The Addressbook order can't be controlled??

Since around two months time my addressbook has started to show names in the wrong order. I want it to show names with first names first and then Family names at the end. But more and more names get it the other way. Looking into the names with the wrong order it is the order of the fields that are wrong, not that the First name has jumped to Familyname.
Can't find anything wrong in the sync to mobile me or the Kerio Sync (the latter is according to the supportfunction absolutely innocent since it can't affect this).. Anyone any ideas?

If it only had been so simple. When changing Sort order or just to show first names first or last, nothing happens. That is the basic problem.

In LV 6.1 an up you should be ablel to right click on the edge of the tab control when the tab-page in question is selected.
The bttom selcetion in the pop-up is "Reoder controls in page..."
selecting this option will switch editing modes to allow you to specify the ored, just like in a cluster.
I seem to remeber in older versions you had to drag the tabable controls off the tab control, specify the tabbing oder and then drag them back on. The oldest version I have on this machine is 6.1 so that all I can speak for at the moment.

How the material PRT issue/receipt to the production order can be handled?

Hi PP Gurus,
        For one of our clients, the handling of PRT is to be controlled with the issue/receipt for the production order.
1. What is the procedure for issue/receipt of PRT material in the SAP?
2. What is the procedure to block the PRT for the creation/release of production order when it was already assigned to the other production order during the same time?
3. The PRT is to be available automatically once the assigned production order operation is confiremd.How it can be handled in the SAP?

     1. The dies can be used for the production of Pressing, Casting and Forging etc. These dies will be managed in the stores. The stores representatives will issue the die to the shop floor for an operation of a production order.They will return back the die once the production is completed at that operation using the die. How to map this process in the SAP.
        Typically, these dies can be treated as PRT materials in the SAP system.
     2. OPJK configuration is not sufficient. The same PRT will be assigned to the many production orders during the same time.The system won't block with only this setting. There are some other steps involved to complete the process.
                 I would like to know the complete procedure with all the steps to block the PRT once it was assigned to the production order operation. The same PRT is to be available for other production orders automatically once the operation is confirmed after production.

Function to send fax the attachment of the pur. order when i output control

when i output control purchase order -
user want to send also the attachment documents when i click on output push button.
is anyone know how can i do that?
wich function can send the attachmant to fax?(it could be image, document,excel...etc).

Which FAX server software do you use?
PO output with attachment is standard function in SRM.
SRM -> PO with attachment via SMTP -> FAX server (attachment conversion) -> FAX protocol -> Vendor

Do the purchase order can be created with several purchasing groups?

I need your help again a.s.a.p. please!
We are implementing SAP R/3 ECC 600 and we have SRM too.
In the SRM is possible to create a purchase order with several purchasing groups, but, in MM we cannot because of the purchasing groups is the the header level.
Somebody expert from SAP told to the client that its possible to create a Purchase order in MM with several purchasing groups..
Is it possible? or, where I can find information from SAP that said that its not possible?

How do I size the iTunes windows when the window goes below the bottom of the screen? Can't reach controls or items at bottom of list.

How to cancel the returns order

Hi,
i have done a sales process by creating sales order, delivery, invoice and then i have taken the goods return by returns order, returns delivery and the credit memo.
Now i want to delete/ cancel all the documents till from credit memo to sales order. im getting error during deleting the returns order.
can u tell me the process abt how to can all the docs

What error you get when you try to delete the returns?
If the credit memo is posted, then rever the posting. T
hen cancel the credit memo in VF11.
Reverse the PGI in VL09 for the returns delivery. Unpack & reverse the picking quantity. Delete the delivery.
Then cancel the returns order.
Pls note that you cannot delete the sales order. You can only cancel or enter reason for rejection in the line items.
Same way cancel all the documents from F2 to OR.

i have one problem i am changing the sales order through Bapi and i am updating the pricing condition with the vendor number.
after that i am creating a delivery with recoding . when i am doing delivery it is through error like user is locked the sales order
can any one help on this?

Try to use "commit work and wait." after you update sales order, then run the recording for delivery.

Fan speed - can it be controlled?

I've just picked up the 1.6 MBA from a local dealer that allows up to 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked.
The MBA is so far amazing in every respect -- faster and more usable than many have suggested, and using USB 2.0 to transfer data from a backup drive, the problem of loading files onto it hasn't been that much of an issue. The screen and keyboard, and the overall build of this machine, are so perfect that it's a been a pure joy to own and to work with.
Except for one small but crucial flaw: the whirl of the fan. It spins at 2500 rm and generates a faint but very noticeable squeal that I'm not sure I can live with. It may just be a deal-breaker for what is otherwise an amazing machine.
I know that it runs at 2500rmps for technical reasons and that tampering with this could void the warranty. The question is: can it be controlled -- i.e., tweaked ever so slightly to see if the high pitch squeal goes away.
It would then be absolutely perfect!

Yes, thank you -- I want to lower the speed, and as it turns out just today, I discovered Lobotomo Software's 'fan control' (available here: http://www.lobotomo.com/products/FanControl/index.html).
This has allowed me to lower the speed -- at least so that I can confirm that the source of the whine is indeed the fan, and I'm happy to say that it is. I have adjusted the 'base speed' of the fan to 1500 (from the 2500 that is normally set at), and I've been monitoring the temperature of the MBA to be on the safe side. I'm not noticing any rise in temperature, at least not in normal use (email, safari, Word).
I don't need to turn the speed down unless I'm in a quiet room, but it really helps to be able to do so -- in fact, it addresses the only issue I had with the computer, and now I'm happy with it.
And man, is it quiet!

My itunes page has been replaced by a small window in the upper left hand corner of the desktop. i can control my music, but cannot access radio, itunes store etc. ie can only play my music in a random order that i cannot control. i am unable to return

i was listening to the radio on i tunes and suddenly the itunes page dissapeared and a small window appeared in the upper left hand side of the desktop. i can control only my music via this window which has a search fwd and back arrow and a play and pause button. there is also a volumn set to full. i can control my music by the volumn control at the top rt of all pages. i want to access the itunes store and the radio, but cannot (can access the itunes store by googleing it.

Can I get iTunes to file ripped tracks in the exact order they were on the CD?

300 years ago, Bach wrote the Well Tempered Clavier "songs" to be played in a certain order. The geniuses at Apple offer lots of options for arranging the ripped tracks in every order except "List tracks in the order they were on the CD". Anyone have any ideas why Apple INSISTS upon destroying this carefully created order? iTunes CD imports are ripped in sequential order, why can't iTunes simply put them in the library in the order they are ripped? To omit this simple and obvious ordering is INCREDIBLY STUPID!! If the option to put CD tracks into the iTunes Library in the order they are ripped exists, but has been hidden by some genius, does anyone know how to find it? Why are programmers so obsessed with giving us "features" that they completely overlook the simple option of "Do not reorder the tracks at all", just store them in the library?
If iTunes is so stupidly designed that it is impossible to leave the order of tracks in the order they were on the CD ripped, is there any way I can reorder the tracks manually so that I can restore the tracks to the order Bach intended? The 3 ripped CDs are (no option) stored in individual folders. Is there a way to put all tracks in a single folder? Does Apple have any "suggestion box", or "bug reporting" input access? I wonder if they are following the modern trend (like Google), who allow no user feedback since they KNOW that THEIR geniuses produce only products that are already PERFECT when released. They don't. By default iTunes will import tracks and allow them to be viewed as albums in the "correct" order, assuming that the metadata elements used to control grouping into albums are correctly set.

Because "the order in which they are ripped" is not a well-defined concept. iTunes groups tracks into albums and orders discs/tracks within albums based on well-defined metadata elements. The issue that you may seeing is that much of the information that iTunes pulls from Gracenote to supply metadata for imported CDs is inconsistent or just plain wrong. Once the metadata is correctly specified, tracks will always be ordered correctly in the iTunes library (assuming sorting by album, disc # and track #).

Can we hide 'profit margin' in the sales order

I looked in the config, but I did not find any control that will hide the profit margin on the sales order.
Does anybody know if the only way to do this is to actually take off the 'profit margin' from the pricing procedure?

if u want to hide profit margin in sales order ,is it captured thru some condition type? if yes then use alternative condition base formula in pricing procedure with either 27 or 56 .if business logic doesnot suit with this std routine then u can write ur own routine in VOFM transaction with abapper's help.
it is cent % possible to do,and this is the only way also.
if you also do not want to show this PM in invoice output then untick printing option in pricing procedure for this condition type.

In Production order can i control GR with out GI

    in the production order the GR should not be done until atleast one component is cosumed as GI . can this be controlled using configuration.
   case II
     the GR should not happen untill all GI is done can this be controlled using standard configuration.

Hi Madan,
You can use use enhancement <b>MBCF0002</b> to control the goods movement.
Use this & in the include program you need to write a program, which will check if GMPS - goods movement posted status is activated in the order. Then only it will allow for GR.
Discuss with your ABAP team.
