The App store stalls and crashes
I been trying since yesterday to do the following updates: the Safari 6.1, Remote Desktop Client update 3.7.0, Itunes 11.1.2 and the OSX Mavericks to no avail.
Im using a Mac Mini 2011with OSX 10.8.5, Memory 8 Gb, HD 500 GB available 159.45, and I was not able to find any info on how to solve this. Disk verification was OK and I permissions are OK.
You can try downloading the updates one at a time, instead of all at once. That's helped me a few times before. Are you receiving an error message when the Mac App store crashes? If you post the error message details, someone on the forum may be able to help you further...

Try quitting the app out of your multitasking bar, and then resetting (hold power an home buttons til device shuts off and comes back on).

I have a MBP 13 from 2011 and I have a really annoying problem with connecting it to the App Store, iTunes and the software update. It claims that I have no internet/wifi/network, although I clearly have it since I am watching series through Netflix and are on Facebook at the same time. So naturally I started to look in to the firewall and it works fine, since it does not and has never blocked any other Apple products/programs. So I continued looking everywhere in the computer, found nothing. And finally I decided to re-install the MBP and I still cannot connect to neither of these programs.
I feel that it is really unnecessary to hand the MBP in for service for a problem like this, so I was wondering if there is someone out there who has a solution to this problem? Beacue , as I mentioned earlier, my internet/wifi is working perfectly with everything else, so I really do not understand why App Store, iTunes and the software update does not work.Hello there, Victoria Nisoho.

Why am I not able to access the app store, itunes and safari since upgrading to Mavericks 10.9?
IT tells me they would have to revert to the old OS which they don't want to do or can't do? I have been two months without access. I am at a loss. any help or guidance would be appreciated. I work for state government and our servers are PC-based which I think where the problem is. Is there a work around to gain access to the app store, itunes and safari. The app store icon indicates I have updates available but I am stuck. Please advise.
I know safari is mac's native browser. Since updating to OSX10.9, I have not been able to open safari. Firefox works fine but I preferred safari. Safari just won't open, it acts like it wants to, but the progress bar goes about half way across and stops. What other information do I need to supply?
This is a very frustrating problem when I see that there are updates to apply, but am unable to open the app store to get them. I can't even see them.
IT, in my opinion, has almost thrown in the towel since they are more PC-based.I believe it is a connection problem but they have been unable to fix it. They blame mac for a hasty upgrade release that was not fully tested to see if there were any Mac/PC connection issues.

Im trying to update my apps from the ipad in the app store section and when i press update the ipad tells me that im not connected to the itunes store??
Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Just bought 2 apps on the app store "bardbarian" and "Slayin", but now when i look at the history of what i bought it says i owe them ca 2dollars!!! help?!?!?!Untill the movie studios agree to allow past downloads of movies outside of the US, you aill always have to have a copy of purchased movies on your computer. If not, you will have to buy them again if you delete them.

Try rephrasing the question: "I have an I pad mini and I pressed an app on my App Store and it froze and every time I go on it it is still on the app". It doesn't make much sense. Perhaps post in your native language.

She downloaded the game Breakaway from the App store yesterday and today when she opened the game it said "this game is not connected to game centers" and the screen went black/blue. I tried resetting without the power adapter and with the power adapter and nothing happens. She has only had the Itouch for 2 weeks.
I did try that numerous times and nothing happened. However, I did eventually get it to work. After trying to reset it numerous times and the screen still just staying frozen I logged into the Home Share portion on the Home computer and deleted the Bubble Birds game. Eventually the Itouch died and I was finally able to reset it by plugging it in and holding down the buttons. I doubt the deletion of the game helped, but since it seemed to be the cause, I went ahead and deleted it. Thank you for your reply.

Try force quitting the app...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down for a few seconds until a red slider appears, then press and hold the Home button until the app quits. -
