    Follow these instructions.
I did it the first time, and it said it had to download some update. When it finished it went right back to the apple logo and it was locked.
I did the process again, and this time the apple came up with the status bar underneath. In Itunes, it said it was verifying the phone, and some other things. It said to not unplug the phone at all while it was doing everything.
I had to click through a few things, at the time the phone logo was there, then dimmed out and then it FINALLY went back to the original screen where I had to choose my location, region, etc.
I was working on this for 2 hrs.
I did all the classic stuff, and I read through every post.
Please like this if it works for you.
    Thanks

  • My battery drained in my iPad 4S and now it won't charge and just cycles through the Apple logo and battery low screens. I can't turn the machine off or on

My battery drained on my iPad 4s and now I can't turn it off or on. It just continues to cycle through the Apple Logo scree for about 10 seconds and than goes blank. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • Flashes the Apple logo then a White Screen

I have a iPod Nano 7 Gen formatted for Mac. I tried to restore it for use in Windows and I have a white screen now and iTunes says the server doesn't support my version of iTunes. So there is no system on the iPod.

    Hello pkeimig,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
To troubleshoot this issue of a white screen on your iPod, please follow the steps below:
Screen is unresponsive and displays Apple logo or white screen
Reset iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and Home button until you see the Apple logo appear. If the Apple logo appears on the display, connect iPod to a computer and verify that it appears in iTunes.
If the Apple logo does not appear, or if the iPod is not seen in iTunes, connect it to iTunes and try to restore.

  • TS3680 My 2008 iMac sounds the chime, shows the Apple logo on a grey screen, then shows a grey circle with a line through it an doesn't boot.  Don't know what to do next.

My iMac won't boot.  I have tried putting my DiskWarrior DVD in and starting the computer holding the "c" key down wihile it is powering up.  The DVD started to make encouraging sounds like it was trying to boot from it.  Then a grey circle comes on the screen and there is a sound of the DVD attempting to read and failing.  Now the DVD is stuck in my computer and I can't get it out.
Any suggestions as to what to do  next?

  • My iPhone 4 stopped receiving texts, my power button is broken, so l went to settings and reset all settings. it has been stuck on the apple logo and loading bar screen for 12 hours

I just want to be able to use my phone, l thought maybe the battery was too low for it to finish loading so l plugged it in over night and it hasn't moved at all. What should l do?

Take it to an Apple store to be evaluated; without a working power button, there is no further troubleshooting you can do.

  • Iphone frozen at the apple logo

    hey all!
i turned my iphone 3g off, and when i tried to turn it back on, the apple logo is frozen.. i looked at the troubleshouting tips and i restarted it by holding the sleep and middle button.. the screen blinked and its still stuck on the logo.. it wont turn back on.. i tried it so many times. holding it down for more than 10 secs.. still no luck.. whenever i press the off and on key, the screen only shows the apple logo..
    any suggestions?

Mine just did that too! I kept holding the two buttons down, and it kept doing what you said, then suddenly, it just stopped responding, then about 2 minutes later, it started vibrating and turned on, and said, "iPhone is activated." What the heck? I've had it for like, 4 months! lol

  • My iPod keeps showing the apple logo + a blank screen and the lock screen keeps freezing when trying to unlock it.

Last night I turned my iPod touch 4g off randomly and then when I went to turn it back on and went to unlock the screen it froze up right there and will not unlock to the home screen to where all my apps and all that are. Ever since that happened the iPod keeps showing the apple logo repeatedly, as well as a screen being completely blank when still turned on. Also when i plug in the iPod to the computer it recognizes it for a second but the iPod does nothing and shuts off and repeats in showing the apple logo and blank black screen. I can get it to the home screen where the slide to lock button is but every time i even attempt to slide it, it freezes up and doesn't do it.
I also having been trying to restore it by plugging in the cord and pressing the home button to get the screen with the usb cord to pop up but no matter what i do, it will not let me turn the iPod off period because every time i keep trying to do that it just shows the apple logo and all of what i said up above again. I have also seen it get a white screen to show a few times , which i assume means the white screen of death. I have never seen that screen before this happened.
I know this is not making any sense whatsoever but this is very hard to put into words in explaining. I have searched the internet but i can't find a single problem that sounds like this one in solving to fix it. The iPod is on right now as i'm typing this. I haven't attemtped to push the buttons down again to fix as i would assume maybe to just leave it alone as i sleep through the night in hopes of it maybe working or even dying. I've only had this iPod for 4 months now and i just don't understand why it won't let me turn it off completely or work properly for me to restore it.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • My ipod touch flashes the apple logo and the lock screen. How do I fix it?

My ipod touch 4th Generation will flash from the Apple Logo to my locked screen.  Although when I plug in my headphones everything works perfectly.  I have not had this ipod very long and i have already recieved a new one from Apple before. I have also tried reseting it as well.

First try restoring the iPod from backup.
Next try restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.

  • HT1349 My ipad has the apple logo stuck on it.  How do I get rid of it?

I can't get my iPad to work.  The Apple logo is frozen on it.  I can't get it off to get it working again.

There are two things to try. If the first thing you try fails, try the next.
    Two Button Reset.
This is the least likely to result in loss of data.  Read that again, especially the phrase "least likley."
Unplug the iPad from the computer.
Press and hold both the home and the sleep/wake buttons (ignore the red slider) until you see the silver Apple logo.
When you see the logo, let both buttons go.
If this worked, you should see an icon instructing you to connect to iTunes.  My guess is that the reset did not work.
    DFU Restore
This will very likley result in loss of data.
Plug the iPad into the computer.
Ensure that it is running the latest version of iTunes and that it has access to the internet.
Press and hold both the home and sleep/wake buttons for exactly eight seconds.
Release only the sleep/wake button but continue to hold the home button for another five seconds.
Let go of the home button, then look at the computer screen for an instructional popup.
The popup should say "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode. . .(etc)"  Click accept to all boxes and let iTunes download and install all of the latest device Firmware and Software.
If no popup appears, repeat the above DFU instructions.  If you 've never done a DFU, it may take about three attempts to get the timing right.

  • Iphone 5 won't get past the apple logo

    Hi,
My phone died last night and i put it on charge, the apple logo appeared but nothing more. I tried to reboot the phone numerous times by clicking the home and power button together, ive tried leaving it over night on charge, and ive also tried to plug it into my mac and restore it. This morning i tried the same methods of which none worked however at one point it clicked into the welcome page to swipe across and then entre my wifi details, i added those and continued to click the back up from itunes option, it backed up and restored and completed, however the apple logo appeared again and didnt boot into my home screen so im left with the apple logo still on my screen and no further.
Any help would be massively appreciated!
    Thanks
