end and a Microsoft ODBC driver, I'm not sure how much help you'll find on this forum. You could try substituting the Oracle ODBC driver to see if that improves anything.

  • Has anybody had any problems with the ODBC driver version 10.2.0.2.0?

    Hi,
    I have experienced a problem with my current version of the ODBC driver (version 10.1.0.2) and have been advised to upgrade to the newest version 10.2.0.2.0.
    As the driver was only released a couple of months ago, I am a bit wary about upgrading. Has anybody out there had any issues with the reliability of this driver or does it seem to be pretty stable?
    Thanks very much,
    Caroline

    Sorry, forgot to mention it is on linux.
    Setting SetJavaHome in the jdev.conf did not help.
    I did find a way to at least start the IDE though.
    Either comment out SetJavaVM in the jdev.conf or start jdev with the -client option
    Also to note:
    I downloaded the jdk 1.4.2 32 bit for x86 and i can't get jdev to start:

  • Problem with jdbc:odbc returning incorrect number of rows.

    Hello,
    Am sure i have done something stupid, but i have an issue with jdbc:odbc ....
    It is a simple sceanrio that i have coded umpteen times before ...
    I have the following ....
    1. Connection to DB2 on an IBM i5 (I apologise for not using native drivers from jt400.jar, but i had an ODBC code example and was in a rush - no excuse i know)
    2. Statement object created from connection above
    3. A string with my SQL in it
    4. A result set for the results.
    These are created as follows:
    Class.forName( "sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
    con = DriverManager.getConnection(ODBCSource, userID, password);
    if (con == null) {
    // error handling not relevant here
    } else {
    Statement s = con.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE, ResultSet.CONCUR_UPDATABLE);
    String SQL = "select * from table";
    ResultSet rs = s.executeQuery(SQL);
    i then try to loop ....
    while (rs.next() )
    // stuff
    however, i only ever get one result .... if i stick in the check for isLast, the first loop hits this check, i get my little status message, and the loop ends.
    while (rs.next() )
    if (rs.isLast() )
    System.out.println("I am on last record");
    BUT if i run the SQL
    "select count(*) from table" ... i get a count of 148 !!
    I tried setting the FetchSize through setFetchSize(), but made no difference.
    This is running on a JBoss server 4.2.1GA, JDK is "jdk1.6.0_02" .... i have a suspicion that this may be a JBoss specfic issue, as this exact code runs just fine on the Domino platform that it was originally on, if this is the case, i apologise for wasting everyones time .... but would still appreciate any pointers you can give me.
    Cheers

    Hello,
    Thanks for the reply, I am not sure i follow what you are saying.
    I only mentioned JBoss as it is the application server that we have deployed to and because the orignal code ran fine on a Domino server, I will take your advice and try to run it through in debug rather than running actually on the application server.
    Am i incorrect in my assumption that if "select count(*) from table" gives a count of 148, i should expect 148 records in a result set created from "select * from table" ? This is all rather new to me so i apologise if this is incorrect, I'd love to know why this is incorrect so i dont make similar mistakes in future.
    Also, If i run this same code on the previous platform, i get 148 iterations of the code contained within
    while (rs.next() ) { ... }
    When the war file is deployed to JBoss, the same SQL statement gives a result set that only iterates once for
    while (rs.next() ) { ... }
    The previous platform as I say was domino, but it was running as a lotus notes java agent (despite not using any notes documents etc) as it happened to be where the web pages that call this process were located. It is possible that some of the main code has changed as I had cut and paste the code into a servlet using MyEclipse, but i have double checked the bit that does this SQL request and it is identical
    To complete the picture, the new servelt is then called from the action tag on the submit form on a JSP, when it ends the servlet redirects via the requestdispacher to success or failure jsp pages depending on the outcome of the processing.
    Thank you again for your help.

  • Language problem with streets in Brussels

    Dear,
    I have a problem with the Maps application on my Nokia 3710.
    Street names in Brussels (Belgium) are only available in Dutch. The equivalent name in French is between brackets, but it is impossible to search the street using the French version. This is very frustrating, because you don't always know the Dutch equivalent name of a street everyone - including the expats - calls by its French version (Brussels is 90% French-speaking.)
    How can I fix this?
    Many thanks in advance

    hi there,
    I just tried "boucher bruxelles" and got "beenhouwerstraat (rue des bouchers) brussel (bruxelles)",
    so it seems to work perfect with search. Shouldn't be a problem that dutch comes first in the resulting bilingual result.

  • Problem accessing informix ODBC 32 bit System DSN using Microsoft Query external data sources in Microsoft Excel 2010

    Hi all...
    I'm hoping if anybody could help me. I'm using Microsoft Excel 2010 + Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I've installed the informix client sdk for odbc drivers to create odbc 32 bit connection. Before this, i had successfully installed in
    another Windows 7 Professional 64 bit PC the informix client drivers and configured the odbc connection for it. During that time, i can access the 32 bit ODBC using the microsoft query from the Microsoft Excel 2007. But now...in the new PC, even though i had
    successfully installed the informix client and manage to configure the 32 bit ODBC for it, my Microsoft Excel 2010 can't call/recognise the 32 bit ODBC connection as if the Microsoft Excel 2010  only called the 64 bit ODBC. Is it in Microsoft excel 2007
    it is possible to recognise the 32 bit ODBC but the Microsoft Excel 2010 can't? Is there any solution if my Microsoft Excel 2010 still want to use the 32 bit ODBC connection.

    Hi,
    Excel 2007 has only 32-bit since 64-bit applications for Office are available only for Office 2010. Thus, you can use
    32 bit ODBC between Microsoft Excel 2007 & Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Now, you are using Microsoft Excel 2010 64 bit & Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, thus, you must install the 64 bit ODBC drive. If you still need to use 32
    bit odbc drive, please use 32 bit Excel 2010. Here is the detailed steps:

    I have 2 datasources configured are test correctly. So, the database connection is established.
    Also, I put informis drivers in the lib directory of the server, and on startup they are picked.
