I need help please. I have 6 apps updates shown on on the upper right corner of the app store icon. When i tried to open the apps store and go to updates, the apps that need to be updated were not appearing therefore i have no idea what those apps are so that i can update them. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Whenever I launch the Newsstand or iBooks stores, either from the applications or from a download link online, the app crashes immediately.
The App Store and iTunes work fine.

Maps used to be a feature demo app for me. Street View wowed everyone. Apple developers met and agreed that that wasn't cool and needed to be fixed. Now maps is painfully slow and shows my mother as being located offshore on an island in the Pacific. She lives in Vancouver. This is improvement? How did this notion even get out of the meeting room?
Developers everywhere seem bent on improving functionality to the point where it's just easier to grab a pencil and a piece of paper and get the job done. -

Hello, and this is my first post. For a day or so now I cant get into the itunes store, and when I try to it crashes and I get a report generated that starts like this:

Every other aspect of the program works and I can still buy music from my shopping cart. I have tried reloading the program, I verified the HD, fixed the keychain, did a virus scan using Intego, started a new account and tried opening it thorugh there all with the same result. The rest of my computer programs work. If anyone has any ideas I would be most appreciative, thanks, Marc
Powerbook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.9)Well, now we know it's something likely system-wide. Try a few things:
1.) Completely disable your anti-virus software. Maybe even experiment with uninstalling it temporarily.
2.) If you are connected to the internet via a router, disconnect it and connect directly via your broadband modem.
3.) Disable any firewall software.
4.) Disable any web accelerator software. -
My new 4th generation iPod touch won't let me view my pictures.. It lets me get into the app but when I try to look at an album it crashes. I've tried resetting and turning it off for a while and nothing has worked. What do I do?

Why does the App Store always crash
Why does the app store always crash when I go to use the app genius on my ipod touch, it does it everytime. It even does it ocasionaly when I search for apps. Whats going on Apple. Please look into this or tell me how to turn genius off if thats what is causing the crashes, I can't find how to turn it off in the settings.
The most usual explanation would be that you need to update or you have to many things taking up your memory

Hello everyone. Can anyone shed some light on this problem? If I downloaded an app from the app store called "Print to PDF" that allows opening any application and going to print converts that to a PDF e.g. Safari pages, mail etc and I did not sync or "transfer purchases" for some time and when I look in the app store that app is no longer there so I thought if I could "transfer purchases" iTunes would then have the .ipa and I could back it up and copy it to my iPad 2 but I don't see the ipa in the "mobile applications" directory. How do I get it off my iPad and into iTunes to backup?

I was wondering if anyone else knew of a way to get to the ipa file that is stored on the iPad such as a program that could browse the directories of the iPad of even an app that could do it so I can get and save the actual app in ipa format.

My "Hanging with Friends" app keeps crashing whenever I try to open it. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app, restarted my iPhone, and even restored my iPhone all together, and nothing is working. How can I get this app to work again?
Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

My Instagram app on my iPhone 4s keeps crashing whenever i try to open it. I want to delete it then download it again but it said that doing so would delete all of it's data. Does that mean I'll lose all of my pictures?
I have this excact problem too, Deleting the the app and then reinstalling it won't delete your photos as they are stored on facebooks servers. You will just have to remember you username and password to sign in again. Ever since Facbook bought instagram i have had this problem on my 4S too.
