The apple store application is completely taken off of my ipad. I also cannot delete apps.
It's on ipad 2 on iOS 7.1.1 or something. The most recent iOS version as of May 4th 2014
Check your restrictions.
Settings>General>Restrictions>Install/Deleting apps

Rebooting does not normally revert to a different version of the OS.
So what version is currently running?
And did you purchase Lion at the app store? If so, sign in and it should show up under Purchases and you can download and install it again. -
After I took my iPhone to the Apple store for a completely different problem, which they fixed, my wifi will no longer recognise my home wifi like it used to.

Why isn't the Apple store working?
Why isn't the Apple store working? I wanted to buy a iPad but I can't because the store isn't working. When will the store start working?
Apple is in the midst of announcing new products and they normally take the Apple Store offline while a keynote is in progress. The Apple Store will be back up when the keynote is over. Try back in about a half an hour or so.

Why doesn't the apple store give the same 3 year guarantee that John Lewis gives

It would appear that John Lewis are also selling the new macbook pros for the same price as the apple store, but with a 3 year guarntee (presumably you would also get the 1 year warranty provided by Apple too), why does the Apple Store not also give a 3 year guarntee?

I went to the apple store and they did a reset on my iPad...I was able to restore all my apps Except Pages and Numbers...those don't appear on my purchased apps at the App Store...how do I restore them...without paying for them again..of course.
If you go into iTunes and sign in and then try to download them again it will let you redownload them. Just make sure you're signed in with the apple ID you used to buy them in the first place.

My iPad won't download video rentals from the apple store
I've tried to download two films from the apple store on a rental basis on my new iPad mini. When I try to download it just says there is an error and it can't be downloaded at this time and to tap to retry, when you retry the same thing happens. I did get it to download once but then it just got stuck at processing. Can anybody help as I can't remove them from my queue either.

Hi, umm so anyways my ipod is about 2 years old now and i think the reason why it started to malfunction in the first place was because i had too much stuff on my ipod, apps, movies, and junk. But now i took it to the apple store and they were able to restore my ipod but when i go home it goes bad again and i try ot restore it on my laptop and it says it can't restore it. (11) and another thing is that when i try to turn my ipod on, it turns on to the apple logo then all of a sudden theres suppose to be the unlock screen but instead a black screen with a tiny loading sign in the middle and it keeps buffering and it never turns on. and then it shuts off with a white screen and then does the same exact thing for like 10 minutes. please help me. I dont know what to do. and my dad will be very ****** if it cant be helped..D:

I have a iPad 2 , not jail broken, just 2 months old fresh from the apple store. Recently I have been directed to **** sites or a fake bad oink **** application, through various applications. From google chrome app, the photon app and safari.
I always delete cookies and cache on exit. I use photon and puffin to watch flash player videos on tv series site with links such as put locker. I heard that there is no virus for the iPad but Trojans do exist.
Pleae help, at first this was just happening with photon app now in 3 different apps, and it is directing me always to the same **** site. Despite the dramatic title of the article, the only mention of iOS in the body was this:

Again, even Kaspersky doesn't say such things exist now, merely that they might.
Speculation about what might happen in the future or articles focusing on the Mac OS or Android are not terribly relevant. So, if you do have any other citiations, preferably from a source that doesn't derive most of is revenue from the companies it reviews, that document a virus or trojan that affects an unjailbroken iOS device, I would be interested. I have not been able to find any. I thought, perhaps, as a professional, you might know of some.

I have an imac and a macbook pro. my creative suite 5.5 design premium is on them both. I'm about to take them in to the apple store because they are running bad and have them completely restored to factory settings. when I get them back will i be able to re-install my adobe creative suite to both of my computers using my same product code from when i first bought it?
Yes. Just make sure to deactivate the license on both systems using Apple menu --> Deactivate while one of the suite programs is running.

I bought an iPhone 5 from the Apple store with a new Sprint contract in Sept. 2012. I would like to know if I port my number to T-mobile and pay off my Early Termination fee with Sprint, will my iPhone 5 will be unlocked to use with T-mobile network?
As Ethmoid says, it is still a CDMA phone as I told you earlier, and it will not work with t-mobile. Even if Sprint unlocked the phone, it would only unlock the GSM side for international use. They will not unlock the GSM side for domestic use in the US.

If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

Phone cycles on and off. I have restored and so has the apple store.
I had a screen sensitivity issue with my original 4s. It would react to my finger getting within about 1/4 inch of the screen, and would auto dial without anyone touching the screen. Fortunately, It happened to actually do this in front of one of the 'geniuses' on my third trip to the apple store so they replaced the phone about 5 months ago. I was given a 90 day warranty on the new phone. It worked fine until last week.
It started cycling on and off. Then it wiped the phone and all of my apps. I restored the phone but there would be a noticeable hesitation between when I touched the screen and when the touch registered. This went on for two days.During those two days the power indicator did not ever show any indication there had been any battery drain, but always showed 100% charged, days, then went dead without ever showing it was discharging. I took it to the Apple store. They tried to do the same restore I had. The phone came back on, but then cuts on and off to the Apple logo. The battery will take a charge, but as it sits on the charger it cuts on and off. The store solution was for me to purchase a new phone since they either had no idea what the problem was, or wouldn't tell me. The phone has not had rough treatment or been exposed to water or excessive moisture. Any suggestions?try to force restore using: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If that doesn't work, I'm afraid the device needs another hardware repair.
Please note that using that article will erase everything so make sure you've got a backup.
But restore it AS NEW if it's at all possible.
