After updating my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S iOS to 5.1.1. The App Store of both device are ruin. The font is bigger, the background color is black. And the screen resolution is bigger than the screen of my devices. Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks!
Double tap the screen with 3 fingers. Then:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > Off, White on Black > Off

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Further to my earlier post, I have just read an entry noting that if you already own a domain name, and ask your hosting service to forward and mask your iWeb '08 created, web.mac.com site to your personal domain, chances are that due to the masking of the site on web.mac.com, Safari browsers interpret the masking as being the end of the site, and as such, just return a blank page?
This may explain the problem. However, call me old fashioned, and possibly a little naive, but surely this cannot be the problem?? It's OK in Firefox! -

What version of OS X are you using? If Yosemite, you need to update to 10.10.1 or higher.

after doing a factory reset my iphone 3g recongnises o2 as its primary carrier but i cant get any signal at all so please anybody do know how to fix this?
hi peter, that was the plan to get o2 to unlock the which they do 4 £15 but as i cant get any network signal signal of them (but i am getting a 3g signal as i can access the internet???) o2 are saying there is nowt they can do. i still get no signal after doing a factory reset which in a perfect world should reset my network back to o2 but no signal only getting 3g.im at lost now on how to restore the network im sure its something to do with the carrier signal ?

I have a regular post for the top 3 or 4 fixes for that 9808 error. Obviously you are going to skip #1, since you've already tried it. Let me know how you get on with the next 2.
The top 3 fixes to itunes error 9808 seem to be
1) Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced, make sure that SSL 3.0 is checked and TLS 1.0 is checked. Also under Security make sure that the “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)” is unchecked. Then click ok and fire up iTunes.
2) The culprit was Norton. The users are set up as Admin and Standard. I have Parental Controls turned on in both Vista as well as Norton. Admin users had no problems connecting to iTunes. Standard users would get the error. I had to go to Norton’s Personal Firewall and add the program “iTunes Helper.exe” and set the option to “Allowed” (”iTunes.exe should already be in the Allowed category.) in order for the standard users to be able to connect.
3) close iTunes if you have it open right now. Then go to C:/Documents and Settings/username/Local Settings/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes. Delete or cut the preferences.xml file which contains your iTunes preferences. Then go to C:/Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes and delete or move the preferences.xml file. For Mac users, there is only one file you must delete or move a to a new location and is located at User > Library > Preferences > com.apple.itunes.plist. Restart iTunes and it will recreate those two (or one) files with the default settings. Feel free to set your preferences back to what they were and then connect to the iTunes store and enjoy!
And #4, see if you can get into the iTS from a different windows admin account on the same PC. -
I have previously bout about 30-40 apps from the app store. After a recent update to the newest version of iOS (and a reset back to factory standards), i find that i cant put any of the apps from my iTunes library, back onto my phone!? When i try, it says that the apps location cant be found!? I tried going into the app store and in the app section going into 'Purchaces', in the hope that i could just re-install them from there (because i have already paid for them), but in there, it tells me that there are NO apps in my purchaces list!? This is quite concerning because i have spent quite a bit of money on these apps, that now seem to be un-usable?! Ican still put all my music on my phone through iTunes liuke normal, but Podcasts are doing the same thing as the apps?! Can someone please help me, or suggest what to do because im really getting frustrated. I really like my iPhone, but if this is what is going to keep happening, i think ill change to an Android phone. . . . .

Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.

K when I'm trying download an app called gun bros or any other app is disappears. Lately my iPad has been a bit buggy and it's not jail broken I do need some help as I've looked it up on the Internet but no luck so I came pls help me out.
Ps it's on 4.2.1 quick isn't listed for the operating system so I put it up here.Have you got age restrictions set in Settings > General > Restrictions so that the app is being hidden when it's downloaded ?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

My iPhone lists every song (songs that I have imported from cd's, but not purchased through iTunes) twice. iTunes only shows 1 instance of each song. If I delete a doubled up entry from the phone, it deletes the whole song. Has anyone else run into this problem?

I just upgraded to Lion. I just installed iLife'11 last night. When I import photos into iMovie (version 9.0.4.) , it imports the same photo over and over as if it were the ones I selected. Not even one of the photos selected!! The thumbnais show that unselected photo, if I preview then I just see the preview screen all black.
I even tried making an iPhoto album and importing straight from there. Exact same thing. I have restarted the application, restarted the computer, and googled half-to-death. No answers.
Do any of you know how to fix this?
