The apple store replaced my phone due to it being defective. I had purchased some applications on the old phone how do I reinstall them on the new phone?
The Apple Store replaced my defective iPhone today. I would like to get the applcations reinstall on the new phone. How can I get this done?
Click on the iTunes App. Select "Purchased" and you will find them with a cloud symbol next to them. Re-download...

as i said, i checked onto itunes on my pc and noticed all the songs i had in my library had been erased, except for the songs i had purchased on itunes...how do i retrieve my songs...??

As Peter says above, only an Apple Store genius can advise you.
But to further clarify, you seem to postulate that if Apple helps you, the cure would be a replacement. That is not necessarily true. Let them look at it and advise you what the remedy is. They may offer you nothing (saying it's your fault), or they may offer you a solution (keeping your current iPhone), or possibly a replacement. -
Just downloaded 7.2 into my Iphone 5 what a mess. Dropped called no audible notifications for email or text messages. Went to the apple store and reset phone to original specs. Now trying to restore apps and music and itunes will not recognize the phone. I have gone thur the steps for windows 7 and still nothing??? I have downloaded the newest version I itunes too.

It seems like I just missed the interval for the hard disk replacement program. I purchased in March 2009 a 24 inch Intel iMac . How much does it cost to have apple support at an Apple Store replace a hard drive?
My hard drive continually has the floating beach ball and will take massive time to fulfill a request. And then will not boot up...so then I have to do a restore and rebuild hard drive from a past saved time machine version. Works for a little bit...then the floating beachball comes more and more...until it will not boot up again. So then I restore from a previous time machine saved version....and again it works for a day or so ... until it happens again. Now it's happening faster and faster...so I think my hard drive is dying.

Can a unlocked (no ATT, Verizon, Sprint plan) iphone 5 bought from an Apple store utilize a phone call while simultaneously checking email, turn by turn, web pages etc.? I know the ATT version can and the Verizon version can't, so can the unlocked version from Apple (which is not yet available) do it?

The iPhone comes with a 1 year warranty.
This covers defects but not accidental damage.

I occasionally have issues waking my macbook pro up from sleep mode resulting in my need to restart the computer. I dislike all of my programs opening at once when I do get the computer started becasue it slows the cpu down. The apple store replaced the sleep part but the problem is still there. Note: i never had this problem with snow leopard
I'm not certain but my new MBA 13...when in sleep mode comes back on from a black screen when I simply click on the left mouse button. Also, one time I did a SECURE EMPTY TRASH on files that totalled more than 1GB and it took so long that the fan kept increasing in speed so I pressed on the POWER button and the MBA shut...I was able to boot up with no problem. As a rule, I now only do secured erases for trash bin data totalling 500mb or less...anything above that gets a regular erase (dump).

The hard drive on my MacBookPro recently crashed. The Apple store replaced it. Since then I can't open iphoto. It asks to rebuild library; when I click yes, I get: "Aperture cannot access this library; reset permissions." I don't own Aperture! Any thoughts on how I can rebuild the iphoto library? Currently I can't even get into it.
Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. Can a local Apple store replace the hard drive in a current iMac or do they have to send it out to a service center for repair? I was told that the new iMacs are too difficult to service now that they are glued together and a local Apple store cannot do the repair themselves. Is this true?
i know the SSD is serviceable like all the apple products, and isn't that difficult to replace. definitely reach out to the store and find out. you should be able to call ahead and get some answers from the Genius Bar.

either my iphone 5 was icloud activation locked....No. apple will not facilitate your ability to use a stolen phone.
If it is locked with YOUR Apple ID and you can't remember the ID or password, start at https://iforgot.apple.com. If you can't reset it there, call AppleCare and speak to someone in Account Security. Be prepared to prove your identity.
If it's locked with someone else's ID, they must release the lock. -
