Sorry, its on both my iphone 4s (2 iphones) and ipad2 that the app store is slow, I have done all the above and still when i download a 1 mb app it take about a half a hour just to download and previously it wasn't even a second. When browsing the web the devices are fast and internet speed is good, but when going in to app store it takes long to load and show me the new app, updates, featured app ect. We watch movie online and the streaming is brilliant. Even on my windows pc the app store is slow and sometimes says that i store could not be opened, i have also tried on my buddies wifi and there it does exactly the same which makes me think that its on apples side, but why do you not have any problems?

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.

I have this issue also. Both lists (purchased and not on this ipad) attempt to refresh but seem to timeout and leave the page empty. Can only assume that there's an issue at Apples end. Quiet annoying though.

I have never experienced that or read about it either but before you resort to restoring - and that may be what you have to end up doing - try the basics first.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Sometimes just restarting the iPad can really help. The resolution may end up being more complicated, but try the simple things and then move on.

From the middle of the screen swipe down. This is Spotlight. Enter the name, App Store, and it will show in the list with the folder it's in to the right. Either run it from there or pull it out of that folder.

Restrictions are disabled. When I turned on Restrictions "installing apps" is greyed out and cannot be changed. How can I fix this?

I can not find an app in the App Store.

I have an iPad and an iPhone. Both have an app that my bank has out thru the App Store. I recently acquired an iPad mini that I want this app on. I searched for it but it is no longer there. I went onto my iPad 2 and again, no where to be found. I went onto my iPhone and searched for it and it IS in the App Store. I have not received any messages from my bank saying it was going to be disabled/deleted or anything.
My ultimate question is this: How can I locate the app?

Which bank is it? It may be that the bank now only has an iPhone app, and not an iPad version. Apps run differently between the two products.
