I have attached a transcript of a chat that I had a couple days ago with a Verizon Agent. The chat was to help me resolve a password issue. The e-mail account that I was asking about was a sub-account that was set up years ago for my daughter. That's why a female name showed up on the chat even though I'm Elizabeth's father.
The chat did resolve my issue. However, I felt that a number of statements from the Agent were unusual at best and inappropriate at worst. Some people probably will find nothing wrong with the Agent's behavior, but I do. I'd appreciate feedback from the community. What do you think about Emil's conduct?
I have changed names, including that of the Agent, but for any Verizon representative who is monitoring this post, the chat ID number is accurate.

How can i use the Adobe live PDF generator, i've seen a few exmples ... it requires the AIR for the examples i've seen, but does it support flex i.e., pdf over browser? if so, is there a good example code i could find ? thanks for the help.

I don't know about LiveCycle PDF Generator but the LiveCycle Data Services ES server has a PDF generation feature that works with the Flash Player, not just with AIR.

OK so I got my latest bill and BT wanted to up my direct debit charges to £56.00 per month! I'm only on Option 1 broadband and obviously a call package that is WAY too expensive. There is no way I can afford that so - somehow - through this complicated and baffling BT website, I managed to have a live chat with someone.
I paid off the excessive monies owed and I was assured my direct debit would stay at £36.50. However, thinking about it I decided to see if I could change the amount online.
Low and behold when I went into the change direct debit section, it advised at DD per month of £46.50 - a whole £10 LOWER than what BT had said on my bill.
So, I changed it to that and I also changed the date coming out from the 2nd to the 6th of every month.
Now, the amount hasn't changed on my bank account, they are still saying they are going to take out over £50.00 per month from April and I want to be assured that this is all incorrect and that perhaps it's taking longer than normal to get things changed.
Can I find the live web chat again to log onto it? No.
Do I want to phone and go all round the houses pressing '1' or '2'? No.
Do I want to email? No. Purely because I ask for an email back (proof!) and all I get are phone calls.
I just want to know if things are as I want them!! Is this too much to ask BT? Can you not simplify your website so that it is easier to get in touch via web chat instead of clicking on a link - only to be sent to another link?
I have to say, once my contact is up I'm outta here!! You are so expensive and you can never be got hold of!.

BT do offer an unlimited anytime phone package. For £4.99 extra per month, you get free calls 24/7 to 01,02,03,0870 and 0845 numbers. For any other number you can log on to SayNoTo0870, then type in the number, for example 0871 and in a majority of cases, you'll find a 01 alternative. Live chat agent WRONG!!! Price promised is NOT what I was given! Where to fix it?

Apple, can you please splurge on Developer Advocates for help in the forums

Google does it for Android... and I mean, you guys just make more money for each app that we get out there for sale, so why not pay a person or two who is sharp with C/Objective-C to just sit around and answer questions in the forum?

This isn't an Apple supported forum as far as I know. Hence the fact you have been able to ask iPhone questions even though we are all in breach of the NDA.
try asking your questions on the official apple Cocoa forum...often you'll get an answer from a developer there....and if not a developer, guys with a in depth knowledge of cocoa will often hep out.

Im trying to download itunes and it just says thank you and no downlaod comes up please help

I had to re download itunes and i am on apple website but when i choose download it just says thank you for downloading and no download occurs does anyone know why?

What worked for me was to clear the browser cache and then try downloading again. Also, give it some time to download. I noticed that when the file was finally downloading, I still got the "thank you for having downloaded" page, even though the download was nowhere near complete yet.
(It didn't help to try downloading on IE instead of Firefox. Got the same "thank you" message on IE even though nothing was downloaded. I double-checked my downloads folder and I'm sure nothing was downloaded)

Do you need adobe photoshop or elements for the ipod with video?

I am so very frustrated. It took me three days to get quicktime and itunes installed. Finally figured that out. I go to hook up my ipod and it is not working. Ipod has not shown up at all. Instead I get the Windows Hardware finder trying to find the hardware/drivers for it. I have gone thru the 5 r's twice. I have tried different USBS. So this is what I need to know.
Do I have 5th generation. I cannot find it anywhere on the box. I got it for xmas and says that it plays video and slide shows. It says version 1.0 and model MA146LL.
On the box it list requirements. My computer meets the box requirements. But according to the website, 5th generation ipods need adobe photoshop or elements? Is this so? I don't have either would that be why it is not working?

With iOS 5 you do not need a computer. The new iPod comes with iOS 5. However, you have XP so you can install iTunes and sync with the iPod. However, you computer /XPdoes not support the iCloud features.

I had a friend purchase his own Motorola Extreme Cable Modem to save that $140 a year in modem rental fees.
Had it all hooked up and had the serial number and model number but it took three representatives to just go in and change the old to the new.
So its not just Verizon that uses untrained personnel.
