The Apple store blocks access using old Apple IDs.

How can I get ITunes and the APPLE store to use my current ID for login with them.
I cannot update my aps. because it rejects my present ID and the passwords to the
old ones they display. It does not give me the option of filling in my current ID.
This has been an ongoing saga and frustration. Anyone else have this problem?

Try contacting the store support staff at: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html they are usually pretty good at sorting out these issues.

TS1368 When I am looking at iTunes on my PC, running Windows 7 (updates are complete), and click on the iTunes Store block in the upper left hand corner, I get the message that "iTunes has stopped working". What can you suggest?

iTunes crashes when I click the iTunes Store block. What can I do to get the iTunes Store to open on my computer running Window 7 (all updates installed)? No, you do not need to re purchase Lion. You can re download Lion on all your authorized Macs using the same Apple ID.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.

It seems this is a "backwards" upgrade from Apple in their iTunes 11 release....like you, I used to use that function in the iTunes store to sort through and decide which song version to purchase. (For a large returned list of songs...see all...then sort by any of the headers, including Popularity...this functionality is now gone.)
The iPad always suffered from this...was never able to sort on those same column headers with an iPad. It seems, this new iTunes release killed that functionality on the Mac as well.
Just one of the few things that went wrong with number 11!

Try logging out of the existing Apple ID at Settings > iTunes & App Store.
Select your Apple ID and at the window that appears, select Sign Out.
Sign back in with the changed Apple ID.

I have 2 WFE behing F5 that handles ssl termination too. I have a site abc.xyz.com.
At aam i have
http://abc.xyz.com in default zone and https://abc.xyz.com in internal zone.
AT sharepoint content source; I have both http and https of the above site version.
DNS entry of abc.xyz.com is pointing at VIP in f5 which load balances this site at 2 different ips assigned to each web front end server.
Now when i run search in this content source, searchable item populates but there is error for http request telling An unrecognized HTTP response was received when attempting to crawl this item. Verify whether the item can be accessed using your browser.
Why is this happening?
Is it because requests are coming to f5 as https but search is returning it as http? Will SSL termination removal from f5 solve this issue which i really don't want to do? Will pointing dns entry to two ips in wfe instead of f5 VIP will work?

A wet phone is out of warranty. This is considered user damage. Even if you were able to get it to start now, the chances of it working for long are slim. I suggest going to Apple and see about an OOW replacement. One for the iPhone 4 is only $149USD and it would come with a short warranty. It is a refurbished device and you would not be worried about encountering additional problems.

No, stores are country specific and require a form of payment native to the same country. You would need a credit card issue from a USA financial company or bank, with a USA billing address.

I changed my email associated with my apple id. The app store asks for my old email when updating apps.

When I download a new app, the app store recognizes the new, correct email, however, when I try to update existing apps, I'm prompted with the old email. Is this a bug? How can I fix this?

It sounds like you created a new Apple ID rather than changing the old one. Which means that purchases made on the old Apple ID can only be updated using that ID.

I was struggling with creating an account without a credit card at first and then someone on here suggested I create my account through the actual website and I log onto the website without any trouble and onto Game Center, just nowhere else. It says "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store." and asks me to review my account information but when I click on review, it completely ignores my request. This is somewhat infuriating as I really would like to start using the App Store. Thank you for your help.
