Dear whom read my question
I have windows server 2012standard edition with windows 7 ultimate clients
I want to show some items of control panal through group policy so I went to user configration - adminisstrative tempelets -control panal-shom the specified item
and then I add wha t I want (region and language, devices and printer)
and make gpupdate for booth server and client but they did not show in control panal so plese what the cause ?
please any one can find me the real answer

Based on your description, we can run cmd command
gpresult/v on client machines to check the group policy result and keep us posted.

HELP. ............Hi folks hope some one can help me please.Having a problem in Bridge I open my images in ACR, as I open files in a folder and lets say they are labeled in yellow they are all going back to the camera raw default , in other words no matter what work I have done, inc cropping they all go back to ,as they came out of camera. What on earth is happening? I am on PS CS6. I might point out everything was working normally up to yesterday, when this first started.
I recently changed computer to 64bit from 32bit, not sure if this causing the problem or not. Any help would be appreciated.Robert,

I restore my iPhone 4S on iTunes after the restore was completed the iPhone was restarted and now asking for valid SIM card which I didn't,t have and I was using the iPhone with wifi, and now can't use it because the screen is locked for SIM card. Can anyone help me please.

Its possible the original owner had an unlocked phone. he was using with GCI. Or that GCI doesn't actually have locked phones. Seeing as they don't even have their own infrastructure but instead use AT&T's I doubt they'd have iPhones specifically locked to them and that would be the reason they do not offer unlocking (because there's nothing for them to unlock). And just to clarify, I'm not saying for a fact its not locked to them. It very well maybe be, but without knowing more about the phone and going by the fact GCI uses AT&T infrastrucure its possible its not locked. But here's no way to say for sure either way.
Trying a Sim card from AT&T or another carrier might just help the OP if its actually unlocked or locked to AT&T rather than GCI. -

The discussions forum which I have used for years is now nearly unnavigable, the instant searching is annoying, and only three search results? To a keyword "folder"? Really? If I wanted to use Bing, I would.
But apparently Apple is trying to emulate Microsoft in making it's web site and many of it's programs almost unusable. Way to go.Unfortunately... I can say for myself that I have cut back tremendously on providing support. I used to spend quite a bit of time browsing and offering help when I can. Now, from the perspecitive of someone looking to offer help (as opposed to trying to find it), the site is very difficult to use. Tons of useful information that used to make navigating easy is no longer available. One of the things that still ticks me off to no end is that when I'm browsing postings... hit "More" at the end of the list... find something interesting to respond to... when I click back, it takes me back to the top of the topics list again... so I need to scroll down again... hit more again... and try to track down where I left off so I can continue to review postings. I much prefer pages to the whole idea of clicking on "More".
Basically... as a result... I'll just pop in once in a while. If something is close to the top of the list of new postings, I'll answer it. I expect postings that have been around longer are likely to get ignored more quickly as people won't bother with the hassle of trying to navigate.
Keeping track of posts is also a pain (and I'm not going to bookmark every response I make). So, unfortunately I don't tend to follow up with people as often as I would have in the past.
I really didn't like the changes when they first made them. But, I wanted to give it a chance and not be labeled as someone who was just averse to change. Having given it a significant amount of time, I don't find this update anymore user friendly than the first day I tried it.
I would be very suprised if the level of support provided here has not significantly decreased since the update. -

Can anyone please help? Every time I start up my imac OSX 10.6 desktop my Aperture 3 programme opens up without being requested. Is it possible to stop this happening and only allow Aperture to open by using the desktop icon? Thank you for any assistance anyone may be able to give.

William's solution was much easier - just for completeness sake: The preferences panes to edit your startup items moved between the Mac OS X updates: I forgot that the "Users&Groups" preference pane used to be called "Users" in Mac OS X 10.6; it is the panel that you use to create new User accounts; and earlier systems had a separate preferences panel "Login" to enable and to disable the applications that are launched at login. Both are now combined in "Users&Groups". Sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase with the wrong Preferences panel.
