You could contact the iBook Store support in your country, however I doubt you paid in advance so there is no loss. The missing book may have been removed from sale by its author.

That's by design. The password is designed to protect the user's information and cannot be circumvented. You can restore it to "new" condition though, and sync it to your computer. The iPod Touch's content will be securely erased by doing this.

I am trying to back up my new Iphone on to ICloud. It shows I dont have enough storage because it still has stuff from the old IPhone. How can I back up this phone and erase from the other. Apple kept the other phone when they replaced it. If I hit the delete storage for the other phone (which shows up on the Icloud Icon on this phone) will I lose everything on this phone? That's what I want to avoid....
If it's corrupt, generally it would be lost.
However, there is third-party software out there that can retrieve some of the data, those of which however I could not recommend as I have never done so myself.
Also, if the old 4S was running a more recent software version than the current 4S, that may cause the issue however usually iTunes tells you exactly that.

Can anyone offer suggestions? I realize there are two separate issues here.
1. I thought I successfully connected my iPad with the iTunes library on my Mac/ Hard Drive via the Remote app. However, more than half the songs in my music library will not play on the Ipad; when I click on any one of them using the iPad's Remote app & iTunes, I get a message box that says: "An unknown error occurred. Please check your library and try again." These songs all play fine through my Mac's Itunes program.
2. I had thought I could use the Remote app to get my library "into" my receiver, connecting the iPad to the receiver with an RCA-to-headphone adapter. This adapter works great to play music that "lives" on an iPod or iPad. But it does not seem to be able to access music that the ipad is controlling only remotely. If this is true I will be pretty unhappy...Thank you. My two questions have now shifted.
1. You are right-- I have been unsure as to whether Homesharing or Remote was my answer, and I did set up Homesharing on both my Mac and iPad. It still appears that my music comes out of the Mac, only. How can i use Homesharing to allow the iPad to play music?
2. And I went back to check again, and saw that somehow, the songs that my iPad cannot locate are also somehow missing now on the Mac, even though they used to be accessible. My entire music library is stored on an external hard drive, which I used to connect to my Mac with USB. I just got a new router and now have the music hard drive connected via USB to IT instead of the Mac. I would bet that this is why so much of my library is no longer accessible-- I must have used different settings to save some of my songs, and the hard drive's new location shows that. Can anyone help me make my entire music library playable ? Thanks again -
How do you delete songs that you purchased through iTunes but don't show up when you connect the iphone to iTunes? They don't show up in the music section when you click on "On this phone". Side Note: I have my phone setup to manually manage music. Please help.

If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

When I plug my iPhone 4s into my PC, I get a message that says iTunes needs a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support. It wants me to uninstall both the AMDS and iTunes and then reinstall iTunes. iTunes won't recognize my phone and so I can't synch it. Has anyone else run into this problem recently and how did you resolve it? Thanks!

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems. Recently bought a new computer and all my music appears in iTunes as well as on my computer in a saved folder. When I try to play the music in iTunes I get an error that reads"the song could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" Hope you can help me solve this issue.

ShellybooThis happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

I tried to update to newest version via pc. I got error because i didn't have this recovery program disc that was supposed to come with the purchase so it says, but it didn't and now my ipod touch 8gb won't connect with itunes anymore and is stuck on a screen displaying an itunes icon with a usb icon.
oke i'm not done with the whole thing, but i'm doing that right now. Most of the advice I've already read didn't work and at a certain point it said something about shutting down programs then restart. but i notice that there are some pretty important system things in that list and i don't want to mess up my pc :s i'm not a pc genius... and because i'm dutch and my pc-language is in dutch I often have trouble translating and well... i don't always understand the technical stuff in all the articles -_-

I can only purchase in the US app store however I live in the UAE, the problem is I bought an iTunes gift card quite while ago and to use that I had to have an Apple ID in the US app store, so I changed my region to the United States but now I have $0.76 in my account and it doesn't let me to change my region before using that amount of credit and there is no any app which costs $0.76 and I want to change back my region to the United Arab Emirates.

I have a Macbook Pro that I have just renewed and transferred over my old hard drive (also from a Macbook Pro). Now when I turn on the computer and ITunes opens I get error (-50) and then error 5002 when I try to sign in to ITunes Store - Help!
My dealer has tried and failed (twice) to correct this and I have tried deleting the two items in the Itunes folder but no luck!were you able to get help on this? I need help on error 5002 as well. thank you

I purchased an iTunes card in the United States yesterday. I arrived home in the Bahamas today and tried to redeem the card but got an error message stating that I can only redeem the card in a United States store. How to redeem a card outside the US?
Sorry - iTunes cards can only be redeemed in the country in which they were purchased.

Sorry, but as KP guessed, Apple will not exchange the card, and you are correct that you can't use a US iTunes card in Canada. You will need to give or sell it to someone in the US.

I thought I was supposed to clear out my iPad before I updated it. Now it's empty and stuck in the plug into iTunes icon. Done--now what??
Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
I am trying to update my ipad. When I start the process, I get the message " there are items bought in itunes that were not transfered. I synchronized my ipad, but still get the same message. What can I do?
I assume that this means items that haven't been transferred from the iPad into iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your PC and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side under "Devices" and select Transfer Purchases from the pop up window. Then sync one more time. Then after that, right click on the iPad name again and select - Backup. After that process completes then you should be OK. -
How to get support for an iphone 4 that I bought in the United States here in Mexico?

I just bought on September 2011 an unblocked iPhone 4 in the apple store in Miami. I also got an apple care protection plan for this iPhone. The problem right now is that the iphone is not working properly. I have reseted using itunes but the phone is not working. The phone no matter what application I am using it blocks itself for about 45 minutes. The screen goes blank and it starts a a series of unsuccesful reset. There is no way to work with this phone. I call apple support and they said that there is nothing I can do to get support from apple down here in Mexico. The only thing to do is to go to the United States an d get support over there.
