For some reason, it won't let me "reply" in the other thread. Just wanted to say thanks. The first time, repair wasn't available. Clicked on "info", then closed that out, then clicked "repair" and it failed. "The disk "Macintosh HD" could not be unmounted. Clicked "repair" again (because I didn't like the first answer) and now it is repairing. Not sure what any of this means, but it is getting incorrect "block count" for file .store.db and main_file_cache.dat2
Make sure all content is transferred and device is backed up if you are connecting to a new computer.

Sounds like it windows/PC. I have ran across that for the CDs that veterinarians provide for digital x-rays.
I would try on a PC or on yuur Mac with Windows via BootCamp or a virtual machine like VirtualBox -
When I log on to Firefox, I get this block that pops up saying, "Do you use the Yahoo! Toolbar on multiple computers? It has 2 buttons asking "Save to my Yahoo! ID or No thanks, just save to this computer" It drops down from the Yahoo toolbar, next to the Y! on the left side of the tool bar. I have tried the Save button and no response, I tried the No thanks button no response. I tried the underlined "Learn more" and it too no response. I tried the close X but that does not get rid of this box. I tried right clicking and no response. It stays there through out while working on the mail, I cannot access the that toolbar so I cannot use the buttons on this tool bar. Please help or I will have to try another browser to see if it go away.

I'm running Final Cut Express 2. My video project is 95% done and I've run out of space on my 500g internal hard drive. How can I (1) move the complete FCE program and video to my unused 250g internal hard drive and operate it from there and (2) how do I then purge all the FCE info from the 500g drive without losing anything from the 250 drive?
Also, is it possible to change the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9 when the project is finished? If so, how? I now know this all should have been done before I started. Thanks for the help.1. You can't move the application. It must remain on the system drive. Move your capture scratch folder to the external FireWire drive and use the reconnect function in the project.

We just purchased our first Ipad. It is a mini with retina display 16 GB. How do I go back a page? I see no arrows to page back. Also when I log into a yahoo email account and open an email I see now way to log out? Thank you for any help
In Safari, (the web browser), there are specific arrows to go back and forward through website pages.
In other Apps, it will depend on how the App is built.
As to Yahoo Mai it depends on where you are viewing the email. If you are using the Mail App, then you don't log out. The Mail accounts in the Mail App are always there.
If you are using the Yahoo App, You can Tap on the folder at the top, then on your account/name, and then on Sign Out. -
How can i control my new mac mini using my new macbook air? Thanks
Hi, I would like to control and even file share my macmini using my macbook air... the mac mini is plugged into the family 50inch plasma... so getting access to it is not always easy! I'd like to play itunes, films, file share, just about do everything from the macbook air as if I was on and in front of the macmini... i'm hoping to do this from any country using wifi!
I've looked at screens - vnc client, but can;t find anywhere where it says I should download the app... is there a master to download to the mac mini, then waht do i download to the macbook air to enjoy control... also am i expected to download twice and pay twice?
I'm very new to the mac world... loving it, but lots to learn! Appreciate your help, thank you

To set up screen sharing: (on the mini)
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Sharing.

This promt seems to relate to iCal - it is requesting access to my "calendar" but the icon shows the iCal icon infront of some icon of a house with a dial - maybe it is supposed to look like a safe dial protecting my house.
There is a ? that launches the Help Centre. There is says the prompt is because something is tying to access the calendar and I need to give permission but I'm not running anything that would have needed access.
Is it possible that one of the websites I was on prompted it? I didn't download anything - but I'm working in SmartSheet, which uses a calendar tool to track projects. Any chance that's trying to communicate with iCal in the background?
But I can't see anywhere online where people know what the CoreServicesUIAgent is, and there's no more info about what/who I'd be giving access to my calendar.

kThanks, I'd done that before coming to Apple and didn't receive any additional information about whether it's safe to choose "Don't Allow" or "OK". I don't know what I'm in for if I choose either one. Can't afford to lose that calendar. I depend on it too much.

Hello, My iCal don't synchronize older events than two or three month ago. How can I do to synchronize all my schedule? In iTunes it's all right in Calendars. I don't put a cross in "synchronize event older than ....... days". Thanks for answer.

I have a new iPad3 and have found I cannot open the month of March 2013 when I tap on it. All other months open OK ! I can see March 2013 in the yearly view and I can open the individual days, and weeks, of March 2013 but I cannot see the whole month in the monthly view. When I try to open the monthly view for March 2013 it returns me to the start screen which shows all the apps etc and closes the Calendar app. Any guidance of what is going wrong and how it can be corrected. Thanks !

My ipod touch will not play music in my Bowers and Wilkins mini zeppelin nor my Logitech. Yet, it plays in my car. The music can be heard playing in the ipod itself. It is only 2 years old. Should I repair or just buy another? Thanks!
Did it start not working after updating the iPOs on the iPod? SOmetimes updating an iOS breaks compatibility.
You can try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -
