Thank you for installing itunes but itunes didn't install
I recently re installed Windows 7 and attempted to install itunes. I receive the message,"Thank you for installing itunes but itunes failed to install. Can you help?
This happens to me on several Windows PCs. Some running Win7. Some running WinXP.
I found that by using Safari, I could successfully download iTunes. Didn't work on any other browser I tried - only Safari.
Been that way for the past three iTunes updates. Annoying but I can work around it rather easily.
Best of Luck

After installing the latest iTunes upgrade I could not access my iTunes so I uninstalled it and all of it's components like instructed in support but when I try to reinstall and click on download now, it goes right to thank you for downloading iTunes but nothing downloaded.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -

Thank you for downloading itunes but i cannot find it
I am running windows xp with Intel Pentium CPU 2.66ghz with well over 400 Mb of memory and the newest of the windows 2 update. I have erased all forms of itunes that I could find on my computer by doing a search. I hit the down load button for windows xp and the screen says thank you for downloading itunes but I do not get a run program or save program and I cannot find I tunes downloaded anywhere. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No download came but it says thank you for downloading iTunes.

There is some anecdotal evidence that the scripts on the Apple site that are supposed to detect the version of Windows you are running may fail for some users - jumping straight to the "Thank you for downloading ..." page with the installer not having been downloaded. As an alternative, you can go directly to the relevant downloads - like the previous 12.1.0.77 release, there are three different installers available, with direct links to these as follows:
iTunes 12.1.1.4 (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe
iTunes 12.1.1.4 (64-bit) - itunes6464setup.exe
iTunes 12.1.1.4 (64-bit "for older video cards") - iTunes64Setup.exe
The third of these - which is actually the 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer - should be used if you get a warning about video card incompatibility when you install the standard 64-bit version, but also may resolve issues with playback, QuickTime compatibility, and problems with some third-party applications (including Outlook).

Problems reinstalling.. Thank you for installing i tunes , not installing
Hi
I recently unistalled i tunes and quick time as my CD burner was not functioning. I have tried to reinstall I tunes & when I try to hit the download now button it brings me straight to a page saying 'Thank you for installing I Tunes' without it being installed .
Any help would be much appreciated.Hi AlD23 , and thanks for getting back to me!
I appreciate the info, I have a few steps I'd recommend:
First, remove the ink cartridges from the printer, and perform a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I'd then recommend updating the printers firmware:

My iTunes could not find either my iPhone or my iPad even though it was found by my laptop running on Windows 8.1. After some basic trouble shooting I followed all the steps to uninstall iTunes along with all its components. When I tried to once again download iTunes I was taken to the next window which said thankyou for downloading iTunes even though iTunes was neither downloaded nor installed on my laptop. How do I download and install iTunes on my laptop now?
