Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID. -

On your iPad tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. Or on your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should also be a payment link.

App Store has not updated for over 24 hours now, it was updating as usual early AM Nov. 6th, I have changed nothing, App Store will not let update or purchase happen now. Anyone know why? Thank you.

I have a mac pro 1.1. the main hard drive failed. How do I reload OS X 10.7 back in my computer. the app store will not let me reinstall this os. My computer is not compatible OS x 10.8?
You need to first install the OS your Mac came on the bundled gray disks. Assuming it's Snow Leopard, you could then login into the App Store using your same Apple ID and password to download and install Lion.
If your Mac is a bit older and came with Leopard, 10.5.x, you can bypass that and install Snow Leopard from your retail disk. The only software you'd need to install separately from the gray disks would be the optional software, such as the iLife suite and other titles not included on the retail SL disk. -

If you tried to buy something and did not have the money, your Apple ID will
be disabled. You need to resolve the problem before you can download anything
including apps you previously had.

I have 2 Apple ID's but the app store will not let me update iPhoto with either
I have a MacBook pro 2011. For some reason i have ended up with 2 Apple ID's i must have forgotten something or i changed my account name from when i first set up the machine. Some apps allow me to upgrade with one but not the other. I have upgraded to Yosemite via a clean install at the Apple store. I have loaded back on my back up but iPhoto isn't there and it has asked me to upgrade via the App store. Unfortunately neither Apple ID's will let me upgrade.
The Message on screen is:
Upgrade unavailable with this Apple ID
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled
Do i head back to the Apple store and talk with them or is there something i can do at home?

SI think you're confusing RAM memory with hard drive memory storage...the two aren't the same.
Although you're being told you need 2GB of RAM to run Mountain Lion....I would consider 4GB the minimum. You should be able to upgrade the RAM in your iMac to 4GB for well under $100. -
I tried it this morning to download Twitter and it worked just fine. I also was able to download other apps before school. Now I'm trying to download a few Christmas apps and it won't work at all. I tried other apps thinking maybe it was just the certain app and none of them are able to be downloaded. I cannot figure out what to do. I have restarted my phone, changed my password, logged out and back into my account and nothing is working. What do I need to do to get it to work?
I went into settings, iTunes & App Store and tapped on my appleID, then signed out. I went back into the App Store on my phone and tried to download the app and then signed in again, and it worked!

The App store is not letting me use my gift card to purchase any apps...ideas?
It is a $100 gift card and has already been redeemed and purchases have been made previously. There is a remaining balance on the card. When i sign into the app store, there used to be a balance that appeared beside the "account" tab, but now it is gone! Everytime I try to make a purchase, the app store asks me to confirm the billing information and to resign into my mac account. Once i sign in, it asks for my billing information again and the cycle continues. Not too sure what I'm supposed to do. Also, it has worked until yesterday when I downloaded the new itunes and synced my newly purchased iphone with my mac.

Several things to try ...
If you are running v10.6, install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
If you are running v10.7, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo)
That will reinstall the App Store for you. Restart your Mac after the combo is installed.
Try logging into the App Store and check your balance.
You can also view your balance is the account area at the iTunes Store on your Mac.
Apple - Apple Gift Cards
When you review your account in the Edit Payment Information window in either the Mac App Store or iTunes Store, don't forget to the click the Done button bottom right side of the window.
If nothing above has helped, try resetting your iTunes account. You can do that here > Apple - My Apple ID
And try deleting the cache associated with the App Store. Quit the App Store if it's open.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash. Try the App Store.

When the app is downloaded it will expand as all app downloads do. You are downloading a "compressed installer" in a manner of speaking. When the app expands it will be larger than the space that you have left on the device.

I wanted to restore my new Macbook Air (over the web).. using a new apple ID instead of the old one I originally used when I bought the computer from the apple store a month ago. By doing that, everything worked, but the iLife programs that originally came with it shows in the app store as "ACCEPT". When I try to accept them... it says they are assigned to another ID.. you must repurchase them for this ID.
I have no problem if I have to repurchase. I just can't find anywhere to do that. No matter what I do, I can only "ACCEPT".. which as I said earlier - don't work.
