Hi - I recently purchased a new iMac. I have a registered cs5 design premium package which is an upgrade - I have no disc for cs4 but have the qualifying serial number for it. I have installed cs5 via download onto my iMac but it is not accepting the serial number. Can anybody help. Does anybody else think that Adobe will loose a lot of customers by not providing any chat or call support for cs5 users??

Hi, I am using Firefox 5. Suddenly I lost my bookmarks toolbar even though I have selected it to be visible in the view option. But I can still view the bookmarks toolbar in my all-in one side bar
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other. -
I would like to know what i need to do to get the program to run again. i have not been able to locate a way to reinstall the program it says i need to have to run the program
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

HELP. I deleted some files, but they are still in the Nib I think
I have royally messed up. I'm working on a cocoa app with various Quartz Compositions in it using QC View's. The .qtz files have been loaded into the Nib via the QC View's, but by accident I have deleted the original .qtz files from my disk.
I can still build the application and the views work as it seems the .qtz files must be cached into the nib file. However I can't get to them to save them back to my disk. Is there any way to get a .qtz file out of a nib after its been loaded in. Perhaps some way to reverse save the file out to disk?
Sorry its so rambling, its just that I've spent weeks getting these compositions right and now I've gone and deleted them I'm beside myself
I have tried looking inside the the nib file with 'Show package contents' but none of the .qtz files are in there. How are they cached in the nib?

MarkI tried all sorts of utilities to get the files back, but no luck. So I sat down with plenty of coffee and retraced my work as best I could remember.
After a full days work, I have recreated all the files and actually made quite a few improvements along the way!! Although I lost some time, I actually ended with a better end product, so not such a disaster after all -
I try to down load some app... But said that I have to read the new term on iTunes and agree. So by the time I get to the end of the term there was no agree thing for me to agree on. How can I fix that. Thank you for ur help.

ExportPDF converts PDF files to Word and Excel formats (and several others). What you describe, sounds like you're trying to convert a file *to* PDF. Did you ever start a trial of Acrobat, perhaps? (Whereas you can create PDFs with Acrobat, ExportPDF doesn't let you convert files to PDF.)

When participating in forum help there have been times people have helped me and I could not find a way to simply thank them and I have had other forum participants ask me questions and when I tried to answer them I got the run around on this website. It was as if I had to go back through the front door and requalify my reason for my communication and them when I tried to send the message it would not go so I click preview where I was ask to type in a number again so my tendancy is to not thank people for their help or respond to any questions that people ask me.

Does it do any good for any of the above groups? No. But again that's not why I post it. I post as warnings to others. I think I have seen enough over the years here to be fairly sure that will be the only benefit of it but you can post whatever the heck you want. Which leads to the other side annoyance which is being pestered by the likes of uj. I would expect some flak to be returned to you from time to time if you post your message which may be something to think about. Do you care? I think it is safe to say that two other posters in this thread don't... but you might.

Since you brought it up again, I guess I can see where you might have been thanking him. I guess the grammar threw me off. However, I would still like to ask why you would be keeping 8000+ messages still on the email server. If you are looking to make sure you have them for archive purposes, I would download them with an email client on a computer and delete them from the server and archive the file on the computer. It would make more sense and would prevent issues such as this. I understand POP technology and it really is not the best, and as deggie said, it is not designed for multiple devices, but I also know that many ISPs do not provide anything but POP services.
My other comment still stands though, I would turn off the phone, download the mail on a computer client, delete the mail from the server and then turn the phone back on.
