Is it possible to create an msi package if the product you are upgrading is Multilingual (MUI) and the update(msp) you are applying is not Multilingual (MUI) but "All languages"?

Please download the latest Adobe Reader patch from the below mentioned location, it will work with MUI installer.

Try deleting the old backup.
Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the device name and on the resulting screen, scroll down and tap on Delete Backup.

CS3 Updates cause programs to not work with Windows 7?

Has anyone else had their programs stop working after an Adobe update was installed? Although I have been told by 5 different Adobe staff members that CS3 is "not at all compatible" with Windows 7...it somehow worked on two machines for 6 months. Then a recent Adobe update caused it to not work. I could understand if it never worked with Windows 7, but it stopped working after Adobe's update. I am sure that Adobe has the resources to test their updates on Windows 7 machines and would have found this problem. What would make them proceed with giving their customers this update...hmmm maybe the release of CS5???
I also asked if they could send me a CD (since I chose a download) of the original CS3 suite without the updates and they told me that they don't have any. Really??? Adobe doesn't have any copies of a program that is only 3 years old?

Update all apps does not work

Since the previous version of iTunes and including the new one I just installed (11.3) doe not work as expected, or as it used to. When I check for my installed Apps, and there are more than one app to update, I click the option in the bottom right that says 'Update all apps', but when you do that, it only updates the first one, and you then have to click it again for each individual app. What is the purpose of an 'Update ALL apps' if it doesn't do that?
Also, why has the option to sign in and stay signed in gone? I used to be able to do that, so when I opened iTunes I was automatically logged in and could continue, but now I have to login each time I open iTunes. This is annoying.

Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Also try restarting the router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123.

After Windows 10 Pro N succesfull update all Network Adapters not working and not showing up

Hi all, After succesfully installing the new Windows 10 Pro N onto my Windows 8.1 Pro N operating system and restarting the system, I realized that all drivers are migrated succesfully, withouht any incompatibility issue, but none of the network adapters were working, so no WiFi, no LAN connection was ready to be used, checking the list of available network adapters showed an empty list. I am using a ThinkPad T520 laptop. I have tried to update all drivers from a USB, had several restarts, but no result. Any ideas I could use to get Windows 10 up-n-running with network connections? IPad has update software but will not work with iMac with updated software

I have the iPad running the 5.1.1 and when the iPad is plugged into the wife's new iMac running iTunes 10.6 I get a message
The iPad “Ase’s iPad” cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.5 or later. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes.
I check the iTunes and it's at 10.6, and iTunes will not even recognize the iPad under devices.
Again while plugging in the wife's iPhone you get the following:

Shouldn't be this hard.

Locate the iTunes app in Applications folder, highlight it and type Command I (I as in Ivan) and look to see what version is installed. If it's still 10.4 then navigate to

Then download and install following the on-screen directions. Once it installed it wouldn't hurt to restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches, it's possible one or more is corrupt.

Library Update Fails, Itunes will not work with new 9.0 update

I just recently updated the Itunes software.
Since doing it, when I plug my Ipod 180 gig into my computer, or just try to open Itunes, the Library starts to update
I can do nothing else and then when it finishes, it fails.
Itunes closes and I am back to square one.
WHY?!?!?!
It was fine before I updated. Everything was running smooth.
This new update is messed up!!
What do I need to do to fix this issue??

OK - to answer my own question, Apple recommend 8.2.1, but you can install 9.1.1 and it will run on a G3. Very slowly. Looks like this is the only option. Get it here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1036. You need OSX 10.4.11 or later though....

Iphoto update 9.1.2. not working with Appstore

In the Appstore on the purchased Tab, there is an info that there is an update for iphoto available.
If i click the update button, I got the message "Es sind keine Updates für andere Accounts verfügbar" (translated into english: "updates for other account available"). But I do not have another account.
So what's going wrong here?

Dear Old Bob..I enjoyed that! I and thanks so much ...I would have done it if I could have done it but I was blocked by Photoshop at every stage! Thankfully my own IT Guru and friend came to the rescue remotely last night and has down-loaded it. But it took him quite a bit of time.
As XP is faded out, there will be an awful lot of people like me complaining.
But truth is my problems are only at a start! About 30 prints (some not yet on my 'blog' (juliamatcham.wordpress.com) all have varying settings which I have noted. Everything depends on these settings.
All are Apple RGB (although my computer is a PC) and they were all set for my printer Epson Photo 1800. Also they were set at varying settings...Standard or Vivid 1.5, 2.5 whatever suited the design.
These settings appear not to exist on CS2 which is a nightmare for me as each print was carefully proofed with a great deal patience and at some expense as in the end one has to use expensive paper even for proofing.
If you have any hints for how to translate these old settings...I would kiss your feet!
Just looking through how things work, I can't understand why I can't change my first printing option to landscape ...everything esle so far seems comprehensible.
I do hate change!
Meanwhile, thanks so much to Curt, Noel, Nahraka and Old Bob for cheering me on. I am obviously going to be back asking more questions about CS2!

You get the message because that is exactly the situation. Apple has not allowed any Flash on iOS devices.
What site are you trying to see? Many sites now provide Flash alternatives. For example, if you want to listen to Pandora, instead of using the Flash on the Pandora website, instead you download the Pandora app for the iPad.
In the future, even if Apple wants to add Flash to the iPad, it won't be able to because Adobe will no longer be making it at all, for any mobile device:

I've installed a button in my Firefox tool bar to toggle iFrames on and off through a Firefox add-on called "Toolbar Buttons".
The forum Reply Editor does not work when iFrames are blocked, so I need to toggle them back on when posting, then back off. I imagine that's better than having them on all the time.

Firefox will not work with Rabbit TV on the Golf Channel

2 months ago I purchased Rabbit TV and eliminated TV service through a cable provider.
I then went to the Golf Channel to watch live streaming golf.
I would not work with Firefox.
It left me with no option but to go back to MS Explorer, which works just fine.
I do not like Explorer but have not choice.
Have you corrected the issue?

Do the other channels work, just not golf?

Adobe Reader 9.5 update "All Languages"

Hi,
I know it has been a topic, but we need here to have the Adobe Reader 9.5 update (not the full installation) for "All languages" version, not the MUI version. I know this one exists, but not the "All languages" one.
Does it exists? I know that in another topic, the Adobe's employee was saying that we must install the full version to have 9.5. But with a company with almost 25 000 computers, it concerns me a bit.
And I needed to be in french.
Can anyone help me on this please?

Hi,
Adobe Reader 9.5 can be installed over any existing Reader version previous to it. Hence, it should be treated as a regular update with some extra capabilities and enhancements.
To install French update, go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ and select appropriate configuration.
Or else, you can go to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/ and download the installer of your choice and deploy it on all machines of your company the way you wish to.
Hope this suffices.

AcroPDF ActiveX print functions are not working with Reader 9.2/9.3. Tried ActiveX print functions like printPages(), printAll(), printWithDialog(), none of them is working. Tried on platforms: XP 32 bit and Win7 32 bit. These print functions all work fine with Adobe Reader 9.1.0. or 8.2.0 or 8.1.0 on XP 32 bit or Win7 32 bit.
The way I have my setup: I have created a C/C++ project with AcroPDF MFC ActiveX classes. I have created an AcroPDF object in there, and then calling it's LoadFile() function passing a pdf file in the parameter. Then calling the printPages() or printAll() function. With Adobe Reader 9.1.0. or 8.2.0 or 8.1.0, printing is starting through the default printer without any problem. As soon as I update the reader version to 9.2 or more, the same code stops working.
Is anybody noticing any similar issue? Any info on this will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Unfortunately printWithDialog() is also not working. Actually none of the print functions like Print(), printWithDialog(), printPages(), printPagesFit(), printAll(), printAllFit() are working. All of them works fine though with older reader.
BTW, what security related changes are there for printPages() and printAll()? Can you please elaborate on that? Is there any workaround?
