My iphone 5s (7.1) has permanently the search icon, as if searching network. This affects the speed of email and consumes a lot of battery. This happens even with all applications closed. I have restored the iPhone but the problem persists. Does anyone have an idea of the solution?

I have lost the toolbar at the top of screwen how do i get it back
i have google as home page, but seemed to have lost the toolbar at top of my screen which has bookmarks and other info stored up there to make it easier for me to get to frequently used sites. Iam not real computer savvy so all this has been set up for me to make it easier to operrate on my behalf
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.
*Firefox menu button > Options
*View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the hidden Menu bar)
*Right-click empty toolbar area
Use Toolbar Layout (Customize) to open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
*check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar setup

My iPad 1 is very unstable. Many Apps simply crash after opening. There is ample storage available.I have restored the iPad twice now and still it is unstable.
Is this a lack of backwards compatibility because no-one writes apps for IOS 51.1. and the original iPad anymore? not even Apple, as the documents and sheets I create on my Mac are incompatible with my iPad now.
My naievete tells me that this is simply Apple expecting us to upgrade to later levels of hardware. If so, very disappointing for an Apple fan. Seems your App developer approvals (even your own apps) do no require compatibility with anything but IOS 6 or later.There are various things to make your iPad more stable. You can try deleting all apps from the multitasking bar; do a reset ie hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears; Settings > General > Reset all Settings.
If you had the previous version of iPages (version 09) on your Mac before upgrading to Pages 5.2, your Mac should still have that version in Applications, which is still compatible with your version of Pages on your iPad.
If you don't have that version, you can 'Export to Pages 09' which is still compatible with iOS 5.1.1. -
How do I delete an old iPad from my iCloud? I have restored the iPad to its factory settings and linked my new iPad however the old one is still showing in my iCloud.

You can and it depends on what you are referring to. For example, are you wanting to remove you old iPad from the Find My iPhone feature, you can do that at iCloud.com and the steps for that are in the first article. If you are wanting to delete an old back up, then check out the second article to walk you through those steps.

After upgrading to IOS 8 on my iPad I constantly get a temperature warning despite the fact it is cool. Did not happen with IOS 7. I have restored the iPad to factory settings with the problem not resolved.

I changed from one iPhone to another and backed the first one up to the icloud. I have restored the content to my new iphone but cannot download the photos. Any advise will be greatly appreciated

Photos and some other items are added back after the restore has completed, you may need to wait a while. -
I am NOT a Verizon Customer nor is my number a Verizon number. So why am I receiving automated spam for them saying "Verizon we care about you. Thank you. And have a nice day"??? Who do I contact to get them to stop? Most everywhere I've looked required me to be a Verizon Customer in order to contact them....Even calling the number back tells me to enter my number and then tells me I'm not a Verizon Customer. Dial 611. Then hangs up on me...
This is one of the drawbacks with cellular numbers. The device number at one time was used by a Verizon customer. They may have changed it or more than likely ported to the service you are on then either gave it up, or changed it. You as a customer then get it.
The only solution I can recommend is have your service change the number. However depending on who had it previously you may have more texts and spam calls. Or may get lucky and get none.

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. <br />
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

iTunes keeps giving me the message that my iPod is currupted. I have restored the iPod and reloaded iTunes but keep getting the same message. What's weird is that my iPod will connect to another PC and that my PC will connect to my daughter's iTouch. Any ideas? My iPod was working with my PC for years and just started getting this error.

Trying to download iTunes 10.7 in Windows 7 64-bit. When I click the download now button, it immediately goes to the "Thank you for downloading" screen, but the file has not downloaded. Popups unblocked. Any thoughts? Thanks!
