The Advanced Call Manager by WebGate

I recently purchased the Advanced Call Manager by WebGate for the BlackBerry Pearl 8130, because of the Send busy tone, option & the Reply by SMS, option. I cannot get the Send busy tone, option to work @ all, it just sends callers directly to voicemail. And the Reply by SMS, option works, but not without sending callers to voicemail still, which totally defeats the purpose of why I got the program. Can anyone tell me how, I can get the Send busy tone, option to work @ all & without sending callers to voicemail. And how, I can get the Reply by SMS, option to work without sending callers to voicemail.  Thanks.

do you have any lock/protection software in polace? say advance device lock?
if yes, remove ACM out of it. This should work

i think the advance call manager with the E71 is a trial only, and ultimately it will require a license, you can try to download from Nokia Software Market

  • E63: Deleted Advanced Call Manager. Please Help!

I got my E63 and in a bid to check the optimal performance, I decided to remove all installed applications ("why would you do that?" don't ask me -- one of those crazy moments). After I removed the apps, I didn't see any marked increase in response time. So I decided to have them back on. And, lo! and behold! The applications I removed were gone from the app manager! I don't care about other apps, but I wanted to have Advanced Call Manager back. Is there a way to restore the app back to the App Manager? Thanks, Suresh

The following link is the E71 support/downlod site, but I know that the OS of E63 is identical to the E71's. So the advanced call manager should work perfectly.

  • Advanced Call Manager and my E71x not getting alon...

I just bought a E71x and decided to give the advanced call manager a try. Found my phone on the Nokia website, noticed that it was listed FOR MY PHONE and figured, "Eh why not. Sounds cool enough." Installed it onto my phone through PC Suite no problem. Then went to run it on my phone and........ locked up after informing me it was a 30 call trial and asked me if I wanted to try or buy. I click try... nothing. I click buy.... nothing. Anyone got any suggestions?? Have since uninstalled the program.

you can contact nokia care line or use the 'contact us' button on the top right of this page. now i don't know if this is a nokia app. if it is not then i suggest you contact the developer directly and tell them what issues you are having. i know that you got it from the nokia site but it could have been some other company and nokia just posted a collection of apps for your phone. here are the links that you can use to contact nokia :

  • Advanced call Manager on E71-2 NAM

I have installed Advance Call Manager on my E71-2 NAM a couple of months ago and need some help. I also downloaded the manual. My problem is: I would like to have 2 profiles. #1 called "Day" where I can have the number of seconds before sending to answering machine mail set at 25. and #2 called "Night" where I can have the number of seconds before sending to answering machine mail set at 5.
When I set #1 to 25 seconds it is also changed in #2, when I set #2 to 5 seconds it also changes in #1.
I have been playing around with this for some time and finally decided to ask for help.
ps. The manual didn't help me, hopefully someone here can.
    Thank you

    Dear
Welcome to the forum and thanks for your recent post.
You can backup your data and content but not for the program itself. Re-install the application and then restore the data/content.
It should be noted that some applications require a lincence and have trial period that must have been expired.
    Please contact your local careline.
You'll need your IMEI number product code and they will set your license with you.
Both items can be obtain by typing (*#06#) from your device home screen.
Do let us know if you require  further assistance.
    Sincerely
    Carl

  • E71 Advanced Call Manager...Mute but sound being t...

    Hello friends,
I am using E71, and I am using this application Advanced call manager's latest version. I have noticed when it transfers the incoming call to voicemail through answering machine it does mute my mic, but it keeps sending/transmitting voices/sounds of my side to the call as if mic in reality is not on mute....but on screen I can see it says mic is mute as greeting is being played and caller is recording this message in answering machine. Please share the remedy how to make my mic actually mute when answering machine is playing the greeting and caller is recording the message ?
    Regards

Has the program always been this way or did its behavior change recently? I use Blackballer Pro on my E73 (3rd Ed. FP2) for call blocking, and noticed a similar phenomenon. BB Pro can play back an arbitrary audio clip before dropping the call, and it also mixes-in room noises (from the mic) during playback. When I mentioned this to the programmer, he said that it's a function of Nokia's driver, and there is probably not a workaround. The issue varies from phone to phone. The inaccurate mute display could be a small bug. Assuming nobody has a better answer, you may want to contact the company behind Advanced Call Manager to get their opinion, too. I hope that helps.

  • I have the advanced calling on my glaxay note 4 but am not sure on how to use and who i can call please help!?

I have the advanced calling on my galaxy note 4 but am not sure on how to use it or who I can call I watched video's that show me but it doesn't work please help!

This is also known as VoLTE or Voice over LTE.  Like Vonage, but for cell phones.  Advanced calling is turned on or off in your phones settings, usually near Call/Phone option.  It allows an HD quality call between you and another Verizon customer who is using an AC-enabled phone.  It also allows you to talk and surf simultaneously and conduct video calls.  This AC requires Mobile Data to be on when out and about but can still be used on WiFi.The min do not count toward your data, however the video counts toward your data.
Some customers report poor call quality or dropped and missed calls when using this newer feature.  Disabling AC usually helps quell those issues.

  • Advanced Call Manager on E71

I have the ACM installed on my E71. When I switch to "reject blacklist" mode, I have no problem. It works as expected. When I switch to "reject personal callers" mode, I have a problem. I have only 1 "active list", so when I switch mode from "reject blacklist" to "reject personal callers" mode, I expect the only "active list" that I have to be automatically the list to represent my "personal callers". However, I discovered that in "reject personal callers" mode, my phone rejected ALL callers, even those not in the "active list". Did I miss out anything, or do any steps wrong, or s there some software problem ? Do any of you with ACM on E71 have the same problem ? Any sharing will be appreciated, thank you.

  • I got the Advanced Calling update (12b) and have started seeing frequent crashes/reboots.    coincidence?

My LG G3 is only 3 days old, so this might not have anything to do with the update...

  • Upgrade Call Manager from 8.6.2 to 10.5

    Hello All,
We are planning to upgrade a Cisco Call Manager Publisher node from 8.6.2 to 10.5. We want to install a new publisher on a new environment, but we are struggling with some questions.
If we install the Pub node 10.5 can we migrate the configuration from the 8.6.2 to 10.5? Do we need a special tool for this?
If above doesn't work, we can still migrate the existing call manager towards the new servers and start the upgrade, the only problem we face there is that we have to change the publisher's IP because we want to use a new ip addressing scheme.
    Kr,
    Yannick Vranckx

Your best bet is to use the new tool: cisco prime collaboration deployment. This fits perfectly into what you want to do here and can easily help you with all aspect of the migration including the ip address change. You can learn how to use the tool here..

  • Call Manager Migration 7.1.5 to 9.1 / Trunking : ICT vs. SIP

    Hello All,
Currently studying for CCNA Voice and have been asked by my current employer to upgrade CUCM 7.1.5 to 9.1.1. There has been a time frame put on the deployment however I want to dig pretty deep into the deployment to learn as much as possible. I am going to start by configuring a trunk between the 2 call manager clusters. from there I will add users to the new call manager and try to convert slowly to the new call manager instead of one big cutover. I will place a route pattern over the trunk so that cucm 9.1 will route through cucm 7.1 while I slowly convert users to the new system. I will then deploy directory numbers in a Staging partition that is not associated with any CSS. Once I have all users and phones configured on the new 9.1 call manager I want to use the bulk admin tool to change the staging partition to the working internal_PT production partition. The users will be imported from LDAP.  My questions are, does this sound like a feasible plan?  Is there any other difference between a SIP trunk and ICT besides the SIP and H.323 protocol? ( I prefer SIP from what I have read) and will having the same users on both boxes interfere with call processing, if these users and phones are not active yet?

Just for the record. I found the solution to my problem. Checking more logs I read this:
The installation has encountered a unrecoverable internal error. For further assistance report the following information to your support provider.
    "/usr/local/cm/script/cm-dbl-ontape_backup-install RU PostInstall 9.1.2.11900-12 7.1.5.30000-1 /usr/local/cm/ /common/component/database /common/log/install/capture.txt " terminated. Exceeded max time (240)
    The system will now halt.
So I accessed the Dissaster Recovery Section on CUCM and deleted the tape backup device that was configured there. After deleting it the upgrade went well.

  • Problem with Advanced Security Manager

    Hi
I am using the advanced security manager to migrate security from Essbase 7 server to Essbase 11 server. The users who are externally authenticated on essbase 7 server are under native security mode on the Essbase 11 server after security import.Does the Advanced security manager put all the users (whether they are externally authenticated or under native security mode) in native security mode after import?
    Please help

    Hello 831221
In version 11 "native" means that the users are stored in OpenLDAP (once Essbase was externalized).
You would only be able to create "external" users if the Shared Services have been connected to an external User Source (e.g. MSAD) prior to
    importing the users.
    best regards

  • UCCX Advanced Quality Management with VMware View

    Hi,
I have a customer who uses UCCX 8.5 with VMware View clients running CAD and 7940 IP phones.
They are looking at recording options and have expressed an interest in the Advanced Quality Management product.
There are a few issues that I would need to consider specific to their environment.
The first is that Desktop based recording would not work in this environment as CAD is running on a virtual desktop rather than a PC daisy chained to the IP phone. The second is that network based recording is not supported as the 7940 phones do not have a Built in Bridge.
This leaves server based recording which uses SPAN port mirroring. The issue with this is that the agents phones are distributed across multiple Catalyst switches so I guess I would need to configure RSPAN - has anyone got any experience of using Cisco QM with RSPAN? - if yes how well did it work? - the customer would probably be willing to upgrade the IP phones used by the agents if that would be a better option.
The final query relates to the Screen Recording Client - the install guide details how to install this on a Citrix server but makes n mention of VMware view. Does anyone know if support for this is on the roadmap?
    Thanks!

    Hi James
I've done an RSPAN deployment with UCCX recording which I presume will have similar gotchas...
The only issue I had was that I ham fisted an RSPAN config in that SPANned the VVLAN on all the edge switches. My mistake was that I didn't exclude the uplink ports, and these switches were stacked, so there was a lot of packet duplication initially (sounds like 90s dance music time stretching).
If you ensure you SPAN ingress only on all the endpoints (i.e. phones, and gateways) and then exclude any ports where traffic might be seen a second time (e.g. switch uplinks), and then filter for the voice VLAN  you should be OK.
This deployment was a routed LAN with different subnets on each edge stack but this worked OK with everything running through a single RSPAN session back to the server.
I've not had the good fortune to have to do this more than a couple of times, and I've not done it for AQM  - but assuming that SPAN/RSPAN are supported along with the video recording part running on the endpoints I don't see it being too different as they seem to be written by the same people.
Can't help re: VMware view either I'm afraid...
