That Error Code 150:30 AGAIN!!!

I use PSE8 almost every day.
Back in February, I got the code which required that I reboot my machine.
All worked well since then.
Reply from Ankush back then asked that I notify.
Was working in browser Firefox; closed it; double-clicked on my PSE8 desktop icon; error message came up during several attempts;
finally rebooted and all [again] seems well.

It would be helpful, if you can tell what all operations you were performing. Were you trying to use the online services?

You haven't said what version of PSE you are using but the general solution to this problem is to re-install the product from your original disks.  Have you got the disks for your product and the related serial number?

Hi, I got my Mac in 2009 with photoshop elements on it - it's recently been wiped, however before the process we put Photoshop onto a hard drive, we then copied it back over and it no longer works, I'm getting error code 150:30 and I'm being asked for a password... any ideas how to get it working again?

You can never, never migrate an installed copy of PSE. It's just too complex and you can't get to all the bits and bobs.
First you will have to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
which will not seem to do anything, but is necessary to break the links within PSE so that you can pitch the bits manually. Then you will have to go around, not only to applications, but also to your username>library>preferences and most importantly to the library at the top level of your hard drive>application support>adobe, and remove everything you can find. Spotlight will not help with this kind of search, so don't try that.
Then you can install PSE from scratch.

  • Error code 150:30 in dreamweaver cs4

error code 150:30 in dreamweaver cs4
after  a crash on my mac

Licensing Repair Tool didn't work for me, because it is a PowerPC app that won't launch.
Here's what did work like a dream, from the genius Steffelchenk:
    Hey Marty,
had the same problem here with PSE 8 after system recovery from time machine backup. I also updated to Lion couple of month ago. I also tried all of the listed solutions on the adobe support pages but none of them worked. The folder FLEXNet_Publisher in the systems hard drives folder Preferences, which it says to be deleted does not exist and was only found in the application support folder. I also tried all of the other solutions listed on this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac- os.html  and had more or less the same problems, it did not work.
I found the following solution myself by doing this:
go to the folder [hard drive]/Library/Application Support/FlexNet Publisher and make a copy of this folder
then go to the folder [hard drive]/Library/Preferences and paste this copied folder there.
Then try again to start your application and now it should show you the licenceregistry window. Type in your serial number and confirm. Then the application starts and runs properly. So it was on my system.

  • What can I do for Error code 150:30?

On my Windows 7 computer I have been using Elements 8 for months with no problem. Now suddenly I'm getting error code 150:30 every time I try to open it. I followed the suggestion to download and use the license recovery tool, tried that three times to no avail.
I'm afraid to uninstall the product (so I can reinstall it) because I can't open it to deactivate it. What should I do to safely get this product working again? Thank you.

Thank you Barbara, for your feedback. I actually got a person in the Adobe chat room to walk me to this link http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-licensing-stopped-windows.html . Solution 1 did not work, but Solution 2 worked like a charm. I appreciated the fix!

  • Error Code 150:30 and then 213:5

I purchase my Adobe Illustrator CS5 in 2011.  It worked good until recently then I got an error code 150:30.  Tried to fix it but then got an error code 213:5.  Called Adobe customer support and they could ot help; then they directed me here for help? All I am trying to do, is to get my CS5 Illustrator operational again...didn't realize that I was gone to get a run-around.  Does anyone know how to fix or get around these dumb error codes?

Probably your best bet is to uninstall and the reinstall the application (being sure to delete the Preferences when uninstalling). It might also help to run the Cleaner tool in between.

  • Error code 150:30 Question

Receiving error code 150:30 after installing Yosemite then going back to OSX 10.9.5. Completed Repair Disk Permissions yesterday with no success and continue to receive Abode Error 150:30 when launching any application within Creative Suite. Also attempted to delete FlexNet Publisher as noted in Solutions 1 & 2. Went to hidden Library folder and did not find FlexNet Publisher listed. Greatly appreciate your insight.

never migrate adobe programs.  you should properly install them using the adobe installation files.

  • Error code 150:30 on Lion OSX 10.9.2

    Hello
After I upgrade my mac to Lion OSX 10.9.2, I am keep getting an error code 150:30.
I have tried downloading License Recovery, but it didn't work.
What should I do to solve this problem?

    I'm having the same issue.
I purchased CS4 in January of 2009 and have used it on the same MacBook Pro until yesterday when the machine crashed. When I migrated my  files from my external backup to my new machine I received the same 150:30 error message noted above.
I have spent two days on the phone arguing with Adobe's "customer service" center. No one understands the issue. I was directed to the same page listed above and I too found that none of the suggested solutions work.
When I escalated the issue cust. serv. told me that CS4 is not compatible with OSX versions above 10.5. This is incorrect as I was using 10.7, 10.8, and 10.9 for the last few years with no issues.
I have not yet tried to reinstall, but most likely will soon. This is a painfully simple issue. I just need to reactivate the license on my new machine. Surely someone knows how to accomplish this.
